There are only two major matches in the KZN region this weekend with Martizburg College hosting Affies and Glenwood taking on a provincial development XV.

While the other top KZN schools will enjoy a bye after Craven Week, Maritzburg College and Glenwood will provide action for the Eastern Coast locals.

Glenwood will tackle a KZN Development XV, which is a team that consists of the best talent from townships around the province. The development team is an initiative that’s been put together by the Sharks junior rugby department and the SA Legends.

College will take on Pretoria juggernauts Affies, who have only lost two games this season (against the undefeated Grey College and Noord-Kaap). Although they’re away from home, Affies will be the more confident team as they thrashed the hosts 55-7 in May.
