KES claim double triumph

KES beat St John’s and Jeppe convincingly in a space of two days over the long weekend.
KES extended their impressive 2011 record with a 41-19 victory over St John’s before picking up 36-15 win over Jeppe on Thursday and Saturday respectively. KES have now won 12 of their 13 games so far this season.
In the Western Cape, Wynberg downed SACS 17-5 in a big southern suburb derby. With Rondebosch and Bishops ruling the traditional school rivalry this year, Wynberg have at least earned some success ahead of the Cape School derby weekend to be played at Dale this coming weekend.
In KZN, Glenwood and Michaelhouse won their derbies as they beat Westville (28-16) and Hilton (30-20) respectively. Kearsney claimed an easy 22-8 win over St Charles.
In the Eastern Cape, Selborne continue to dominate the local scene with a 42-9 drubbing of Grens. St Andrew’s’ nightmare season worsened after they suffered 23-22 defeat to Kingswood.
