@WOLFMAN21(WOLFMAN21)-3: Just like Kempson says, Australian rugby has been diluted therefore the rebels CAN be competitive in their conference. Waratahs lost to the Cheetahs at home. Reds are the only strong side.

South Africa doesn’t have enough talent for 6 teams. The two teams on the bottom of the table are South African, and if the Kings were to join the competition it would likely be the three bottom teams that are South African.

The Rebels, if anything have helped to develop the depth of Australian rugby. Players such as Vuna, Gerrard, Mortlock, Phibbs, Saffy and a couple of others are in with a shot of playing for the Wallabies.

Still remember how easily the opposition could intimidate Kempson on the field. He’d go all red in the face and look sulky. I’ve seen children with a better temperament.
