Heinrich Brussow will play in Japan after failing to make an impression on Bok coach Heyneke Meyer. The Volksblad newspaper reported that Brussow will take up a club career in Japan after the Cheetahs complete their Super Rugby commitments. The nature of his Japanese club contract is such that he is not available for national selection, as it is with all the South African players in Japan. He will continue to play Super Rugby for the Cheetahs. Meyer has not rated Brussow since taking charge and the player has been described as a penalty liability and not a good enough all-round player. It ... Read Article1 Jun 2013
The Bulls are South Africa's best team and they proved it in Bloemfontein. The Cheetahs have been outstanding all season and they were as good on Saturday night as they have been at any stage. Still it wasn't good enough to beat the Bulls, who won 30-25 after leading 30-13 with 10 minutes to play. The Cheetahs finished brilliantly and deserved the bonus point, but the Bulls consolidated their top two league placing thanks to an imposing first hour. Pierre Spies was impressive as team and pack leader, Arno Botha was ever present and the No 9, 10, 12 Bulls axis of Francois Hougaard, Morne ... Read Article11 Jun 2013
Brendan Venter's appointment as Sharks Director of Rugby is a good one. But the decision to end John Plumtree's Sharks coaching tenure is not. Former Springbok and Italy coach Nick Mallett turned down an invitation for the role of Sharks Director of Rugby and Venter, formerly the head coach and Director of Rugby at Saracens, will start his job at the outset of the Currie Cup season. Plumtree remains the Super Rugby head coach until the end of this season's tournament but his contract has not been renewed. Plumtree is highly rated in Europe and will in all likelihood link up with a European ... Read Article20 Jun 2013
Dan Carter is one of five changes to the All Blacks, while the French have made eight changes to the side kept scoreless in Christchurch. The All Blacks have already won the Test series after the crushing 30-0 triumph in the second Test and coach Steve Hansen will give Test debuts, either as a starting option or as substitutes, to all the uncapped players in his squad. Blues duo Steven Luatua and Charles Piutau are among the substitutes, as is Crusaders flank Matt Todd. Carter teams up with Piri Weepu in the halves and Rene Ranger finally gets a start ahead of Julian Savea. Victor Vito ... Read Article27 May 2013
Kiwi Vern Cotter is Scotland's new head coach. Cotter will only take up the position in a year's time. He will see out his contact with French club Clermont. Cotter's appointment means that New Zealanders will coach Scotland, Ireland (Joe Schmidt) and Wales (Warren Gatland). New Zealander Robbie Deans has been at the helm of Australia for the last five years and current Blues coach John Kirwan coached Italy and Japan. Kiwi coaches have also been at the helm of Samoa and Fiji in recent years. Read Article5 Mar 2013
MARK KEOHANE writes the Varsity Cup in its first year rocked. Since then it's just another professional tournament. The Varsity Cup may have the innovation of doing a few things differently, but what was supposed to be a celebration of student rugby somehow just seems like another tournament, in which the traditional power houses remain the traditional strengths in the tournament. Much has been made of the Port Elizabeth-based Nelson Mandela University display this season and equally there has been bewilderment at how poor Shimlas have been. But it seems the old one two of Stellenbosch University ... Read Article12 May 2013
Marcus Watson scored in extra time to beat the Blitzbokke in the London World Series Sevens Cup quarter-finals. The teams were level 14-all at full time. Watson's try came four minutes into extra time. England won 19-14. England had the chance to win the match with the last play of the game in normal time. They were awarded a penalty and opted to take a drop kick for goal. It missed. Watson then rounded off a move after England had retained possession for two minutes. South Africa suffered further embarrassment when they lost for a second time in the tournament to the USA and were eliminated ... Read Article8 Jan 2013
Limpopo will play in the Vodacom Cup as a separate side for the first time this year. The region, which is a sub-union of the Blue Bulls Rugby Union, has been granted a place in the tournament in its own rights to help foster rugby in South Africa’s far north. They join the 14 provincial unions as well as the returning Pampas XV from Argentina in the tournament, which kicks off in the second week of March and concludes in mid-May. The Polokwane-based Limpopo team will play in the North Section of the competition, along with the Blue Bulls, Golden Lions, Griffons, Leopards, Pumas, Valke ... Read Article19 Sep 2011

Well interesting because NZ still have to beat French in the pool stages………..assumptions not a good idea here.
In any event I still believe it is possible. The Bok always believes. Thats the difference.

Thanks Mark.
Kiss of death for the Aussies.

@coma(coma)-10: Good team Coma, but we are falling into the trap of not picking a reserve tighthead yet again.
Smit to 3 against the Aussies if needed?
Kiss our title defense goodbye.
19 Sep 2011, 09:15 am
@willievz(willievz)-14: In fact, I would split my bench 5-2 considering our competitive advantage up front:
Beast
Bismarck
CJ
Rossouw
Alberts
Hougaard
James

@coma(coma)-10:
@willievz(willievz)-15:
What about a 4-3 split, with Smit on the bench to cover Hooker and Loosehead if need be? CJ covers Tighthead. and can play Loosehead as well.
19 Sep 2011, 09:21 am
all this story is to just elicit response due to the fact that Bok supporters are on a high after this weekend and will be buoyed by Keo/Keo crew inaccuracy in prediction & analysis so far…”Ozzies WC to lose”……yeah right,a very AVERAGE Paddy side kept it very basic and mauled them period.What I enjoyed most about game what that in the first 20 or so mins Oz had reasonable parity in the setpiece but Irish didnt fall back.They stuck to their medium of attack and were determines to enforce their gameplan on Ozzies to expose their weak underbelly: THE WALLABY TIGHT 5…And they executed to perfection…To see Polotu-Nau throwing all over the place,Kepu slipping bind as well as Slipper,Alexander backpeddaling & Irish loosies OWNING McAlman & co. was a thing of beauty….
And finally to see Quade Cooper,Beale,Oconnor etc neing held up for turnovers etc was just too precious…
Boks have the pack & more importantly the BENCH to take OZ.
19 Sep 2011, 09:24 am
@willievz(willievz)-15:
No need for Butch on bench if we have Morne,Lambie & Steyn in starting XV. Butch should be played anywhere but 12….he doesnt have versatility to sit on a 5-2 bench against quality opposition.Plus Lambie/Morne are 10 options.Plus he adds no impetus to gameplan,which our bench is FINALLy doing when they come on.
Butch not a sub.Either starts or in the stands in my view.Didnt take his chance in Durban vs OZ
19 Sep 2011, 09:26 am
Don’t know whether im not insulted than shocked at Ryan’s ignorant take on how RWC2011 is playing out.
Last week i called that Ireland would beat Aus, and they did. Reason being that this Aus side isn’t yet as good as they think they are and I asked whether they had the game to escape a close one like the Boks did vs Wales, and Ireland aren’t as bad as they were made out to be.
Tipping the odds in Ireland’s favour was the Aussies believing their own hype, their inexperience in a situation like this, and all the distractions around Cooper which made them ripe for an upset.
They’ll get bullied by the Boks come QF with a fatiguing pack and key players form having hit peak vs NZ in Brisbane. They remind me of Boks of 2009 on the End of year tour, overplayed.
By the QF the Boks will be operation at 85% of their peak, and will be much too strong for them.
It’s gonna be brutal.
19 Sep 2011, 09:29 am
Anyway, how have the organisers of the tournament worked the playoffs out?
Surely, if things turn out as expected and the top 4 ranked sides finish top of their pools progress to the semi’s, you should have the no 1 ranked team facing the no 4 ranked team and the no 2 ranked team facing the no 3 ranked team in the semi’s?
That would mean that (Before the Aussie Irish game) the All Blacks would have faced the English in the 1 semi and the Boks facing the Aussies in the 2nd semi, provided results would have turned out as expected.
One upset and only 1 of the top 3 ranked teams has a chance of making it to the final? That can’t be right.
The final, whoever makes it after the Aussie/SA vs NZ semi will be a huge anti climax.
19 Sep 2011, 09:30 am
in durban we played **** and lost by what 6 or 9 points, . What is the point of these articles and tv clips when they are provided by guys who have no idea of the nature of sport and the passion of the people who play it. Ireland to beat OZ.. no way. yet they did. If there is any team to back in a world cup right now , south africa is looking strong and not only because we hammered fiji but in the context of other results with the 2nd tier and minnows playing out of their skin. these predictions are plain stupid weak journalism at the the end of the day. Having watched this world cup so far , i’d say been a rugby commentator or journalist is one of the easiest jobs in the world. They state the obvious what we all can see when commentating or make up copy just for the sake of it. where do i find intelligent rugby analysis coz it aint on this site.

@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-19:
should read MORE insulted. Think i am now that i think of it.
This WC is far from done but preperation wise PDV is leading the pack at the moment. However, the draw puts NZ in with a good shout should they play their best team through out which i doubt they will, but if they do we’ll be set for the mother of all NZ/SA clashes come SF.
Ek is moeg vir Keo se team se negatiewe kommentaar. Dit moet sad wees om so te leef.
19 Sep 2011, 09:39 am
And the team that should be feeling the k@kkest after this weekend is Samoa.
In all they let an opportunity to play NZ in the SF slip by playing an overly structured gameplan.
I backed Samoa to beat Wales, but if you’re gonna rely on structure against a well organised side you’ll have to things at speed.
Instead Samoa’s 9 laboured to get the ball out, organising his runners for too long allowing Wales to set.
What Manu should’ve been doing was quick ruck ball with their 11 (who they greatly under utilised & weirdly used as a crashball instead of putting him in space, also they overplayed the plan of using him as a dummy!), centers or loosies running hard at Wales’ 10 channel all day long.
From there they should’ve stretched Wales with their famous handling by backs and forwards and beating them with power and speed in 1 on 1 situations.
Samoa fans should really feel let down, this was their moment of greatness beckoning and their team blew it. Against Ireland in the QF they wouldve had ‘home’ support and a 50/50 chance of progressing.
Now sadly they face getting Fiji’d by the Boks if they employ this static structured game. What a shame as it would’ve been great to see them go for broke against NZ in the SF.
19 Sep 2011, 09:40 am
Morne was the biggest surprise for me on Saturday, defensively sound and generally tightening up his all round game.
The biggest disappointment for me was Spies again.
That open type of game was his for the taking, he should have dominated.
Unfortunately, as has been the case for the last 2 seasons, he battles to dominate the tackle or the collision point with ball in hand.
The first time I saw him in the second half was when he gave away a penalty in the dying minutes of the game.
