Scots flay flat Italy
19 Mar 2011
Two second half tries helped guide Scotland to a 21-8 victory over Italy in Edinburgh.
Still existing on the high of beating France, Italy were shaping for back-to-back victories, leading 8-6 at halftime thanks to full-back Andrea Masi’s score.
Scotland, however, scored 15 unanswered points after the break, including Nick de Luca and Nikki Walker’s tries in eight minutes. Chris Paterson contributed 11 points with the boot.
