I would love to see the Bulls try Pierre Spies at 13 for their Crusaders game.

They are physically the same dimensions. Spies is faster and SFB (sic) is stronger.

That would simply put all of these Kiwis in a state of gob-smack to think that we too have beasts.

If you’re going to take anyone to task in regards to his size I suggest you take aim at Tickles. He reckons he tips the scales at 290lbs… geez thats a helluva lot of kegs.

got a good (or bad from a bok point of view) feeling about this guy.

he seems smart enough, decided union was the way but knew there was plenty hype in nz, which would probably hinder his learning curve, so went to france to do his apprenticeship. maybe it was only money related, but i doubt it.

it shows planning and a goal orientated mindset. that together with his obvious skill is a scary thought.

The fact he was packed off at the tender age of 15 to that big unscrupulous neighbour across the ditch, tells me he is up for whatever the press can throw at him.

Ja he will drop the AB’s as soon as the RWC is over.
Good player though but just hit his arm cos he always show boats with the ball in one hand. Big for his position.