When Matfield comes back, we’re going to struggle domintating the rucks again. He has become relatively soft in his old age but is indespensible at lineout time.
Good thing John Smit is hitting rucks again like he used to seasons ago.
19 Sep 2011, 09:43 am
@mshiniwami(mshiniwami)-17: i’m still looking for our Melbourne friend Bryce_in_Oz, he’s been missing in action
ferris, o’brien & heaslip were massive
19 Sep 2011, 09:46 am
@John Galt(John Galt)-26:
Yip, Barney’s work rate on Saturday was good.
10 tackles in 50 mins before he was subbed. Seeing that the ball is in play for about 42 mins in an 80 min game, that’s about a tackle every 2.5mins for ball in play.
Bismark is still a better hooker, but its good to see Smit upping his intensity and contribution again.
19 Sep 2011, 09:47 am
@John Galt(John Galt)-26:
To be fair Spies had some strong carries and his support lines were superb with him almost always being on the shoulder of the player when the Boks crossed the adv line.
His defense wasn’t bad, but i agree he needs to be more agressive and with his confidence growing he’ll get there.
19 Sep 2011, 09:50 am
@John Galt(John Galt)-26: we did not watch the same game, Bobby Skinstad commentated how good Spies was , maybe you should change the channel commenmteting for you
19 Sep 2011, 09:50 am
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-29: Agreed
19 Sep 2011, 09:51 am
@Kietzphat(Kietzphat)-28:
It’s really sad to see rugby journalists/experts not seeing PDV’s planning coming to life.
John/Spies & Du Preez form will return by the last pool match. This Bok side came into the tournament undercooked on purpose with an eye of hitting their peak in the SF.
Our starters will suck the life out of any pack by the last pool match, with our bench killing them in the last quarter.
Why isn’t any of the scribes in SA, Aus or NZ picking this up?
19 Sep 2011, 09:53 am
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-32:
Everyone is still calling for Bismarck, Alberts & Hougaard to start. They won’t, not unless there are injuries.
They will be the poison on the Boks’ arrow in this tournament.
19 Sep 2011, 09:53 am
Kiwi weather getting to Reyhan.
Pessimist.
19 Sep 2011, 09:55 am
@Kietzphat(Kietzphat)-16: Yes, using Smit for 2-1 cover is another option, and in fact one I preferred before this tournament as it would allow us to go for that 4-3 split.
However, Steenkamp and the Beast are both world-beaters at current and one of those on the bench, particularly in tighter games where your props are more active in the tight loose, is the way to go for me.
@mshiniwami(mshiniwami)-18: Fair point, I would be happy for JDV or JDJ on the bench in his place, but would still prefer him at 10 in big knock-out games if M.Steyn gets injured during the game. He can close down a game in supreme fashion, and you need that type of player on a bench together with guys who can up the ante.
19 Sep 2011, 09:57 am
If our lock injury situation improves come QF time, and if we settle on a loose trio combo, and if we continue to play Steyn-Steyn-Fourie in the midfield, and if we don’t pick up any more serious injuries (and none of this seems too far fetched), there is absolutely no reason we can’t beat Aus and NZ in consecutive games. Pay no attention to the Profits of Doom here on keo.
What?
Did I say Profits? What could I have been thinking?
19 Sep 2011, 09:58 am
@Dawn(Dawn)-34:
Seems it’s just a bit unfashionable for many SA and rugby journo’s around the world to give the defending champs their due and deserved respect.
The Champs are here, only the rest of the world doesn’t want to admit this, which will be there downfall.
19 Sep 2011, 09:59 am
ja ryan, seriously buddy?
do you know how much rugga the aussies have played?
they will be out on their feet by the 1/4s and do not have old wise heads to fall back on.
the boks will be hitting their straps much like Smitty is just beginning to show form and the comments about him are all of a sudden tapering off lmao!
i think we are better off facing the aussies as they are nowhere near as fresh as the irish.
19 Sep 2011, 10:00 am
@Transformation(Transformation)-27:
Hahahaha Yep….His 2 loose forward bench etc counted FOR F*CKALL on Saturday…
Healy at LH for Ireland was immense, 23 yrs old….Not an ounce of fat in that build for prop forward….Awesome performance by the big fella,modern day prop.
19 Sep 2011, 10:00 am
The biggets problem was JdV in backline, hope they keep Frans there
19 Sep 2011, 10:01 am
@mshiniwami(mshiniwami)-39: gotta say i have been impressed by jannies work of late, what say you mshini (always ask the fatties is my rule, us backline salad eaters are no experts)
19 Sep 2011, 10:02 am
@willievz(willievz)-35:
Yes, only change on the bench for the big games would be CJ coming in on the bench.
JDV i’m afraid will have to be on standby duty for the remainder of the RWC. F.Steyn is a better defender, runner and distributor and Lambie at fullback gives us a good thrust as he attacks space and this will give our wings (see JP on the weekend) much more opportunity to come into the match.
19 Sep 2011, 10:03 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-41:
Agreed, i mentioned last week kudo’s to him for becoming such a reliable player.
19 Sep 2011, 10:06 am

We’re definitely on the same page
The Aussies are a bad mix of overplayed undercooked players, their WC is all but over.
19 Sep 2011, 10:06 am
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-44:
overplayed AND undercooked
19 Sep 2011, 10:08 am
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-43: ja, and the beast was mal when he came on, scrumming seven kinds of kuk out of the poor fijian.
its really awesome to have a bench like we do, its funny that ryan and keo and jc dont seem to recognise this fact?
19 Sep 2011, 10:10 am
Danie was great at 5 not at 4 , so he is better to replace Vic than Bakkies, Alberts / Muller would be better for Bakkies
19 Sep 2011, 10:10 am
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-45: well i dont know about over but i think they will be far more nervous than our lads about the impending 1/4 final.
maybe not?
but horwill looked like a mentally broken man in the presser.
19 Sep 2011, 10:13 am
This website has really become a joke. How can a South African writer make such comments after the performance we saw on Saturday. Pathetic…
19 Sep 2011, 10:14 am
A strong bench will win the WC , we have the best,
Beast, Alberts, CJ ,Danie, Hougie, JdV, Bismark
19 Sep 2011, 10:14 am
I would say it was Spies best game of the year so far, but he could still improve alot.
Im am not Danie Rossouw fan, but he had a big game against fiji. My only concern is that he misses way to many tackles, especially in the first 20 mins where he missed 5 takles putting the boks under pressure.
The Boks are on the up, but it doesnt seem to be spotted by these so-called journos on this site. Why so negative?
19 Sep 2011, 10:15 am
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-44:
The Aussies are a bad mix of overplayed undercooked players, their WC is all but over.
eish… big words those!
remember they won us on our home soil…. so what does that make us?
19 Sep 2011, 10:16 am
@Transformation(Transformation)-12: This is exactly the kind of writing this website has lowered itself to. Don’t know what happened, but seems like Keo wants to be controversial.
19 Sep 2011, 10:16 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-46:
That will be the difference between the defending champions and the pretenders in this tourni, PDV has stated this repeatedly that’s why players performing on the bench won’t be promoted unless there are injuries and these players know their roles that’s why each time they come on they play like caged up animals let loose.
@rangerman(rangerman)-48:
The Aussies’ legs simply won’t last, remember they’ll be under immense pressure and scrutiny for their last two pool matches and the minnows both have good packs and they’ll attack them there. Aus will win but there might be casualties.
In the QF we’ll do what France did to us on end of year tour 2009, send us home with bloodies faces.
19 Sep 2011, 10:17 am
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-54:
Rather send THEM home with bloodies faces
!
19 Sep 2011, 10:17 am
I think Auz should be more worried than the boks come QF. The boks bench is too strong for them, i think that is where we will win the game
19 Sep 2011, 10:25 am
@Staal(Staal)-52:
Staal, our preperations has been spot on so far.
Remember our first choice team didn’t tour during TriNations.
That first game on homesoil we were still early in preperation mode, if you think back PDV even taking off Brussow with the game in balance. That was the plan, to give Ratel a hit out and take him off. The result didn’t matter as PDV has always had an eye on the Cup.
The Aussies beat us and that was good for them, remember they played their best team throughout and in Brisbane they peaked in that first half, running the AB’s off their feet.
The problem for them is not so much as peaking at the wrong time but rather their inability to sustain that level of performance because of the load of rugby they’ve been playing since EOYT2010.
Similiar to the Boks in 2009 we peaked when we beat Aus in Aus, but than we had just enough in the tank to sustain it to beat NZ in NZ to take the final.
Then we went on tour and our performances dipped because of fatigue. Injuries followed because of this and we had to rebuild through 2010.
The building will stop come SF in this Cup, our players will be as close to their peak as they were in 2009.
19 Sep 2011, 10:27 am
@Staal(Staal)-52: cmon staal, our lads hadnt played in 8 weeks.
thats the point isnt it?
we WERE undercooked, they ARE overcooked.
they are big words i agree but though i respect the aussies, i dont think we should fear facing them in a 1/4.
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-54: ja, as chris says, our bench may prove to be the difference.
gotta go make the moola, have a good day!
BOKKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
19 Sep 2011, 10:28 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-48: He certainly did look broken mentally.
The Aussies have their own issues to address.
The Deans-Giteau issue will still be pressing on the players, as well as the Elsom-Horwill issue.
19 Sep 2011, 10:29 am
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-57:
@rangerman(rangerman)-58:
guys – no problem. Just wanna say let’s take it a game at a time please….
19 Sep 2011, 10:33 am
If SA plays its best team that is with Steyn at 12, Hougaard at 11, Bismarck at 2, I am extremely confident that we’ll beat Australia. But yes, with Smit and JDV who miss 10 tackles a game and who destroy all our ambitions on attack, we have no chance.
19 Sep 2011, 10:41 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-58:

Im so glad that Keo are not backing the Boks. They backed Aus and see whats happened, they called for Butch and see what happened. On and on the kiss of death goes
19 Sep 2011, 10:43 am
@Staal(Staal)-60:
Exactly what the Boks are doing I believe, if you hear the talks in the media NZ & Aus are already in the final
!
@Pirlet BEL(Pirlet BEL)-61:
JS/Spies/Du Preez/Habana will start in the big games. PDV wont change that, the powerplay bench is a big part of our strategy this year.
Only headache for Div now is the form of F.Steyn at 12. The Boks backline looks like a completely different beast with him there. Unfortunately for JDV his WC curse will continue.
19 Sep 2011, 10:50 am
Ryan, you must be talking through your ar$e again, coz your breath smells bad…
Are you then by defintion saying that Aus have a better chance of going all the way after losing to Samoa and Ireland recently. So, you believe Aus have what it takes to win 2 big ones in a row, but SA not? Not cool, man.
