Inside centre Yannick Jauzion and scrumhalf Dimitri Yachvili are preferred ahead of Damien Traille and Morgan Parra respectively while wing Maxime Medard rotates to fullback in place of Clement Poitrenaud, making place for speedster Vincent Clerc.

France – 15 Maxime Medard, 14 Yoann Huget, 13 Aurelien Rougerie, 12 Yannick Jauzion, 11 Vincent Clerc, 10 Francois Trinh-Duc, 9 Dimitri Yachvili, 8 Sebastien Chabal, 7 Imanol Harinordoquy, 6 Thierry Dusautoir (captain), 5 Lionel Nallet, 4 Julien Pierre, 3 Nicolas Mas, 2 William Servat, 1 Thomas Domingo.
Subs: 16 Guilhem Guirado, 17 Sylvain Marconnet, 18 Jerome Thion, 19 Julien Bonnaire, 20 Morgan Parra, 21 Damien Traille, 22 Clement Poitrenaud.

Triple blow for Scots - Joe Ansbro, Hugo Southwell and Rory Lamont were all ruled out of Scotland’s clash with Ireland this weekend.

Inside centre Joe Ansbro suffered a concussion in Northamption Saints’ defeat against Bath while fullback Lamont picked up a leg injury in Toulon’s loss to Agen over the weekend. Fullback Southwell hasn’t recovered from the facial injury he suffered against Wales a fortnight ago.
