Saffas supreme in UK

South African players dominated SkySports Dream Team for the 2010 English Premiership.
Six South Africans make the side, one selected by the SkySports experts who followed the Premiership on a weekly basis.
Saracens duo Schalk Brits and Ernst Joubert have made a signficiant contribution to the club’s march to the Premiership final against Leicester, while former Shark Brad Barritt has been the best midfielder in the competition.
Barritt’s omission from the England squad to tour New Zealand and Australia was one that stunned Saracens Director of Rugby Brendan Venter, but equally mystefying is how Venter was overlooked for the Director of Rugby award. Venter, in his first season in charge, guided Saracens to third in the Premiership and booked a place in the final with an away win against Northampton.
Only four English-born players make the Premiership Dream Team and Leicester’s hyped pack has no representation.
Sky Sports Dream Team: A Goode (Saracens); C Ashton (Northampton) S Rabeni (Leeds), B Barritt (Saracens), S Hamilton (Leicester); T Flood (Leicester), B Youngs (Leicester); S Tonga’uiha (Northampton), S Brits (Saracens), C Hayman (Newcastle), M Wentzel, (Leeds), J Kruger (Northampton), P Dowson (Northampton, captain), H Fourie (Leeds), E Joubert (Saracens).

Your rugby knowledge must be poor not to think Franny is an automatic inclusion.

Pretty much all of the Boks best players are playing in South Africa at the moment, But Frans Steyn and JDV, would walk straight back into the team. They add so much more class and threat then any of their rivals do. There is also a pretty good case to be made for CJ Van Der Linde as well.

@KevinRack(KevinRack)-95:
Guess you weren’t in SA when Brad Barrit decided to continue his rugby in England, because it had absolutely nothing to do with SARU or BEE/AA (as you put it)… it was rather **** Muir’s decision to play Francois Steyn at 12 in the S14 semi final after he’d had kak season and after Barrit come in the previous game and produced a match winning performance that enabled the Sharks to make the semi finals in the first place. He was just unwilling to go up against a guy that had won the World Cup playing 12 for the Boks (didn’t see a future for himself as a bok especially since Muir was the then Sharks coach and Bok backline coach).
So if you gonna blame transformation for every young white player leaving this country at least back it up with some facts.
