Andy Robinson has included pivot Dans Parks and named two uncapped players in Scotland’s Six Nations squad.
Parks was dropped by Robinson during the November international as the former was out of favour, but has now been recalled to squad.
The Scotland head coach has also selected uncapped Glasgow duo pivot Ruriadh Jackson and lock Richie Gray, who have been rewarded after impressive performances for their club.
‘Richie Gray has worked hard to win a place in the squad and has applied himself consistently when playing for Glasgow, and we were also pleased to see Ruaridh back in action there,’ said Robinson. ‘Dan has been playing well and it’s an asset for us to have someone of his ability in the squad.’
The injured Mike Blair, Ross Rennie, Jim Thompson and Jon Welsh have still been included in the squad and are expected to recover in time for the next team training camp on 25 January.
