Affies take on Northern Cape’s best
3 Jun 2011
After thrashing KZN’s top team Maritzburg College, Affies will travel to Kimberley to face the unbeaten Noord-Kaap this weekend.
Last weekend, Affies added a 55-7 drubbing of College to their impressive record of 11 wins from 11 games this year. This has secured them first place on the FNB Top 20 school rankings. The Pretoria-based school will now face a challenging trip to Noord-Kaap, who have been the surprise package of the season after a 12-match winning streak. Expect an enthralling schoolboy battle in Kimberley.
In other action, Monnas come off their bye with a clash against Marias Viljoen in a Beeld Trophy fixture while Pretoria Boys’ host a strong KES outfit.
Noorthvaal/Free State fixtures:
Noord-Kaap vs Affies
Monument vs Marais Viljoen
Parktown Boys vs St John’s
Jeppe vs St Stithians
Pretoria Boys vs KES
Jim Fouche vs Louis Botha
