Sam Lane did play some u21 games this year. Looked good in them as well.

Was he coached by Christoff Lotter at Paarl Gym? If so, I can understand the hype – like we saw in the junior finals this year, there’ll be even more buckets full of quality players emerging from Province juniors in the next few years, Lotter and other excellent experienced coaches like Elmo Wolfaardt and Richard Visagie doing their thing in WP schools.

@GarethD(GarethDuncan) : William plays U/19 and Sam Lane plays U/21. William would first have to get to that level before he can be considered higher in the pecking order than Sam.

Great future depth at Flyhalf. But Gareth what about Sam Lane?? Or is he a utility back?
