The top Eastern Cape clash between Selborne and Queen’s finished in a 22-22 draw.

It was a hard-fought battle for both teams. Selborne held a slender 17-15 lead at the break, but neither team could land the telling blow as the spoils were shared after the final whistle.

In other results, St Andrew’s managed to upset Dale 15-14 while Marlow and Daniel Pienaar fell to the Southern Cape’s Oakdale (14-12) and Outeniqua (16-5) respectively.
