Craven Week selection has ALWAYS depended on (a) playing your rugby for one of the big-name rugby schools and, even more importantly, (b) having two or more masters from your school on the CW selection panel. If you haven’t got those, you need to be absolutely doubly-sensational an individual talent to even get noticed.

@keo(keo)-1: I agree with the comments about Boys High. Let’s hope the selectors take note of the result on Saturday.
What puzzles me about Affies – I agree they are the top team (schools) in the country – they only have 3 players in the Bulls’ Craven week team: The scrumhalf and left-wing as well as( I think ) the loosehead prop. Waterkloof has 14 players !!! The remaining 5 backline players as well as 9 forwards! The selectors are either from Waterkloof or they have been bribed ! It does not make sense to me. I’m looking forward to the Grey / Affies clash as well – should be a great contest.

Boys High the best team in the WC this season. Am looking forward to Affies playing Grey College on June 16. That will confirm who is this year’s best school’s side.
