Paul Treu has called up Branco du Preez, the fourth uncapped player, for the New Zealand and USA legs of the IRB World Series.

Renfred Dazel’s knee injury flared up again, and 19-year-old Du Preez has been added as his replacement. Last week Treu called on the uncapped trio of Philip van der Walt, Hoffman Maritz and Steven Hunt into the squad.

Springbok Sevens squad (revised) -Mpho Mbiyozo, Chase Minnaar, Frankie Horne, Cecil Afrika, Kyle Brown, Branco du Preez, Ryno Benjamin, Mzwandile Stick, Marius Schoeman, Steven Hunt, Hoffman Maritz, Philip van der Walt.
