Lawes cited - England lock Courtney Lawes will face a disciplinary hearing for an alleged incidence of foul play.

Lawes has been cited for an alleged breach of Law 10.4(a) punching or striking (with the knee) during the pool match against Argentina on Saturday. He appeared to intentionally drive his knee into Argentina hooker Mario Ledesma’s head and if found guilty could face a lengthy ban.

The case will be heard by the independent judicial officer Terry Willis in Auckland with a date and time to be confirmed.

Major changes for Scots -

Scotland coach Andy Robinson has made 12 changes to the Scotland team for Wednesday’s match against Georgia in Invercargill.

It is Scotland’s second World Cup match in five days, forcing Robinson to be careful in his management of his players. Prop Allan Jacobsen is the only player retained from the pack that played the opener against Romania. Sean Lamont switches from inside centre to left wing and Max Evans stays on the right wing. Rory Lamont comes in at fullback for Chris Paterson, who is named on the bench.
