I will be covering all the matches for Rugby15 and giving Live Updates on the Twitter and Facebook feeds.
Massive weekend for School Boy Rugby and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for some of these boys.
Rankings look pretty fair. I would have had Grey @ #1 but I’m sure that will be the way it reads at the end of the season.

@A_Poc: Wow that is a GREAT day of schoolboy rugby!
22 Apr 2010, 13:22 pm
That is only the draws for Saturday.
Sunday is a rest day and kicking lessons with Morne Steyn and Vlok Cilliers.
Monday will see them all going at it again. Draws for Monday will only be released after Saturday’s matches.
I am hoping for a Grey vs Paul Roos rematch.
And maybe Affies vs Monument.

@A_Poc: I doubt that will happen… As the Grey College – Paul Roos is an annual “derby” fixture, they are bound to play against each other in August some time! Not sure about Affies & Monnas though…

Bok fan, be honest with yourself. An abundance of rugby talent isn’t developed at english schools..

@Partizan: Ja I know – it was half-tongue-in-cheek

Lol my school doesn’t even feature

Eastern Cape well represented! Go boys!
23 Apr 2010, 15:53 pm
@A_Poc: Grey College won’t play PRG as they have a big local derby, the same goes for all the schools having local derbies against one another. The second day’s fixtures will be determined depending on the first day’s results. My guess is Affies vs Paarl Boishaai, PRG vs Monnas, Grey vs some other school like Glenwood maybe. sorry not local derbies, rather yearly derbies…as all schools are not from the same provinces obviously!

partizan, I’m not sure where you guys live but of the 20 schools in the current Top 20, 7 are English, 11 are Afrikaans and 2 are bilingual. Afrikaners dominate rugby, but no more than English speakers dominate cricket.

Not sure how you are working out these rankings but they seem to differ from the ones on saschoolsports ? Why is Glenwood so far down?
Have your say
