Keo.co.za brings you news from the All Blacks’ camp.
SBW set to start – All Blacks assistant coach Wayne Smith says that Sonny Bill Williams will partner Richard Kahui in midfield when the New Zealanders face South Africa on Saturday.
‘Yes, I think the time is right for Sonny Bill to come into the starting line-up. He especially played well on last year’s tour against England and Scotland,’ Smith said.
‘After that we again picked him in the starting team against Wales, because we told the players beforehand that they will be rewarded if they play the best in their positions.’
The All Blacks will announce their team on Thursday.

This will still be a tough test for the Boks which is good, we need a good workout to get rid of the rust.

Continually owns best centre pairing in the world.

SBW & Kahui could make a sensational centre-combo. The dinosaurus-Bok pack will be far better for their season-opener last week tho and this match will be won and lost in the loose-fwds, where the ABs are playing an untried combination.
But SBW-Kahui is a mouthwatering prospect.

This could be a real acid test for SBW. There’s no Carter or Conrad smith. He needs to set his mark, nonu is playing phenomenally at present. Also I did not appreciate his lack of commitment and enthusiasm when doing Kapa o Pango in NZ. He needs to understand he’s playing for the ABs, not some minion team, the ABs are the most successful in sporting history. Have some bloody respect.
Have your say
