@rugbylover: Agree 100%. He is looking super fit too. Looks like a new person from when we saw him in Oz. Has lost a lot of weight but looking great.

    Batting really brilliant again.

@Puma: pretty good to watch these days I can assure you. We’ve put up with disappointment for many a year(as some are keen to point out) and have to say it puts a spring in the step on monday mornings. Same breath, we are mindful of what your Sharkies are going through and it’s not our hope that the dip in form is prolonged. That said, they did seem to be getting some of that old form back on saturday morning. Lets hope.

Nice to see Mr Jinx poke his nose in here from time to time. Evidence that he’s still alive and kicking. :)

@TASSIES: Sharks have had some really bad calls go there way too, but you win some and you don’t. So just taking it on the chin. Just pleased to see them get a win. Far too good a team to be sitting so low down. I am hoping Tassies that Sharks can get some more wins now. Our tourney is over really so we should just go out there and enjoy our games. Nothing to lose. What you think of our younster Lambie? He was outstanding in his debut. Brilliant under the high ball. I think he is going to be a great.

    S. Burger though is playing brilliant just brilliant rugby. I had him out of the saffa sides as the best S14 player this weekend. He was just awesome on Saturday.

Stomers are playing superb. A bye this week and that is great comes at the right time before they travel. Good luck to them on their tour. They should be Force and with a bonus too. Well I think they should they have the players and playing well together. Look a very happy team this year too. That makes it so much easier.

@Puma: I did not watch the game unfortunately. But have been reading all the commentary on his performance. I did see him play at Newlands in the pre-season warm-up. I liked his style. Green as hell but showed touches of great potential. Likes to run I noted.

@Puma: Schalk is undoubtedly enjoying a new lease on rugby life. He covers a lot of ground for a big man, has developed great hands, timing and anticipation. That’s not accounting for his enormous defensive effort. I can think of another player in the S14 this year who’s contributing more. If he’s there, someone needs to show me.

@TASSIES: He was outstanding yesterday. No fear at all, like a young Frans Steyn..hahaha. Then at 19 you just never have fear. Going to be a great I think. So brilliant at this age. He will get even better. Now hoping Plum plays him all the time and not bring Stefan back to FB. Stefan played on the wing.

@TASSIES: For sure Tassies, S. Burger is playing the best rugby I have ever seen him play ever. Looks really to be enjoying his rugby too. Good to see that.

He was a pleasure to watch on the weekend. Burger is a world class player and always has been.

Cheers Tassies, Good to catch up.

Sun out and just too good a day to sit at the computer.

    Enjoy your day too.