Au contraire, my friend, Aus depend on too many things going their way, ie, not a single injury among the forwards. SA, on the other hand, have the depth to compete even after 3 or 4 big injuries.
19 Sep 2011, 10:50 am
I said this on another thread, but I think this is very relavent to this one.
The team should be at full strength against Samoa. A nice hard game game before Aus, great prep. And then Aus will again be great prep for the All Blacks in the semi, and off course, the All Blacks will be the ultimate prep for the final! I have a great feeling about this RWC. Things are working out nicely. I am not worried like other people about the “hard road” , I embrace it. This time, if the Boks win the RWC, there will be no whining that we did not play Aus or NZ. Well I hope they will finally realise that we are worthy Champs
19 Sep 2011, 10:52 am
@capebull(capebull)-23: Is jy pistoff omdat ek Spies uitlaat?
19 Sep 2011, 11:03 am
@MG(MG)-66:
We’ll play our best team vs Samoa, PDV has said on numerous occassions he wants his first team on the park to gain as many minutes as possible.
I think with our performance on the weekend it has given him an unexpected luxury of resting a few key players since the team is slightly ahead of schedule in terms of overall cohesion.
I’m not saying we were perfect, but they were better than expected to the point where they themselves were suprised. This would’ve instilled great believe in the squad who’ll now fully understand Div’s vision.
19 Sep 2011, 11:30 am
i@Helen(Helen)-65:
I also don’t get the logic being applied by some of these journos
2 days ago the boks were going to beat Ireland and lose to NZ in the semi
now since Ireland beat Aussie – the boks will lose to Aussie in the quarters ????
isn’t it logical to assume the boks should beat Australia if they were going to beat Ireland?
its like no matter what happens the boks should lose so where does it end?
According to keo and friends if the boks win that game against Aussie they will lose to the AB’s in the semi – if the boks win against the AB’s they are certain to lose in the final… if the boks win the final they are will definitely not be able to defend the title in 2015
19 Sep 2011, 11:36 am
Boktillzero, brilliant post. Ryan has NO clue how to analyse this RWC. Maybe he should go against his “Gut feeling” everytime, he might end up being a great rugby writer?????
19 Sep 2011, 11:46 am
Ryan – were we watching the same game? Boks are now STARTING TO PEAK – any fool can see that; Fiji captain – who was on the receiving end says they are the team to beat now – and Australia will be a lot more worried about us than we will be about them.
For all the lead writers on this blog the glass is always half-full – my cousin tells me that despite top running side Fiji restricted to 3 points “Boks weren’t tackling” and Ryan – despite 49 points on board “Boks lack killer instinct” – when anybody could see it was heroic defence from Fiji that prevented the score being +70 … and now Jon saying they are undercooked …
I give up … let me tell you the whole nation of NZ is suddenly quite worried and that tension will be transmitted to the All Blacks … and traditionally they are not very good at handling it …
Go Bokke – Saturday proved you’ve arrived – Frans Steyn is sensational and Sean Fitzpatrick says he would pick Bismarck first and only in World XV and then select the rest around him … we’re in with a great shot now and will cull the Aussies for sure, no question about it.
19 Sep 2011, 11:48 am
Ryan, you’ve got no idea man.
What are these things that must go the Springboks way? What bounce of the ball?
All we need to do is pitch on the day. The Springboks are a more physical and more experienced side then Australia. If the Boks defend the way we all know they can, Australia haven’t got a hope in hell.
And the difference for the Springboks now? Schalk Burger. Look at his performances the last 2 games. Play like that against Australia and they’re going to have a very very VERY hard time.
Australia are the ones that will need luck.
19 Sep 2011, 11:56 am
@mshiniwami(mshiniwami)-62: @rangerman(rangerman)-58: something joel stransky asked the “panel” on Masterplan was “is jannie scrumming in”
meyer, coetzee grudgingly said yes, as the evidence in the clips was there for all to see. he might get pinged by other referees. good runs from him, beast, guthro & bismark.
the frontrower who was missing in action in terms of carrying the ball was smit!
19 Sep 2011, 11:59 am
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-72:
You’ve backed Schalk to do the job from at 7 from the beginning, the way he’s popping little passes when on the backfoot, or even taking it flat on occassion has been a revelation.
His physicality on attack and defence has always been there, only thing i don’t like is him going in with his butt?! lol this usually causes him to go to ground with no hope of going over the adv line. Other than that his combo with Brussow has given us a new dimension.
19 Sep 2011, 12:02 pm
@Transformation(Transformation)-73:
Come on Transformation, give Smit some credit. His workrate at rucks were good and his support of the ball carrier around the fringes allowed us quick ball.
A much better game from JS.
19 Sep 2011, 12:06 pm
gees, lot of blokes here jumping the gun thinking Aussie will be a foregone conclusion for the Bokke..
youve won 1 game from the last 6 against them…
they know how to beat your team, and being a young team they will not run out of puff like so many are hoping..
good luck okes, youll need it for that 1/4..
19 Sep 2011, 12:12 pm
@willievz(willievz)-9: Thank goodness.
19 Sep 2011, 12:17 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-48: Yup, the traditional Aussie cockiness got its comeuppance… Ireland showed an Emperor with no clothes and that on any given day in the World Cup each nation is at least competitive and no Nation will bendover for another… Except a Kirwan coached Japan 2nd team for the “Mighty” ABs…
19 Sep 2011, 12:19 pm
We might have a great back-up pack ……..But …if Brussouw is injured we are a gona . He is without doubt imperitive to our winning the 1/8 and 1/4 . Skulk is brilliant but sadly Spies is nowhere .He is always running away from the contact point , and just can’t read a game to be in the right place at the right time .
19 Sep 2011, 12:20 pm
@mshiniwami(mshiniwami)-62: Now thats a blaady good team selection… I personally would swap F Steyn for Nonu, the Irish laaitie for M Steyn, and Traille for Beale… But marginal. Good one.
19 Sep 2011, 12:25 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-76: yea, how dare they believe that their team can win. they should all be like Ryan and just sit in the corner with their arms folded like the grumpy kid in class because they now have to face the Aussies and are sure to lose. you Kiwi trolls mock any signs of belief that Bok supporter have in their team, and in doing so you inadvertently display your own arrogance in that you can’t fathom that any team could be confident when they don’t have the same sterling results as the ABs. i’ve known a few Kiwis over the years, but i’ve never come across the likes of you, BP and co, but i guess every country has their rotten apples.
19 Sep 2011, 12:26 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-76:
Not jumping the gun at all. The sad thing for Aus is they won’t have the reserves to deal with the Bok bench come that last quarter.
If they could’ve somehow found a way to overcome Ireland the way the Boks did against Wales, they could’ve paced themselves and with the easier route could’ve snuck in to make the final.
But this trip-up has effectively knocked them out as they won’t last the distance vs an improving Bok outfit.
19 Sep 2011, 12:29 pm
@Sean(seanbokpool)-79:
You can say that for all teams. If NZ lose Carter or McCaw they’re in trouble, Aus lost Pocock and Moore and struggled.
All the teams need their key players fit to win this thing so you can’t use that against the Boks.
19 Sep 2011, 12:30 pm
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-75: yeah against FIJI, that’s like giving pats on the back for Northampton beating the Valke.
19 Sep 2011, 12:31 pm
@mshiniwami(mshiniwami)-62: @Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-80: Here is my team of the week:
1-Steenkamp
2-Smit
3-Du Plessis
4-Bakkies
5-Rossouw
6-Brussow
7-Burger
8-Spies
9-FDP
10-M.Steyn
11-JPP
12-F.Steyn
13-Fourie
14-Ndungane
15-Lambie
No bias, of course.
BOKKE !!!!!!!!!!
19 Sep 2011, 12:32 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-80:
Sexton? He was the only guy in the Irish team who looked like he wanted to lose! Had a very average game, especially at the start. Morne deserves it given his performance against Fiji.
And I’d include Schalk and give him the best player of the week award
19 Sep 2011, 12:33 pm
@fantasticbarnsmell(fantasticbarnsmell)-81: a few examples of “believe in their team ” rather arrogant IMO, but hey, each to their own..
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-72: “All we need to do is pitch on the day. The Springboks are a more physical and more experienced side then Australia. If the Boks defend the way we all know they can, Australia haven’t got a hope in hell.”
@J.B. Cowper(J.B. Cowper)-71: “we’re in with a great shot now and will cull the Aussies for sure, no question about it”
19 Sep 2011, 12:33 pm
@willievz(willievz)-85: Hehe… The impish coach Willie at work
19 Sep 2011, 12:36 pm
@Transformation(Transformation)-84:
Still, in a RWC match Fiji always come out all guns blazing and JS kept up with the pace, that’s been one thing he has been lacking before the tournament.
He’s not there yet fully and I dont think the coaching staff expected them from him, but be sure he’s performances are improving steadily and by the QF he’ll be a menace in the tight-loose.
Also, the timing of Bismarck coming on has been excellent. With 35 minutes to go he’s simply too much for a tiring opposition pack to handle.
19 Sep 2011, 12:37 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-86: Drop goal Sexton… Wanted to lose? Huh? Yes, he missed kicks but overall was better than given credit for.
19 Sep 2011, 12:38 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-87:
Arrogant? I’ve been saying it all year. I’m giving them a chance… I just don’t think they’ll cut it, with rugby being a contact sport and all.
19 Sep 2011, 12:39 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-86: Close one between Incredible Schalk and O’Brien, but O’Brien shades it due to Aus been the oppsition… Schalk will be best blindsider for many more games before this tournament is over.
19 Sep 2011, 12:40 pm
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-89:
I don’t know man. I thought they’d have been better off starting O’Gara. Sexton just looks really unsure of himself. Hope he comes right because he’s their hope for the future it seems. Wonder what happened to the other guy, I think his name was ‘Paddy Wallace’.
19 Sep 2011, 12:40 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-91:
1 win from your last 6 games against Aussie, including a loss in 2009 when you had your full team available..
but yeah, as your words state, Aussie havent got a hope in hell…
19 Sep 2011, 12:41 pm
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-89: Agree 100% with you and like your coining of the phrase “power bench”.
Cage them, then release them.
By the time they take the field they are so hungry to play and their presence will reenergise their peers.
Just imagine the mood of the opposition when they see a fresh Bismarck, Beast and Hougaard running up at the same time…
19 Sep 2011, 12:46 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-94:
Figured out your best backline yet?
Time is running out.
