Selborne’s clash called off

Selborne’s game against St Andrew’s this weekend has been cancelled.

The unbeaten Selborne have jumped up to second place on the FNB Top 20 rankings, only trailing to Grey College – who they drew with at home last month. They were set to face the faltering St Andrew’s, who are enduring a nightmare season, but the match has been called off because of heavy rain.

Other big Eastern Cape matches see Grey PE host Despatch while Framesby tackle Daniel Pienaar.

Eastern Cape fixtures:
Grey PE vs Despatch
Framesby vs Daniel Pienaar
Hudson Park vs Marlow
Stirling vs Queen’s
Cambridge vs Dale

The Selborne St Andrews fixtures have been postponed due to heavy rain making the fields quagmires. With regards to the rankings, Selborne has beaten Monument, Bishops and all others in the tournaments they’ve played in. You can only play those in front of you. Plus they’ve dispatched all those “weak” eastern cape sides by considerable margins.

HA HA HA HA! Nah, I think they more worried about the fields being littered with Dead Cats from drowning.

Transformation … didn’t your coach ever tell you … the bigger they are, the harder they fall. More like the harder they fall on you.

It’s not the fish afraid of the water, but the fear of the Saints that may be the real reason!!!
