Henry slams critics - Graham Henry said he doesn’t ‘give a horse’s arse’ what people think of his decision to rest key players in the coming weeks.
The Blacks’ coach has withdrawn a number of would-be first-choice men from his squad for the weekend’s fixture against Fiji and will rotate in other Tri-Nations matches as well.
‘You can dress it up and criticise it, if you like. But the real thing is these guys just need space. Some guys have got a wee bit of space now so they can come down and build up again. Others will have that space a little bit later in the [Tri-Nations] tournament, so it’s just a matter of making good decisions around those individuals, really.
‘I know there’s a few people who’ve been commenting about the need to play your best team every week. I think just now when you’re in the environment and you talk to these players and you see it in their eyes and in their body language, if you don’t give them some space, they’re just going to die.
‘They’ll be dead men trying to play rugby and you’re just going to get a horrible result.’

Have to say that your ‘Nonu and Smith and…and…and….were out of form” justification, above, to the whole ‘injured’ topic was truly pathetic and would normally have been beneath you. Clearly you just got no little, um, indignant, in your vain effort to support Krusty. Wasted effort.
