Leopards down Pumas

The Leopards picked up their first win of the season by beating the Pumas 27-15 in Potchefstroom.

The Leopards led 24-12 at half-time with tries through wing Danie Dames, fullback George Tossel and flanker Luvuyiso Lusaseni. Flyhalf Wesely Dunlop added all the extras and slotted a penalty. Pumas remained in touch with wing Deon Scholtz and inside centre Dewald Pretorius crossed the chalk.

The second half was a more closely contested match, with a Dunlop penalty enough to secure a much-needed win for the hosts.