19 Sep 2011, 12:46 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-94: deans is 2 from 13 against the all blacks, do you expect australians to cower and fawn towards the ABs?
why only include the loss to australia in brisbane when we klapped them twice that year @ Newlands and Perth? hehehe
19 Sep 2011, 12:49 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-94: TINKER, Taylor, Soldier, Spy… has Ted found out your best run on side…
Or will Sunny Bill be the Super Sub, running on at flank or eight on a field near you soon…
19 Sep 2011, 12:51 pm
@Transformation(Transformation)-97:
we will see the AB top side this weekend, and I hope that it will remain the same team from here on in, but one never knows with the Cartel…
@Transformation(Transformation)-97: of course not, but I see a lot of calls about you guys already being through Aust, as I highlighted above… far be it from me to suggest that it wont be an easy game for you guys… alright then Trans, so youve won 3 from 8 games against them since 2009… happy now? my point being they have beaten you guys more than you have them recently, but according to many Aust DONT have a hope in hell…hope your team feel the same way…
19 Sep 2011, 12:52 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-94:
A loss in 2009 when we had our full team available? So losing to Australia in a one-off test with a strong line-up means you are done for? Then the All Blacks might as well quit now buddy.
As for strongest line-up. We had Ruan Pienaar at fullback and Odwa Ndungane on the wing. So we lost in Brisbane? We still went 5-for-6 in that Tri Nations, beat the All Blacks 3-times in a row and Australia twice.
19 Sep 2011, 12:53 pm
As kak praat ‘n siekte was…..
19 Sep 2011, 12:53 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-98:
All Blacks will choke against Australia or SA, of that I am 110% sure.
Mark this post.
19 Sep 2011, 12:55 pm
@willievz(willievz)-96:
Apparently the best backline could now feature SBW on the wing potentially.
They’ll have a lot of time to look back on it and wonder while at home watching the Boks play in the World Cup final.
I’m thinking Henry and co. will stick with Cory Jane. They’ve got a weird obsession with his chip-and-chase tactics.
19 Sep 2011, 12:55 pm
@willievz(willievz)-102: Have done. Well and truly MARKED!
19 Sep 2011, 12:56 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-100: really? are you saying that team in 09, to borrow a BigHit euphemism, “wasnt your strongest team” ?
since then, youve beaten them ONCE in 5 attempts, losing at home even…
the result is not a foregone conclusion, and in the last two years theyve had your number…
but hey, I’ll take great delight in reminding you IF you guys do lose to them…
19 Sep 2011, 12:57 pm
@willievz(willievz)-102:
Agree man. This All Blacks team isn’t a World Cup winning team. They’re average.
And to think that Henry and Hansen actually said that it’s a good thing to lose 2 tests before starting your World Cup campaign. How can it ever be a good thing to lose?
All Blacks supporters (Ryan Vrede etc.) are the ones who need to start facing reality. They aren’t nearly as good as they’re made out to be.
19 Sep 2011, 12:58 pm
I hear all the excitement, I’ve even got butterflies as well but then I say, it was Fiji. Smit, spies, and Danie russouw played well these guys have struggled immensely over the last few seasons. though I don’t care much for stransky, he had a point jannie du plessis was scrumming, this afforded spies plenty of room at the back to make strides. Danie russouw continued to miss tackles, however, he had bullocking runs, his try near the end jogging past 4 Fijians spoke volumes of where Fiji was towards the end. I’m not taking away from a convincing performance from the boks but this is Fiji. The boks should always molest them.
19 Sep 2011, 13:01 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-105:
And nowhere to be found if we beat Australia and New Zealand I’m guessing.
It was a near strongest team, but we went 2-for-3 against Australia, including winning in Australia!
2010 was a bad year for us, but so was 2009 for the All Blacks who got beaten three times by the mighty Springboks (when we had our strongest team, yes). By your theory that means we are a better side?
19 Sep 2011, 13:03 pm
Australia won’t be under prepared for the knockout stages, with Moore and pocock back they’ll be more in sync, Jim Williams really needs to earn his pay check, that pack needs a slap from 1-8. Against the boks in Durban and the ABs in Brisbane they brought a hard edge to their game that laid the platform for both their wins. Now they are all soft again! There’s no way deans, nucifora, and Williams will allow that to happen again!
19 Sep 2011, 13:05 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-108: nah, I dont disappear when my team loses Hendrik, unlike a lot of Saffa supporters..
HG
Tacitus etc…
“in 2009 we didnt have our strongest team, in 2010 we did and we all know the result”… its such an easy cop out excuse that one hendrik, as Ive just shown….
19 Sep 2011, 13:07 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-107:
Could say the same thing about Japan (a second-XV at that). The **** you would think are a much less physical side then the Fijians, and pretty much guided the All Blacks to the tryline. Then we get Jeremy Paul telling us that the Japanese are actually a better team then Fiji so New Zealand were better on the day
What a joke I know. Might have played for Australia but obviously hasn’t lost that Kiwi mentality.
19 Sep 2011, 13:07 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-108: 2 for 3, winning in Aust?? what year was this?
pardon… in 2009 you beat them twice at home and lost in brissy.. in 2010 you beat them in Pretoria, they beat you in brissy and Bloemfontain…
2011 we know they beat you twice, in Durban and Sydney..
so WHEN did you beat them in Aust?
19 Sep 2011, 13:08 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-105: Poops, dont you know when its time to stop disparaging the Boks and their supporters… like when NZ is host of a fine WC and when the AB’s are overwhelming favourites to win the tournament… not to mention the fact that your SH “rivals” lose to Ireland or just stumble to a win over Wales or blowout a win over ill-prepared “minnows” Fiji… Yours and Panty’s continual bitterness now just exposes you fools.
19 Sep 2011, 13:09 pm
@willievz(willievz)-95:
Our bench really is our strength and i can’t understand why the scribes are failing to recognise this. Our starters would be on par with most other teams’ but our subs are really a notch above the rest.
19 Sep 2011, 13:09 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-110: hg is a rhodesian,so he doesn’t count.
19 Sep 2011, 13:11 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-111: funny Japan winning the Pacific nations cup this year huh? against Fiji, Samoa, tonga etc…
they lost to Samoa, beat Tonga and Fiji…
must have been the Fijians “superior physicality” huh? eish…
19 Sep 2011, 13:11 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-110: I “disappear”? Ja, Pooper, please continue exposing your true self… an unmitigated cnt much like Panty
I don’t have to aid anymore in this endeavour you and Panty are achieving all on your own.
19 Sep 2011, 13:11 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-107: Excuse me but let me put this in perspective for you – a handful of weeks ago New Zealand played Fiji. On a like for like basis they also didnt play all their best players but in majority the teams are pretty equal – we had 6 better players in certain positions on Satruday and New Zealand had 6 better players the rest more or less on par with each other. New Zealand beat Fiji by 46 points. We beat Fiji by 46 points. Right up to the last whistle Fiji were playing their hearts out. They are rough and physical and even Brussouw mentioned this. If you look at stats Fiji had almost equal stats in terms of possession, penalties, turnovers, territory etc. These guys were not Japan. Lets face facts. They were very much in control of play for large facets of the game. We caned them by the same margin as the Blacks did with virtually equal strength teams.
The Bok display on Saturday wasnt flawless – just like New Zealands was a bit rusy on that day. But the fact is they boys played damn well with conviction and passion. I havent seen that in over a year. In perspective they played exatcly the way the Blacks did. It was a very convincing performance and the proof of this will be when Fiji face Wales. Expect it to be a very closely contested game. This Fiji side made errors but theyre no pushovers.
19 Sep 2011, 13:11 pm
france and kiwi final.this will be a great advert for world rugby.
19 Sep 2011, 13:11 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-110:
Kiwi mentality. When the All Blacks win they are obviously the best, but if they lose it’s forgotten about.
I look forward to your excuses… whoops I mean explanations as to why the All Blacks didn’t win this World Cup at home.
19 Sep 2011, 13:12 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-112:
We did beat Aus in 2009 away, with our backs showing they can run. It was the second match on tour we lost, then we went to NZ and clinched the title on your patch.
That Bok team peaked vs that game in Aus where we were all over them from the go. Our performances declined on that end of year tour, we picked up injuries and 2010 we struggled due to that.
But now the foot is on the other foot, with the Aussies being in the position we were with their team having peaked vs the AB’s. That’s why we can’t see them beating us in the QF.
19 Sep 2011, 13:12 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-115: You, Pooper and Panty mates? Exactly appropriate
19 Sep 2011, 13:13 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-116: Oh and was that a full strength Fijian side they played? Where some of the Fijian players not still playing club rugby in Europe?
19 Sep 2011, 13:13 pm
Ok – i got to go…
but just some advice…
We only played Fiji.
The Wallas & the Ab’s a friggen streets ahead of us imo…….
so let’s keep our heads down and work hard to give them a go cause on any given day any one of those 3 can win each other….. and that’s the nature of the WC. It’s not a series….
19 Sep 2011, 13:13 pm
Who is that tool on keotv ?
19 Sep 2011, 13:14 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-116:
Did Japans second-string XV win that tournament? Puts it in perspective a little doesn’t it.
19 Sep 2011, 13:14 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-116: Just a quick question – did those islanders have all their European and S15 players… Just a question… Before I “run away”.
I do however understand if you had difficulty in reading the team lists…
19 Sep 2011, 13:15 pm
@Staal(Staal)-124: Yes
19 Sep 2011, 13:15 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-113: what bitterness, Im just saying a lot here think the Bokke have ALREADY beaten Aussie, and Im just pointing out that recently theyve been the better team between the two…
trying to get you guys to err on the side of caution, but hey, go ahead… the fall is so much further when you think its already a DONE deal…
funny, Saffa supporters were in deep dismay after the Wales game, then beatinng an average Fiji (who lost to Japan this year) and suddenly your team is going to walk over Aust??
ok then, if AB supporters said that we’d be ostracised on this blog for saying so… double standards anyone?
19 Sep 2011, 13:16 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-112:
We beat them in Perth 2009. Check if you don’t believe me
19 Sep 2011, 13:18 pm
Hendrikp: the ABs took nothing out of playing Japan B. It’s hard to assess from a technical perspective where you are, from scrums to lineouts and breakdowns. The ABs put 70 odd on the Fijians just before the trinations, but it does not mean much, they were not tested in any department. The Aussies though were tested and failed dismally, they’ll be far better prepared than the ABs come knockout stage. The boks as well as they came within a whisker of losing to wales in a very tough match.
