College carrot for Easter festival
19 Mar 2010
Varsity College will be awarding bursaries to the top three players in the Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival.
These bursaries are worth R60 000 each and each recipient will be awarded a contract at the Sharks Academy and they will study towards a B Com Marketing degree.
The three bursaries are based on sport and academic performance and a selection committee who will be scouting during the tournament will choose recipients. The top backline player, top forward and one overall outstanding player will be awarded on the Saturday.
The Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival will take place from Thursday, 1 April to Monday, 5 April.

Does it have to be a B Com Marketing degree?

I doubt it if they will be able to give bursaries to the top players, most of the top players have already signed contracts. Cheap trick to try and get more Grey players to play for the Sharks!
Have your say
