Vodacom cup is a step up in calibre from varsity cup.It is also a step up from the U21′s when you look at some of the players who are involved.

Only a moron would deny this.

It forms an improtant cog in the south african rugby system.

From what I understand, in football terms, it was always a major complaint by coaches in the Spanish and Italian leagues in the past that there was no second tier or “reserves” league where they could provide game time to up and coming and returning from injury players.Not sure how it works these days.

The Bulls utilized the Vodacom cup the best of all teams in SA. They have won three Super titles. The majority of their players started their senior careers in the Vodacom Cup.