19 Sep 2011, 13:18 pm
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-121: my mistake, it was in perth, but thats a home game for you guys anyways
19 Sep 2011, 13:19 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-129:
South African supporters weren’t in dismay. There were only a handful on here who actually made much of a fuss about it (like ashampoopaloo). Most agreed that we did well to win, despite performing terribly and that if we can play like that and still win, we’ll be a lot better when we actually perform.
You’re always going to get supporters who see the glass as half empty. Don’t throw us all in with them though.
19 Sep 2011, 13:19 pm
@Slumtown(Slumtown)-123: pre-wc games doesn’t count for much.oh,i see some fijians are still playing for their clubs in france.poor fijian team=poor bok team.
19 Sep 2011, 13:20 pm
@Staal(Staal)-124: the point Im trying to make, but obviously because its come from a kiwi they all think Im “having a go at SA”..
precious arent they?
19 Sep 2011, 13:22 pm
As for Ryan – jy praat kak boet. It all depends on who De Villiers starts. If Habana and Jean de Villiers copme back into the team it does look grim – if we continue with the team that beat Fiji we stand a very good chance — we just need to get rid of that idiot Ruaan Pienaar and with Matfield back it looks even better. Australia failed to win a proper test rugby match and thats exactly what theyll be facing in the quarters. Our forwards were massive on Saturday and I cant see Ireland besting them on the day – ditto Australia. Especially if Pocock is out. A lot of what happens depends on the fitness of some players such as Carter and McCaw and more importantly Read. Anything can and will happen. These Boks played with composure and passion on Saturday. If they keep on this track they can take anyone. They beat New Zealand a few weeks ago – comprehensively not by a point. They can do it again. Many of the senior All Black players are in the same boat reagrding form and being the best in their game no longer. Ali Williams, Brad Thorne, Mils, McCaw. Ditto Oz with Rocky Elsom. Other players havent been that impressive of late – namely the Franks Brothers – they are going to regret leaving Wyatt Crockett out of the team. If Slade has to play they are in deep trouble. All the tinkering and mixing and matching combos for the All Blacks is also going to bite them on the ***. many things can happen and if the Boks keep playing the way they did on Sat they can take anyone. Anyone on the given day.
19 Sep 2011, 13:23 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-129: nobody believe Fiji are the best team in the world, they are just pleased that the Boks put in a decent performance for a change… why is this such a bitter pill for you to swallow? it has literally nothing to do with the ABs. BP was on here seconds after the win banging on about the same “Japan beating Fiji” nonsense, it’s really pathetic.
19 Sep 2011, 13:24 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-129:
“trying to get you guys to err on the side of caution” – Pooper wants the best for SA supporters and is showing the way…
Actually don’t give a fark what you want. Lost on me, especially considering yours and Panty’s recent behaviour… No credibility as a result at all….

Slumtown: the welsh will put Fiji away by some way, the two contentions for wales in their was SA and then Samoa, the rest of the chaps will be a formality. My argument is that Fiji and Japan, though energetic don’t pose a structural impediment to either the boks or ABs, thus it’s hard to assess development of the scrum, lineout, and the breakdowns. These three are the cornerstone aspects of rugby today. I think the boks will have more of a test against Samoa then Fiji, however, they did face up to wales which was no walk in the park. With all this said, the boks and wallabies are better prepared now for the knockout stages then the ABs, they’ve had real tests, one each.
19 Sep 2011, 13:25 pm
Dumbest coach in the World Cup Award goes to: Marc Lievremont.
And Divvy hit the nail on the head with the ‘haka overload’. It’s way too much. You’d think everyone doing random hakas and having a laugh would be disrespectful. And ‘flash mob hakas’ must be the stupidest thing ever. The Haka should only be performed on special occasions, such as welcoming ceremonies or before an actual game, and definitely not in shopping malls.
19 Sep 2011, 13:28 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-129: Its not that they beat them Poophead – that is a given. Its the way they beat them. At least when we beat them we kept them scoreless. You have to admit this was a very cohesive game by the bOks the likes of which we havent seen in months. If youre talking about being honest give credit where its due. our defense was solid (even with a lot of missed tackles – which is something they have to work on), we scored tries from some good running rugby, almost every player in the team showed improvement and more commitment and passion. It looked like a completely different team.
19 Sep 2011, 13:29 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-132:
LOL, but seriously Bok supporters have a right to feel optimistic because we can see that our team is shaping up in context of the challenge that lies ahead.
We aren’t writing anyone off. except Aus
They blew it, just like Samoa did.
19 Sep 2011, 13:29 pm
Sick of Habana being criticised for giving it 100%. Not his fault he’s not getting the ball. Maybe Hougaard would be a smarter choice because he’s a different sort of player – not really a winger and runs different lines on attack etc.
But that doesn’t make Habana useless. He’s every bit as good as Digby Iaone (who I rated as the best winger at this competition before his injury), but he doesn’t get near as much ball. Everything Habana does comes down to him coming in looking for work, and he is probably the best at pulling-off the rushing defense out of any winger in the world.
19 Sep 2011, 13:29 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-131: 70 odd??? Youre talking absolute sh!t3. They beat them by 46 points exactly – same as we did 2 days ago.
19 Sep 2011, 13:30 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-135: you spend your life on this blog belittling Bok supporters and trying to take away any joy they get from supporting their team, so you have no right to suddenly turn around and say they’re being precious. you’re entire reason for being here is to make people feel worse about their team, you bring nothing positive to this site.
19 Sep 2011, 13:32 pm
@Slumtown(Slumtown)-141:
My feeling exactly.
In the NZ vs Japan game i actually said the AB’s did good, did what they had to do and they could take heart from the performance of Ellis at 9 he could solve their problem there.
Also Kahui has stepped up just in time, and Kaino will be up there with the best performers at this Cup.
19 Sep 2011, 13:32 pm
And I seriously think some of the fat kiwis (read: Weepu) along with some of the geriatrics (read: Thorne) are going to pull a poepstring or dislocate a tongue performing this modern day Andrew Lloyd Webber haka. It’s all big and theatrical and “scaaaaary” but it’s not worth the risk. One of these days they’re all going to retreat after the show and Big Brad is going to remain there, stuck in his wide-legged “I poop on your porch” stance, unable to straighten up.
19 Sep 2011, 13:32 pm
@Slumtown(Slumtown)-144:
Score was 60 – 14. I’d have won by 20 if it meant not conceding any tries. All Blacks opened it up well in that game, but they didnt really ‘dictate’ play.
19 Sep 2011, 13:33 pm
Hendrikp: the haka is central to pacific island cultures, it’s not up to puffy to decide when it’s enough. He’s a cheeky one that Giuseppe!
19 Sep 2011, 13:35 pm
@>^..^< katman(katman)-147: Hehehe
19 Sep 2011, 13:35 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-139: Agree 100% with what you say. I also think Samoa is going to be a huge test for us. But I also think the Welsh have their moments and that first game against us was one of them. It all needs to be seen in perspective. I dont think Wales will do quite as well as we did especially with a Fijian team smarting after that loss. I think they thought they had a sniff with us after the last WC. So the next 2 weeks will be telling. Its anyones game basically is what i´m saying. i just dont buy into the fact we are has beens as Ryan wants us to believe. Danie (an old man by their standards) was huge on Sat, Smit (who I dislike) even had a decent game. I cant see it being a problem for them – Schalk another one – he is playing like the Schmulk again – the guy is a one man demolition machine again. Matfield has had a bit more rest – I think he will pull through well. Fourie du preez is showing slow signs of improvement. etc etc.
19 Sep 2011, 13:37 pm
@fantasticbarnsmell(fantasticbarnsmell)-145: well said man. well said.
19 Sep 2011, 13:38 pm
Slumtown: score in Dunedin was AB 60 – fiji 14.
19 Sep 2011, 13:39 pm
@fantasticbarnsmell(fantasticbarnsmell)-145: I give as good as I get on this blog…
@Slumtown(Slumtown)-141: IT WAS FIJI… against a much better organised defence (i.e Wales), you guys backline didnt look at all cohesive…. lets see if they can do the same against Samoa huh?
19 Sep 2011, 13:39 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-149:
NZ isn’t pacific island. We’re not talking about the Sipi Tau and all that here. I’m talking about the Maori haka
19 Sep 2011, 13:41 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-148: exactly they beat them by 46 points which is exactly the same margin as our game on Saturday. Highlighting my point that Fiji are not as weak a team as being made out here. if they played Japan tomorrow who knows – I think theyd probably win. Not dissing Japan – theyve been punching well above their weight. But them winning the Asian cup isnt the be all and end all. Also IRB ratings is suspect – how many tests have the Fijians played and how often did they have afirst string team?
19 Sep 2011, 13:41 pm
Any exit for the Boks is premature.
19 Sep 2011, 13:42 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-153: exactly 46 point margin. just like I said.
19 Sep 2011, 13:43 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-154: yes buddy read my previous posts and stop being silly now. We also had Jean de Villiers and Habana playing against Wales. Perhaps thats the difference?
19 Sep 2011, 13:43 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-154: we shall against Samoa – youre going to be eating your own poop. Mark this post – we shall speak again.
19 Sep 2011, 13:46 pm
Hendrickp 155: and how is that different?
19 Sep 2011, 13:48 pm
Anyways,
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here guys.
Ireland still needs to play Italy.
France still needs to play NZ.
England still needs to play Scotland.
19 Sep 2011, 13:49 pm
Slumtown 158: all I’m saying is that whether it’s Japan or Fiji, the top teams can’t lift a lot of info from those games, it’s great for confidence but outside of that you can’t really draw much.
19 Sep 2011, 13:49 pm
@Slumtown(Slumtown)-159:
Those 2 aren’t the difference. The difference was an all-round performance by the team. We were very undercooked against Wales and were sorta screwed at the breakdowns.
Habana is good enough to start.
Jean probably should sit out considering the performance of Frans at 12. But I wouldn’t really panic if he started at 12.
If everyone plays with the same energy we did on Saturday, we’ll be just fine.
19 Sep 2011, 13:49 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-161: NZ is 3 islands in the pacific, so not sure what hes on about to be honest…
19 Sep 2011, 13:49 pm
what’s up with saffas today.first we had willie asking bloggers to mark his post.
now we have slumtown asking to do the same thing.earlier on we had hg,although tecnically he he is not a saffa,asking us to mark his post that wales or ireland will end up in the final.just shows what a victory over fiji can do for the mentally challenged
19 Sep 2011, 13:51 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-161:
They aren’t doing any of the Pacific Island dances all over the place. I’m referring only to the Haka. The rest of those dances are only done before the games, nowhere else.
