Andrew Symonds’ 53 off 24 balls saw Deccan record a seven-wicket win over the Royal Challengers in the last over in Bangalore.

Jacques Kallis gave Bangalore a good start with a quick fire 68 while Indian batsman Virat Kohli’s 58 of 35 ball in the latter part of the innings asaw Bangalore finish on 184-6 off their allotted 20 overs.

M Mishra fell in the second over for Deccan but skipper Adam Gilchrist and TL Sulman kept Deccan’s chase alive with a 77-run partnership.

Andrew Symonds then came in and struck five fours and three sixes to surge the Chargers to victory with four balls to spare.
