Nokwe rotation continues

Jongi Nokwe has regained his place in the Cheetahs starting line-up that will face the Sharks in Bloemfontein on Friday.

The Cheetahs make two changes to the side that lost 19-13 against Western Province last week at Newlands.

Twenty-year-old Lionel Mapoe has been dropped to the U21 team to make way for Nokwe. The two players have been rotated on the left wing in alternative matches – with Mapoe starting twice in recent weeks.

Another change sees injured flank Johan Wessels – who was a star performer last week – replaced by Frans Viljoen at No 6. This gives utility forward Izak van der Westhuizen a place on the bench.

Cheetahs – 15 Hennie Daniller, 14 Danwel Demas, 13 Corné Uys, 12 Robert Ebersohn, 11 Jongi Nokwe, 10 Jacques-Louis Potgieter, 9 Tertius Carse, 8 Francois Uys, 7 Hendro Scholtz (c), 6 Frans Viljoen, 5 David de Villiers, 4 Nico Breedt, 3 WP Nel, 2 Adriaan Strauss, 1 Wian du Preez.
Subs: 16 Richardt Strauss, 17 Coenie Oosthuizen, 18 Izak van der Westhuizen, 19 Kabamba Floors, 20 JP Joubert, 21 Louis Strydom, 22 JW Jonker.
