Flood in for Flutey

Riki Flutey has been ruled out of Saturday’s Test against Wales with a thigh injury.

Flutey took a knock to the thigh on Thursday and the England management announced on Friday the centre would not be available for the Six Nations opener. Toby Flood will start in his stead.

Bath’s Shontayne Hape takes Flood’s place on the bench.

    @stew:

    incorrect. England now have more Maoris than the ABs – Hape on the bench can lead the Morris Haka.

    oh my goodness, you have to replace a kiwi with a pom, serious drop in talent that is… glad I tipped Wales. Mr Johnson, weighed down by his knighthood is no coach…

    oh wait, injuries, wasnt Engs strongest team (no kiwis were playing that day Id guess), whats your other usual excuses BH?? it wasnt on a solar eclipse, that happens as often as an Eng win these days surely?
