Noord-Kaap beat Dale 31-21 at the St Stithians Easter festival after leading 21-14 at half-time.

The victors scored five tries through loosehead prop Cobus Cohn (two), tighthead prop Berne Bergh, flanker Herman van Niekerk, and left wing Johan van Eeden. Fullback Henco Olivier kicked three conversions. For Dale, inside centre Andile Jho and fullback Siviwe Soyswapi scored tries and Bungi Kobese kicked three penalties.

Meanwhile, Windhoek beat St David’s 29-13. The Nambians scored five tries through No 8 Gerrit Lotter, inside centre Johan Deysel (two), outside centre Berto Muller, and fullback Sven Reimers. Jaco-Martin Venter kicked two conversions.

Hosts St Stithians got their campaign off to a good start with a 15-8 win against Hudson Park after leading 9-3 at half-time, while Wynberg beat St Charles 19-6 after taking a 7-0 advantage into the break.
