must be honest, I didn’t enjoy Rich’s article on Luke. Felt like it was a poor attempt to make people feel sorry for Watson which failed miserably. If I, a Watson fan can say that; I can only begin to imagine the agony everybody else felt reading that.

Also it was like there was an underlying tone that tries to pin Luke up against Cheeky, when I really don’t think that’s the case.

Just feel Keo, Simon or JC could have done a better job.

lambie and jantjies are great prospects for sa rugby.i strongly believe though that one of them should be included in the eoyt squad,just to give them a taste of test rugby..

No gents …..simple ….Lambie can play !! This kid has a head on his shoulders like a seasoned campaigner …..he needs to go the tour and be exposed to the Boks and get used to the pressures of being a Bok .In 4 years time he should be regarded as world class not just talented. The Aussies are doing it pretty well and with our hardened “old ballies” we couldnt beat them. Wake up SA ….its not about skop and moer !!

elgar watts is heading back to boland next season.

if lambie is the future at this juncture, i am a little worried. sure the kid has got some serious talent, but he is untested at 10 on super rugby level. and his place kicking is poor.

if he is going to be playing 10 for the boks on EOYT, then we need another player to step up for goalkicks. this will alleviate some of the pressure that will be on his shoulders.

if we have to take lambie or jantjies on the EOYT, i would definitely go with lambie. it is too early for jantjies, at least we have seen lambie at 12 and 15 in super rugby.

Another 14 Lambies and we’d be able to take on the world again. He’s talented, motivated and was picked on his ability rather than his pigment. Now once he’s been coached in the kicking department we’ll have another great rugger player coming out of Sharks country.

For now he’s just good.
