SA Kings off to winning start

The South African Kings kicked off their Nations Cup campaign with a 31-17 win over Georgia in Bucharest on Friday.

The team, effectively made up of Southern Kings players, trailed 14-13 at the break against the Six Nations B champions but delivered a strong second half performance to seal a 14-point victory.

Outside centre Siyanda Grey was the star for the South African Kings as he grabbed a hat-trick while flyhalf Louis Strydom kicked four penalties and two conversions.

The South African Kings will now face hosts Romania and Portugal on 15 and 19 June respectively as they fight for a play-off place.
