Blitzboks want strong finish
19 May 2011
Kyle Brown says the Springbok Sevens side are looking to end their disappointing season on a high.
South Africa had a slow start to the season but have improved since they won the Las Vegas leg and did relatively well in Hong Kong and Adelaide.
‘We had a slow start but found our rhythm in Las Vegas and ever since that victory, we have been playing very good Sevens rugby,’ said Brown, the team captain. ‘Our main focus will be to maintain that form and to end the season as high as possible on the log.’
The uncapped William Small-Smith has been included in the 12-man squad and will make his debut in London this Saturday. South Africa will play Fiji, Russia and Portugal in Pool C.
