Massive win for Monument

Monument were outstanding value in beating Waterkloof 30-18 in one of Gauteng’s big school’s clashes.

Both teams produced excellent play in a match that was in the balance until the final whistle. Host Monument led 23-18 with time up but scored against the run of play when the visitors lost the ball in attempting to secure victory.

The scoreline flattered Monument but the victory did not as they played extremely well to beat a very good Waterkloof side.

The victors scored four tries and flyhalf Gideon Meiring kicked 10 points.
