Keo.co.za brings you the latest World Cup news.
Elsom ready for Wallabies warm-up – Wallabies skipper Rocky Elsom believes he will be fit for his team’s first Test on 17 July.
Elsom has had a bad run of injuries this season, that includes a six-month lay-off because of a hamstring injury before picking up an ankle injury in his comeback match for the Brumbies in May.
‘I can’t see any reason why I wouldn’t be fit for the Samoan Test,’ Elsom told The Sun Herald. ‘It’s almost been five weeks now and, for once, everything has gone to plan. I’ve had no complaints with it at all, other than the standard ones.’

@Mighty Horua(Mighty Horua)-2: Higgenbotham wasn’t as good this year as he was last year.
I would be tempted to play McCalman, or Samo at 6. Perhaps Samo at 8 and McCalman at 6. Maybe even Hodges.
The Wallabies have a lot of options at lock and in the backrow, something which they haven’t had in the past.
Have your say
