Hosts Daniel Pienaar won the latest round of @tlantic Sevens Schools Rugby Series when they defeated Grey High 26-19 in a tense final of the Eastern Province leg on Saturday.

Grey’s SA Schools flank Siya Kolisi was chosen as the Player of the Tournament.

The tournament’s 12th leg now moves down to George where Outeniqua High school will host the event. The hosts are favourites to win the tournament, however there are no certainties in sevens and the series has already produced a few surprises in the first 11 legs.

The participating teams on Saturday are: Oudtshoorn, Parkdene, Excelsior, Sao Bras, Outeniqua, Bridgeton, Groot Brak, Calitzdorp, Punt, Langenhoven Gymnasium, George High, Gerrit du Plessis, Oakdale, Uniondale, Albert Myburgh, and Pacaltsdorp.

The tournament kicks off at 8.30am, with the Cup final to be played at 4 pm.