All the teams participating at this World Cup can’t walk into a room without having to stand and watch someone doing a haka. It really is overkill.
New Zealand doesn’t fall under the Pacific Islands either
19 Sep 2011, 13:53 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-166: Here is another post for you to mark.
South Africa.
England
Playing in the final.
Teams who know how to compete at WCs.
SA have won 2 WCs.
Eng have won 1 WC.
NZ, on the other hand, have merely won 1 invitational trophy.
19 Sep 2011, 13:55 pm
@willievz(willievz)-168: “NZ, on the other hand, have merely won 1 invitational trophy.” Eish
19 Sep 2011, 13:55 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-165:
Ok my argument is flawed. It is a pacific island yes. But living in NZ, how often do you hear people refer to NZ as part of the ‘Pacific Islands’?
Rugby terms that usually refers to teams like Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, Cook Islands etc. Not New Zealand.
19 Sep 2011, 13:55 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-166: And…?
19 Sep 2011, 13:59 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-163:
You can take something more than that. NZ can take heart from Ellis’ game at 9, Kahui on the wing and Kaino’s storming game taking into account Richie’s lack of usual impact and Reid’s unavailability.
They need to pick a settled side and give them an extended run.
The Boks can be pleased with JS keeping up with the Fijian pace of play and work in the tight-loose, Spies looking stronger, Lambie’s solid outing, Frans’ game at 12 and overall cohesion.
Things like M.Steyn’s linebreak or Jannie’s carries or Brussow’s chip kick is all good and fun, but we don’t base our positive outlook on things like that. No, we see a pattern developing and guys coming into form.
That’s why we’re optimistic because this team will get better.
19 Sep 2011, 13:59 pm
Poppa: to differentiate the haka from other island calls to war makes little sense.
19 Sep 2011, 14:00 pm
@willievz(willievz)-168: south africa?were they not worthy of an invitation?
19 Sep 2011, 14:00 pm
Hendrickp: how is NZ not a pacific island?
19 Sep 2011, 14:02 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-171: Neither is Beast, Skinstad, Teichmann, Garvey, Ian Mac, Mordt and many more “technically Saffas”…? Truly a Pooper and Panty class poster deluxe
19 Sep 2011, 14:03 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-175:
Kiwis don’t identify themselves as ‘Pacific Islanders’ is what I should have said. Whereas other countries like Samoa, or Tonga do.
19 Sep 2011, 14:06 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-173: agree totally… no one ever moans about the other “haka’s”..
its only ever NZs that is a problem… do you think hendrik knows that the WC is being played in the home of the haka? probably not…
19 Sep 2011, 14:10 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-178:
The Fijians, Tongans & Samoans don’t do it at every street corner either.
I could care less about it being the home of the haka. Fact is it’s overkill. It gets boring. Few players on twitter apparently also saying how there are haka’s everywhere they go.
Save it for special occasions. At the moment it’s far far too much.
You weren’t one of those ones who thought John Key was in the wrong for not greeting people in Maori at the World Cup Opening Ceremony were you? Should’ve done it in Chinese as well then.
19 Sep 2011, 14:10 pm
hendrikp has joined the group of perpetual liars here on keo.he might just turn our heads into believing that nz is situated in the atlantic ocean.
19 Sep 2011, 14:12 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-179: its a unique and significant way for kiwi fans to show their support,
did we all have to put up with those anoying vuvuzelas at the soccer WC?
whats the difference?
19 Sep 2011, 14:12 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-178: It might have something to do with the fact that you’ve turned it into an airport kiosk trinket. A curio. As I posted on another thread, if I were the Boks, and we faced them in the semis, I’d have a handful of coins in my pocket to toss at their feet when they’re done.
19 Sep 2011, 14:13 pm
Wpstormerbok 172: I’m not convinced that one can take that much out of it. Ellis needed a run, I’m not a great fan if his but he’s the best distributor that AB’s have at 9, however, that game is not the acid test you’d want for your 9, though Japan has great structures, they don’t have the individual players to apply the necessary pressure to test Ellis or kahui. The boks faced a disorganized Fiji, with no set piece. As I said I think a better test will be Samoa, this could provide somewhat of a gauge. Even with a marauding forward pack Fourie du Preez was not that convincing. It’s good have a proper run out but you must contextualize it.
19 Sep 2011, 14:14 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-180:
I’ve been living in New Zealand for roughly a decade, and I’ve never hard any kiwi call himself a pacific islander. Let’s leave it at that because you’ve clearly got an agenda.
19 Sep 2011, 14:16 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-181:
Is there a difference between blowing on a vuvuzela and doing a haka? Are you for real?
The Haka is a war dance. It’s supposed to mean something. Blowing on a vuvuzela was a bit of fun for the supporters, not only South Africans but everybody that attended games.
19 Sep 2011, 14:17 pm
It’s actually quite sad, but it is indeed a victim of overkill. I used to love watching the haka, I was even a bit piissed off the last time I saw it live in CT and everyone drowned it out with those annoying little bluddy drums.
But now it’s like watching a tightly choreographed episode of Strictly Come Dancing.
19 Sep 2011, 14:17 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-183: Um, WPstormerbok did contextualise it.
19 Sep 2011, 14:20 pm
@>^..^< katman(katman)-182: Id really like the Bokke to do that… would be like calling you guys ********, that same sort of level of respect…
so you guys think our cultures non important and something to laugh at? . Id love to see one of you do that to someone performing the Haka at the time, Im sure they would welcome the spare change…
19 Sep 2011, 14:23 pm
Hendrickp: we both agree that new zealand is in the pacific ocean and that it’s an island, whether people in NZ call themselves pacific islanders immaterial. Once again, the haka is a core part of their culture whether you like it or not, I’m certain they don’t really care either way. My understanding it’s a form of respect to opposing teams, and is being utilized as a cultural focal point for this WC in NZ. Chief come home, there are a few vuvuzelas waiting for you! lol
19 Sep 2011, 14:24 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-181: I think you’ve unwittingly put your finger on the problem there.
No, it isn’t much different to soccer fans blowing a vuvuzela. It should be, but it’s not.
It should be respected, revered, reserved for special occasions. It should be treated like a cultural heritage. But instead it’s become an “Olé, olé, olé”. A Mexican wave. A blast on a Vuvuzela.
19 Sep 2011, 14:24 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-186:
When a bunch of kids can chat on facebook and arrange to do it in a shopping mall so they can put it on youtube for a little attention… that tells the whole story.
I enjoyed it more when it was rarely done. Now I can’t go anywhere without seeing it.
Sort of like chocolate. I love having a chocolate bar every week or so, but if I had a couple shoved down my throat everyday I’d get sick of it.
19 Sep 2011, 14:25 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-174: No, South Africa and their “Springboks” were not worthy of an invitation.
Unfortunately so for New Zealand, who therefore cannot call themselves a World Cup winner.
19 Sep 2011, 14:26 pm
This marketing overkill of the haka can be compared to the South African way of marketing black culture.
From orchestras to choirs to wine festivals, chuck ‘Soweto’ in front and you are guaranteed instant success home and abroad.
19 Sep 2011, 14:26 pm
And there you have it. Pooper’s silly, unfounded bitterness at all things Saffa exposed… again. Luvvingit
19 Sep 2011, 14:29 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-189:
It’s a form of respect from local maori when they do it at welcoming ceremonies yes.
But when randoms get together to do it at a shopping mall, I can’t agree that it’s respectful to anybody. If anything it’s a nuisance.
19 Sep 2011, 14:29 pm
hendrickp might be losing his knickers when the boks klap the namibians 100-0 on thursday.can’t wait to see what lies he will be spinning to make us believe that the boks are the gladiators of the universe.the victory over fiji should be seen as just a game against a mediocre team.the way saffas go on after that victory is like scots,accept for mr.salmon, believing that they are truly a free nation.
19 Sep 2011, 14:30 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-188:
Relax pops, it’s not a cultural thing, it’s an overkill thing. Like Scotland and bagfarkinpipes and tartan, blame the politicians for stuffing them down everyone’s throats and playing on the image for financial gain.
They’d be fools not to, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t get a bit too much.
19 Sep 2011, 14:30 pm
@willievz(willievz)-192: why?
19 Sep 2011, 14:30 pm
Hendrickp: whomever dislikes the frequency at which it’s done is one thing but since divvy has been made an honorary Maori I thought he’d refrain from making such a public statement shooting it down. It’s only a few more weeks, and the boks will be out of there, they just have to grit it out.
19 Sep 2011, 14:31 pm
I bet their shopping mall security staff even perform a haka at the start of each shift.
Hang on, we can ask Poeps.
Poppa, do you guys begin the morning shift with a haka? Or do you go straight from parade to van?
19 Sep 2011, 14:31 pm
@>^..^< katman(katman)-182:
Haha spot on.
@poppa69(poppa69)-188:
You might beat us in a rugby game, but I’d advise not getting into a fight with Bakkies, Schalk, Bismarck etc. They’ll fark you guys up good and propper.
19 Sep 2011, 14:32 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-196:
Yawn, you need a new style fuckwit.
19 Sep 2011, 14:33 pm
gees, guess all the whiteys are getting upset because the brown fellas are doing a war chant..
if you dont like it, dont watch it…simple..
19 Sep 2011, 14:33 pm
Heavens game: I disagree with his context, I believe both wins were a foregone conclusion against Japan and Fiji.
19 Sep 2011, 14:34 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-163: yes and I agreed
19 Sep 2011, 14:34 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-201: Bakkies? the bloke who picks on little fellas, often from behind..
who were his last two victims?
Aplon and Cowan?
gees hes tough alright… why hasnt he ever done it to Thorn for example?
19 Sep 2011, 14:34 pm
@>^..^< katman(katman)-200:
19 Sep 2011, 14:35 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-183:
Of course in context of the match yes. Like vs Tonga Cowan persisted and failed with his box kicks whereas if he got it right he could’ve built on that.
He also overplayed the box kicks where he could’ve taken their disorganised defence on more so even though it was only Tonga Cowan’s own performance wasn’t as neat as the coaches had hoped for.
So in that context Ellis’ service and decision making was good, albeit vs Japan.
Kahui was good vs the Boks already in PE, Kaino has been immense in the AB jersey so to see them keeping at that level regardless of opposition is good for you guys.
That’s the same for us with the trio of JS/Spies & Du Preez’s personal performances coming good. Spies didnt run through their whole team on his own, but he did have some strong carries.
JS didn’t do Bismarck turnovers but he worked relentlessly and looked like he was hungry for more when he did go off.
Du Preez’s class is starting to shine through and if you’re a Bok fan you’ll see it, if you’re not you’ll deny it.
