The Springbok Sevens team will face champions Samoa in Pool D in Adelaide on 2-3 April.
The Boks recently won the Cup in Las Vegas, and will be hoping to build on that victory when they travel to Australia. They will face Samoa, Japan and France during the group stages of the Adelaide tournament, but the Samoans will be the toughest to beat.
‘Samoa is a powerful team and we will have to be at our best to match them,’ said Bok Sevens coach Paul Treu. ‘France and Japan are also very competitive and there is in fact no more such thing as an easy pool match any more.’
