Despite Worcester being relegated, Sharks flyhalf Andy Goode will still play for the club next season.
Worcester lost their final match to Leeds and were knocked out the English Premiership. There were fears Goode would renege on the deal due to the lack of top-quality rugby in a World Cup year, but the Englishman has remained loyal to the contract he signed.
‘The chairman [Cecil Duckworth] spoke to Andy Goode over the weekend,’ said general manager Charlie little. ‘He is coming and gearing up to the challenge in the Championship.’
Goode joined the Sharks from Brive on loan since their third match, and will play in the final couple of games of the Super 14 against the Stormers and Force.