19 Sep 2011, 14:36 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-164: lets hope so – I find it odd that Storrmers struggle scoring tries with the same 2 individuals in the same 2 positions. One game with F Steyn at 12 (his best position btw) and even bloody Odwa on the wing and we look better? Agreed everybody across the board played better but for the first time in a long time the backs looked dangerous again.
19 Sep 2011, 14:36 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-203: i don’t know why they are getting so upset.back in the good old days they had their own rituals …tossing blacks out of high-rise buildings or pushing them down staircases.all nations should have a ritual that they indetify with.
19 Sep 2011, 14:37 pm
Hey HG, I thought you’d be over in Basildon.
Not like you to give up the opportunity to have a legal pop at a few pikey’s and earth warriors
19 Sep 2011, 14:37 pm
@>^..^< katman(katman)-200: thats just pathetic katman..
looking for me to bite are you? is that how you get your jollies? you guys all wonder why I say the things I do, its because of comments such as yours..
19 Sep 2011, 14:37 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-206:
Maybe because Thorn doesn’t have small man syndrome.
19 Sep 2011, 14:39 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-203:
We’d love not to watch it. Unfortunately that would mean wearing a patch over both eyes because it’s EVERYWHERE.
19 Sep 2011, 14:40 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-166: speak for yourself
19 Sep 2011, 14:40 pm
@>^..^< katman(katman)-200: I have a vision of that move, Paul Blart – Mall Cop in my head now….
19 Sep 2011, 14:40 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-212:
You are just living proof that Kiwis, when irritated, lose their minds and cool heads far too quickly.
Relax for a change.
19 Sep 2011, 14:42 pm
Jockbock 193: hehehe. I agree there’s too much black culture marketing and we should have parity and market English and Afrikaans south African culture to the overseas market.
19 Sep 2011, 14:42 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-181: hahaha well said.
19 Sep 2011, 14:44 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-189: @poppa69(poppa69)-181: chaps, take what katman says at #190 and digest it properly without personalising the issue.
i enjoy the haka, i was excited to see it live here in PE and got it on video for posterity BUT the way it seems it is done by random people in malls, streets and everywhere, surely stands to dilute the “specialness” of the ‘routine’.
to liken the haka to the vuvuzela is to cheapen the war cry, the vuvuzela is a frivolous plastic horn fans take to the stadium to cheer their team on when one of their players either pulls a fancy move or they’re dominating the opposition or have scored, it has NO significant meaning.
it is similar to those ratchet-looking things some fans carry to rugby games in NZ or the guys that wear buckets on their heads in Palmerston North or some place like that.
19 Sep 2011, 14:44 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-210:
Hehe, you’re trying hard today Capo hey?
I can imagine you this morning during breakfast.
Hmmm, what to do today?
Drink 3 bottles of Virginia? Nah, did it yesterday.
Slap the wife about a bit? Nah, did it last night.
Go do some bodybuilding? Nah, those weights are too heavy.
Pomp the neighbours poodle? Nah, prefer the Jack Russell down the road.
Go onto Keo and try and pick a fight. Helll yeah….
19 Sep 2011, 14:44 pm
@>^..^< katman(katman)-200: probably the same as your father saying that you are not a good afrikaner if you don’t toss a black person through a window of a high-rise building or push one down a staircase back in the good old days of apartheid.
19 Sep 2011, 14:44 pm
@Slumtown(Slumtown)-209:
Habana is a winger. End of the day he relies on his inside backs to get him some good ball, and at the Stormers they never gave it to him. The 4 tries that he scored were oppurtunistic. Him looking for work. He deserves credit for that. If he’d played against Fiji he’d also have had a good game. Unfortunately for him he didn’t.
Jean does need to step up yes. I think his days are numbered considering Frans wants to play 12 and played well. Sort of feel like Jean needs a good rest, because he tries to push things too much now. Needs some time away and come back to a game-plan that revolves around moving the ball around rather then always being a crash-ball type player. He’s definitely not useless though. End of the day they conceded far less tries also.
19 Sep 2011, 14:44 pm
Hendrickp 195: I’ve got my own private views on the haka being thrown at every single airplane that arrives in NZ but hey it’s their way. You just have to suck it up during the WC and then things will be back to normal.
19 Sep 2011, 14:45 pm
Hohoho….
19 Sep 2011, 14:45 pm
Lionel cronje signed with bulls for next year as well… Plastic outfit
19 Sep 2011, 14:46 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-199: Especially after promising to behave – however I must say I think the poor fool meant it in a positive way implying it was something sacred and to be respected and not used as a pop culture virtual trinket.
19 Sep 2011, 14:46 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-212:
Seriously, you don’t think that is funny???
Wow, I’d say taking yourself and everything else so seriously is why you have so many fights.
Don’t you have stand up comedians in NZ?
19 Sep 2011, 14:48 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-228: nope, about as funny as saying all SA duchys rape their farm workers…
is that funny?
19 Sep 2011, 14:48 pm
Good thing these Keo twiddle de dees are punting up Aussie and AB’s chances – I would be extremely worried if they were punting ours… Best way to keep it nice and tidy.. have Keo and his mob of PdV haters picking EVERYONE ahead of Boks and we might actually show the schmucks who takes the cake in the end..
19 Sep 2011, 14:49 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-203: f off mate – usual bs banter about all and sundry being racists because theyre South Africans. It has nothing to do with brown fellas as you so pathetically put it.
Typical english colonialists exploting the natives sacred customs for commercial use more like it.
19 Sep 2011, 14:49 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-221: seeing that you are the only one responding ,that’s probably what attracted you to this great country.your a rse probably got to sore after all that english activity so you guess by heading south you will at least be on the other side of the action.
19 Sep 2011, 14:50 pm
How about a match-up
Beast vs Tony Woodcock = Probably an even fight.
Bismarck vs Mealamu = Bismarck would have to find somewhere to hide the body.
Jannie vs Franks = Franks probably, but his brother wouldn’t let anything happen to him
Bakkies vs Thorn = Tight contest. Bakkies pips it, but probably gets disqualified.
Victor vs Williams = Victor to wipe that smile off his face
Brussow vs Richie = McCaw too much of a poofter to fight back
Schalk vs Kaino = Not even a contest. First round knock-out.
Spies vs Read = Probably about even because Spies is a little soft.
And then in the backline we’d bring guys like Butch James & Francois Hougaard. Sonny Bill Williams wouldn’t get any more fights after this. Then again when has he ever had a genuine fight? Besides of course 43 year old gospel singers who are on a sickness benefit.
19 Sep 2011, 14:51 pm
@Slumtown(Slumtown)-231: if the shoe fits mate, pretty obvious seeing as its only the NZ haka that is such a bone of contention…
funny that IN NZ they see fit to do an impromptu haka, by the reaction here youd think they were doing it IN SA..
19 Sep 2011, 14:51 pm
@wpstormerbok(wpstormerbok)-208: du preez is tentantive and seems to be protecting his ‘reconstructed’ shoulder. he got bumped early in the game and he let got of the ball like a girl. he hardly EVER takes the ball into contact from ruck, always kicking or passing.
19 Sep 2011, 14:51 pm
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-230:
Correct. And that’s how its looking in the rest of the rugby world with everybody seemingly punting Aus to get past us in the QF without having to break a sweat.
That’s why I’m saying the Aussies have fallen for the media hype and will succumb to it like the AB’s in 2007.
19 Sep 2011, 14:52 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-229:
Is it a joke? I don’t get it. Not very funny i’m afraid, bit sick actually.
But with the overkill of the haka being discussed and security guards being ‘warriors’ of a sort, that is very funny. I’m still laughing at it.
If you want to take offence, you will of course, but fark me dude, there’s difference between joking and the kind of malice that Capo spouts in every post.
Precious, much?
19 Sep 2011, 14:54 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-210: yes like Ozzies taking kids who looked abit too white away from their Aborigine families? Or driving them into “homelands” in the middle of the desert with nothing but booze for company? Or maybe making a ton of cash of their poor dumb tribal artists who didnt know what an internet connection was. Yes we Saffas are the most racist of the lot arent we? You lot only respected the Maoris in the end because they were warriors who gave as good as they got. And still you shagged them too. Took their land just like us. It s ajolly good old English colonialist tradition isnt it? Who of those 3 countries have handed political power back to the original inhabitants of the land? At least we didnt abduct black babies and try and make them whiter. WTF? But no its always us dirty Saffas – the neegah haters. You keep on believing that mate.
19 Sep 2011, 14:54 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-229: THE FUNNY THING IS THAT AFTER THE SYSTEMATIC RAPE OF THOSE FARMWORKERS THEY ACTUALLY TRIED TO CONVINCE THOSE COLOURED PEOPLE THAT THEY SHOULD STAND TOGETHER IN THEIR FIGHT AGAINST THE BLACKS BECAUSE THEY ARE MORE OR LESS SIMILAR.SOME DESPICABLE PEOPLE THOSE AFRIKANERS.
19 Sep 2011, 14:55 pm
@Transformation(Transformation)-235:
Think that was more than a bump, looked to me like the tradiational shoulder charge from Fiji.
I agree he needs to start taking the space around the fringes on more and I believe he will, especially after coming through a game against the brutal islanders.
It’s a game by game thing for him, he’s pacing himself nicely and will be confident enough to take hard contact after the next two rounds. Maybe even sooner.
19 Sep 2011, 14:55 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-237: keep laughing Jock…
be a different story if they were jokes about Scotsman Im sure..
so fark off…
19 Sep 2011, 14:56 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-232:
Carry on, your patheticness in it’s desperation is actually quite funny to observe.
19 Sep 2011, 14:56 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-239: Havent met one yet I like, seems their children (aka Katman, Jockbok, Hg etc) have got the “family values” well and truly ingrained..
just cant help themselves these “superior” white dutchies…
must be all their machine guns that make them so tough huh?
19 Sep 2011, 14:57 pm
Wpstormerbok: this year like Fourie du Preez, Cowan has really struggled and I’ve mentioned it numerous times on this blog. My central point in order that the two of us don’t belabor this point is that one’s response of both the Fiji and Japan games must be measured, it’s critical that the AB’s if France puts forward their A team show how they’ve grown and if their in form. I think the boks need to demonstrate where they are against Samoa, tactically if I was the boks I’d drop that game. I just don’t think the boks and AB’s were tested in core areas.
Jerome kaino has been growing for a number of years, I’ve thought for sometime that kaino and Juan smith are the two top blindside flankers around. Fourie du Preez I thought would have a more commanding game especially with the bok pack being so dominant, so he’d have more room and time to execute but I didn’t see that.
