The Bulls scored seven tries as they beat a hapless Boland 50-18 at Loftus Versfeld.
The Bulls were the first to score through a penalty from flyhalf Francois Brummer in the third minute which was cancelled out by his opposite number Elgar Watts three minutes later.
Boland prop Jacobus Adriaanse saw yellow in the 14th minute and the Bulls, with their one man advantage, punished the visitors running in two tries to open up a comfortable lead which they failed to relinquish for the rest of the game.
Exciting young Bulls winger Gerhard van den Heever scored a try in each half as the hosts put 50 past their woeful opponents.
The bonus-point win sees the Bulls move up to second on the log – one point clear of Western Province – while Boland remain in sixth spot.
