Dinesh Karthik’s whirlwind 69 helped Delhi to a 67-run win over Rajasthan.
The Daredevils won the toss and elected to bat first, compiling a competitive 188-6. However, they were in trouble when Karthik walked to the wicket at 67-4, but he hit six fours and four sixes as 48 of his runs came from boundaries.
In reply, the Royals also faltered early on as they lost two wickets in the first over and were then 33-4. When Yusuf Pathan went for 24 off 14 with the score at 66-5, their challenge ended.
AB de Villiers wasn’t used by the Daredevils.
