@grant10(grant10)-2: What about Deysel as cover?

I am not a fan of Johnson.

So Divvy and the fat boys continue to ignore inform Lion players, good because I don’t want them getting exposed to a losing culture … we all know how many Bok careers came crashing to an end after RWC 2003 … a similar fate awaits for many of the chosen by the fat boys.

The good news is that my eggs and tomatoes will not hit any Lion when the group stage losing Boks land at ORT.

Why call up Johnson he’s nt gonna play, it’s unfair on the cheetahs, we have brussow spies deysel and alberts available already so I don’t see the point, greedy Pdv

????Hahahaha, you dont want them exposed to a losing culture? Lol thats rich,so what have they been exposed to the last18-24 months?

So being top of the table in a diluted CC is winning culture? Hahahaha, such ripper.

The Lions are the quintessential example of diabolical losing culture…Kevin de Klerk,Manie Reynecke have done theit utmost over the years to maintain that status quo.

AJ has been woeful on defence and his ‘linking’ game has been lacking the past two games in the CC… on current form Kanko would get my nod for this role off the bench with another loose-forward in a 5/2 split…

Depends on whether Alberts is back… but loose-forwards would be Brussouw, Alberts, Spies with Deysel and Kanko off the bench… Danie back to lock either for Bakkies (if injured) or as bench option…

One could argue that they what they have in Kanko (despite having played him at freakin lock recently)!

As an aside… if Aplon get’s knocked out of the 22… Johnson keeps the POC count at 5 in the 22 for PE…

@RL(RL)-4: Josh Strauss deserves a Bok call up, no question!

Why not call up Flow instead. He should already be playing on the Flank at the moment (considering the injury to burgher)

@WP_(WP_)-9: Yeah. But I think it would be a bit unfair to call Strauss up at this stage. He won’t be chosen for the WC. But after the WC Strauss should be first choice no8 on the last 2 years form. It is due to the Lions bad play that he hasn’t been introduced yet.

Will be fun to start discussing the new bok team (post-WC) soon.

@simorf(simorf)-10: Flouw failed in his Springbok attempts… badly! Johnson hasn’t ‘exploded’ at test level yet, but he did a stable job.

@RL(RL)-4: Your Lions couldn’t do anything in the S15, now that they play against depleted Bulls / Sharks / WP and even Cheetah teams, they are “Bok” quality? The Lions play good and positive rugby in the CC and deserve to be on top, but please slow down with the acculades.
