Mokuena free to play
7 Oct 2009
Griquas captain Jonathan Mokuena will be available for selection this weekend after being cleared in a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday morning.
Griquas team manager Human Kriek confirmed this information to keo.co.za, saying Mokuena will not be punished for the three yellow cards he has received this season.
The skipper picked up his third sin-binning against the Bulls at Loftus last Saturday for a professional foul at the breakdown. Mokuena was also sent off against Western Province the week before for repeatedly impeding from an offside position, while his first came in the latter stages of the 25-24 home defeat to the Bulls in the first round.
Mokuena’s availability will be a boost for his team as they prepare to take on the Sharks in a vital clash in Kimberley on Saturday. Griquas will need to pick up two log points against the defending champions in order to secure a semi-final place.

Hope he gets some game time with the Cheetahs next year in the S14, otherwise he can go and help the Lions.

You don’t get suspended for stupidity – except if your name is Bakkies.
