WP fire after slow start

WP fire after slow start

Western Province beat the Leopards 49-21 at Newlands on Saturday.

The Potchefstroom-based side gave their more illustrious opponents a scare when they scored two early tries through scrumhalf Whestley Moolman and outside centre Charl Weideman, with flyhalf Clayton Durand kicking both conversions.

However, WP found their rhythm in the latter stages of the first half, with flanker Tertius Daniller scoring a try from turnover ball. Isma-eel Dollie then slotted his second and third penalties to give his side a 16-14 lead at the break.

Further tries from flanker Nick Fenton-Wells, winger Danie Poolman and replacement halfback Nic Groom (who came on for Dollie) extended the lead to 21 points going into the final quarter.

The Leopards scored their third try through wing Maritz Hoffman, only for WP to grab another two tries through prop Brok Harris and flanker Siya Kolisi.

As far as I can remember, Vigo played before the days of the WP League concept. BTW, this is an interesting link to black SA players who were sidelined.

I mean even Errol Thobias SOLD OUT to the nasty evil decrepit Dr. Craven for the sake of a few shekels of silver.. or WTF was he ACTUALLY doing wearing the beloved green and gold??

The hyenas are gathering again as a pack and are truly not ever interested in the truth. Nothing therefore can be considered constructive.

I referred earlier to animalistic behaviour of humans so it is all earned by insensitiviity of supposed ‘christians’ to innocent lives of children or much, much more. How unchristian would that be to JC Superstar?

I saw Naas play for NT “B” and was impressed by his talent as a running 10. The Brigadier destroyed that by teaching him that he was too valuable to risk himself.

Unfortunaly I never saw much of the Saru players at the time- if the names I mentioned did not make it in the SARU teams then there must have been exceptional players in those teams. I can still remember WP Federation at Newlands versus teams like Griquas and North Westen Cape – they were massacred in the scrums- hardly won any lineouts, but scored the most amazing tries running everything and from anywhere. The one day they came very short was when they tried to take on the 74 Lions at the Cape Showgrounds – one moerse fistfight that the Lions won by about 50 meters, lol.

    Have you seen S. Fredericks, C. Jabaar, H.Dollie, M.Napoleon, P. Mkata, T. Ludwaba, M. Heemro, E. Majola, N Xhoxho, K. Lentoor, G.Peters and 100s more?

The present WP coach was a rubbish sh at a bad time for rugby in P.E. even.

BTW I have not forgotten this:

    ET = Sharks

You were not even dreaming of coming to C.Town from S.Rhodesia, Rhdesia or Zims. when I knew all the W.P.s in the Cape area that even now you do not know about

Sick minds are not cleansed of racism in a thousand years or a lifetime.. the slate will have to be wiped clean before the hatred of self inflicted racial hatred gets wiped out of a marginalized hatred fed sick psyche..!

See your knowledge as such is even written incorrectly here:

” still remember WP Federation ”

It is W.P. League (not even 10 clubs) in a parent body called S.A. Federation (of Loriston- Pres.) which did not even add up to a total of 20 clubs and only in the W.Cape and Boland areas. Then you had the national ethnic black Leopards who comprised even less than 8 clubs in an even smaller area.
And these two mon key teams you dressed up and showed to the world so dishonestly..

NO two totally separate entities with a late link only since -95/96/97? now. The concept is foreign to my C.T.

Morne, Carel, Michael and all the big DuPs and many many more -played for the blue white hoops of W.P. but not for the Stormers ever.
The stars of yore earned the respect and sometimes infamy(Burger snr.) and not ever the yuppies of today

The one undeniable difference is that Stormers is all about money and even today W.P. has not much if any say in that.
So I am happy to keep my WP jersey even from Bo-Kaap but have never had or wanted any Stormer jersey.

For me it is all really about the corrupt administrators and the sick concerns for status and more by too many and some of those are ‘verkrampt’ even today.

Shout out to the peripherals around you (Keo types her) to shut up. Noise is always damaging to the hearing mechanism.
