South Africa will face Fiji in the Cup quarterfinals after their 21-7 win over Kenya on Saturday.
The South Afican Sevens side topped Pool F as they followed their day one win against the Zimbabwe with victories against Korea and Kenya.
They had an easy 40-7 win against Korea in their first game on day two. Kyle Brown grabbed a brace while Ryno Benjamin, Cecil Afrika, Chris Dry and Hoffman Maritz all crossed the chalk.
They then followed with an impressive 21-7 win against Kenya. The two teams were level 7-all until Dry scored on the half-time mark.
Branco du Preez sealed the win with a try in the second stanza.
South Africa will now face Fiji in the Cup quarterfinal on day three, a stage they haven’t gone past this season.
