Bath lash Leeds

Michael Claassens scored in Bath’s 39-3 win over Leeds on Saturday.

The result sees Bath, who boast South Africans like Claassens, Butch James, Luke Watson and Pieter Dixon in their squad, booking a place in the Premiership play-offs. They will play away at Leicester.

The Tigers were beaten 32-23 by a determined Saracens team. Schalk Brits scored an intercept try for Sarries, and the win means Brendan Venter’s side will play Northampton in the semi-finals.
