Hendre Fourie is one of nine uncapped players picked for England’s tour of Australasia.
Fourie has played for the Saxons and was called up to the senior side’s training squad during the Six Nations, and is now set to make his debut in one of the Tests against Australia or New Zealand.
Dominic Waldouck, David Attwood, Jon Golding, Geoff Parling, Joe Simpson, Rob Webber and Dan Ward-Smith, and former New Zealand rugby league star Shontayne Hape are the other uncapped players in the 44-man squad.
Locks Steve Borthwick and Louis Deacon are injured, as is Riki Flutey.
Brad Barritt has again been included in the Saxons squad for the Churchill Cup.
