Pumas suffer Hernandez setback

Argentina flyhalf Juan Martin Hernandez has seriously injured his knee and is likely to miss the 2011 World Cup.

Hernandez tore his right anterior ligament in a match for Racing Metro against Bourgoin last Saturday and will undergo an operation soon. He should to be out of action for at least six months.

Hernandez has said that he will “do the impossible” and play at the tournament in New Zealand. The Pumas play their first pool match against England on 10 September.
