More pain for Canes – The Hurricanes have suffered yet another injury blow with centre Charlie Ngatai being ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken ankle.
The Canes are already without Ma’a Nonu, but the latest from the management is that Ngatai has undergone surgery after injuring his ankle against the Reds. He won’t play again this season.
The only good news for the Canes is that Piri Weepu has recovered and could be included on the bench when the Canes tackle the Blues.
