France ring changes - Coach Marc Lievremont has made numerous changes to France’s team to face Canada at McLean Park, Napier.

Hooker William Servat, flyhalf Francois Trinh-Duc, wing Vincent Clerc and veteran Aurelien Rougerie who moves from centre to the wing, are the only other survivors from the starting 15 that beat Japan 47-21. Lievremont intimated his captain Thierry Dusautoir was being rested not punished for an ordinary performance against Japan.

Imanol Harinordoquy is dropped to the bench, Louis Picamoles replaces Raphael Lakafia at No 8, while Fulgence Ouedraogo and Julien Bonnaire step in for flankers Dusautoir and Harinordoquy.