19 Sep 2011, 14:57 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-212: Poppa 3, Poppa 3, kom in.
19 Sep 2011, 14:59 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-229:
Wow. Because that’s not racist.
If someone has a go at you, don’t take it out on other Arikaners.
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-239:
End of the day we’re all human. Sure many did this. But what about those that didn’t?
Should we all now stand together against the swart gevaar because of farm murders?
Maybe you should go talk to somebody because you clearly have some issues you need to sort out. Talking about it might help you deal with them.
19 Sep 2011, 14:59 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-222: Spoken like a true tikkop.
Anyway, I’m sure my dad tipped your dad well enough.
19 Sep 2011, 14:59 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-241:
I can tell you a few if you want Pops….
For example, did you know copper wire was invented by two Jocks fighting over a penny?
Fark man, no one is laughing at your culture. Relax a bit.
19 Sep 2011, 15:00 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-234: What utter bs – so you are implying that other Pacific Island nations are not brown fellas as you so aptly put it? So we dont have an issue with their war dances because? And we do have issues with the Haka because theres maybe 6 brown fellas out of 12 performing it? You dont even know what youre saying.
19 Sep 2011, 15:01 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-246: arent you all the same, you afrikaaners?
19 Sep 2011, 15:02 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-239:
THAT’S IT MAN, THAT’S FUCKINNG IT. I’VE HAD ENOUGH.
I’M SO ANGRY I’M PUTTING MY CAPS LOCK ON.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. DON’T MAKE ME USE BOLD AS WELL.
19 Sep 2011, 15:03 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-243:
Considering how many Afrikaners are in New Zealand, you better get used to us quickly. We come over here to work, so morons like you can earn minimum wage working at an unneccessary job created by a Labour Government who looks after the uneducated, or sit on the dole. Either way, we could care less whether you like us or not.
19 Sep 2011, 15:03 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-243: if you look at jockbok’s taliban outfit on facebook you can see why he believes he is such a warrior on keo.co.za.his afrikaner father in law had successfully indoctrinated him.
19 Sep 2011, 15:04 pm
Transie, slumtown, and hendrickp: all I’m saying is that the WC is in NZ, they believe throwing the haka around is a further provides this WC with a real NZ accent. Puffy recently was made an honorary Maori, he may feel that he has been out haka’d and it’s not even the knockout stages yet but he should not have had that outburst in a public forum. It comes across in distaste.
19 Sep 2011, 15:05 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-252: shame you bring your racist attitudes with you… did you have to leave SA quickly so as not to be caught and punished for your crimes against humanity?
complaining about people IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY enjoying and displaying their culture is a bit rich..
harking for the good old days of yesteryear are we?
19 Sep 2011, 15:05 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-244:
That’s what i’m saying as well, you can’t judge a player completely against lower rated opposition but there is still a job that needs to be done so in the context of that and an eye of how these players can improve I feel Du Preez did well.
He’s not at his best yet and he wasn’t expected to be at his best but his improvement is in line of what his coaches would’ve expected from him.
Of course we as fans can’t wait to see him snipe again or do the unexpected by stealing down the blind side when the opposition is sleeping. Those things will come later in the tourni.
19 Sep 2011, 15:06 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-250:
Backs up me theory on racism in New Zealand. One of the most racist countries in the world, they just don’t like to admit it. Only have to look at how Chinese people are treated. They get intimidated by you lot because they speak with an accent? In the mean time they’re well educated and drive your economy. New Zealand would be nowhere without immigration.
19 Sep 2011, 15:07 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-253:
Haha, you’ve tried to find me haven’t you?
Tell you what, you give me your name and I’ll send you a friend request. See if you’re right
19 Sep 2011, 15:07 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-254: Agree again Mpundulu. Out haka´d? lol Personally I dont care how many hakas they do this tournament. its their day let them have it. Moaning about it by bloggers here and PDV is just silly. Theyre showing a lot of pride in Maori culture which is cool. I say Haka all you like. Brown fellas or no Poopstah
19 Sep 2011, 15:08 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-250: your government should really address that -afrikaner problem’ in your country.that afrikaner ‘things’ will make nz less attractive to visit in future.
19 Sep 2011, 15:09 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-257: racism in NZ? must be all the many SA immigrants, they seem to have experience and a thirst for it.. having of course escaped the country where they used to be able to practice it with impunity…
A SA talking aout another country being racist…. now thats sick…
19 Sep 2011, 15:09 pm
I see that neither Poppa nor Tecumseh have any decent retorts to the posts I made in response to the racism. How odd.
19 Sep 2011, 15:09 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-255:
Haha how was that racist? I simply called you a moron.
And NZ being uneducated has nothing to do with me. Not my fault that chilren aren’t disciplined at an early age, and large amounts don’t even finish NCEA L1. Then you send them to Weltec where they copy the answers into a text-book and hand them a certificate, pretending that makes them more employable.
19 Sep 2011, 15:09 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-255: I fear you may be heading for one of your episodes again. The signs are all there.
19 Sep 2011, 15:10 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-261:
Do I need to pull up that article about Auckland Chinese saying they were going to bring gangs over to protect them?
19 Sep 2011, 15:11 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-203: Brown fellas? You mean savages with cannibalistic recent heritage doing the long pig macarena…? Correct.
19 Sep 2011, 15:11 pm
@>^..^< katman(katman)-264: nah. not at all… like I said, throw some coins at someone doing a haka next time, prove youre as tough as you like to think you are rock spider…
19 Sep 2011, 15:13 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-255:
I’m more then happy to see the Haka, when it’s done before rugby games or at welcoming ceremonies… but like I said, this is overkill. Don’t put words in my mouth, because I never said that I have a problem with it being done.
No other country in the world forces performances like that down your throat everywhere you go. Simple as that. The novelty has worn off.
19 Sep 2011, 15:14 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-266:
I thought you’d be over at Basildon? It’s ‘free hit a hippy day’ you know.
19 Sep 2011, 15:14 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-265: simply sick of you trying to paint nz,a great bastion of democracy,with the same afrikaner racist brush.just a pity that black saffas could not bring gangs over to protect them against your people.
19 Sep 2011, 15:15 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-268: like I said, no one is forcing you to stop what youre doing and watch them are they? keep walking and dont pay it any attention… is it that hard ???
19 Sep 2011, 15:15 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-268:
Fark, you want to see Edinburgh and bagpipes mate
19 Sep 2011, 15:15 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-269: Huh? Dry your legs too, skirtsy…
19 Sep 2011, 15:17 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-271:
Still have to listen to it!
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-270:
And you live here? You’ve experienced it yourself? Tell you what, why don’t I arrange a meeting for you with some Chinese people in Auckland? They can tell you all about how welcoming NZ is to foreigners.
19 Sep 2011, 15:18 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-271:
You’re like one of these old woman who set the remote to automatically change channel when the X certificate series starts, and the bombard the tv and newspapers with how disgusting and immoral the show is.
It seems like you only come here to be offended. I have to ask, why bother?
19 Sep 2011, 15:18 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-261: hennie will tell you now that his awb-loving and sa defence force mother left sa when he was 13 years old.he is afterall a centre-rightwinger as he indicated on a previous thread.
19 Sep 2011, 15:18 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-267: I do that kind of thing all the time, bud. There are these four cute little Xhosa girls who dance here on St George’s Mall on week days. They have a couple of little boys who beat these big old drums. I support them with whatever change I have.
If I came across you, or any other Kiwi, performing such a dance for my amusement, I would not hesitate to open my heart and my wallet.
Tell you what – upload your haka to YouTube and I’ll send you something. Money, old clothes, canned food – you name it.
19 Sep 2011, 15:19 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-270: …simply sick of you trying to pretend you actually know something about anything… Now go apply some more “Oxycute them” to those spots…
19 Sep 2011, 15:19 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-272:
Haha. Can imagine it would be overkill as well. Never been there luckily, and have no desire to ever go there
Thinking might do my OE to Ireland though, so might just find myself there one day!
19 Sep 2011, 15:19 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-269: Those Pikeys are a different sort though. I saw Snatch. Hippies are one thing, but Pikeys….
19 Sep 2011, 15:19 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-274: so leave the country then, you obviously dont like the comfort and security living there grants you… if you cant handle 6 weeks of impromptu hakas, which will revert back to very little AFTER the WC, then Id say NZ is not the place for you…
19 Sep 2011, 15:22 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-273:
Fair enough, my last attempt at a gag then.
19 Sep 2011, 15:23 pm
@>^..^< katman(katman)-277: yawn… shame you arent actually funny…
but how very noble of you to throw some coins at the disadvantaged..
did they get down on their knees and say thank you baaas? did you feel like that one little act of charity compensated for the many years of oprpression yourself and your forefathers bore down on these people?
19 Sep 2011, 15:24 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-276:
So when you’re an Afrikaner in the SADF, that means you vote AWB? I think you’d find a very small minority actaully caring much for them, so quit making presumptions.
And AWB-lovers would hardly leave the country they seem so determined to hold onto.
19 Sep 2011, 15:24 pm
Safety and predictability is for p ussies. Just this morning I got an SMS informing me that my gun licences have been approved, after a process of about 2 years converting them.
Papa wag vir jou…….
19 Sep 2011, 15:27 pm
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-280:
They’re on tv now saying ‘we’ve got nowhere else to go’
Well sell your caravan love, use the money for a couple of months rent on a flat, and then get a faking job to pay the bills every month like everyone else has to.
Nah, looks like it’s all women and kids there, quite a peaceful place by all accounts. But it’s all those earth warrior tie-tied anarchists who have come to ‘defend’ them that I’d like to have a go at. Can’t stand the work shy hippy barstewards.
19 Sep 2011, 15:28 pm
@mpundulu(mpundulu)-254: “OUTBURST”??? you sound like you work in the saffa media industry chap…
now that PdV knows what the haka means and it’s significance he thinks – one is still allowed to think hey? – that it should be left for those sacred and important occassions like before the game and not on every street corner as that invariably – in his mind – takes a bit of the “specialness” away from it.
19 Sep 2011, 15:29 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-286: Ja, I watched Sky yesterday. Get a job. Get a haircut. Pull up your pants.
19 Sep 2011, 15:30 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-281: this is the problem with saffas all over the world.you find them in nz,aus,england and ireland mostly.they are mostly hardcore racists that left sa when the anc took over.on their arrival in these countries they expected the locals to be sympathetic to their cause or ant-black viewpoints.when the locals were not forthcoming they became disillusioned with those countries hence the bad-mouthing of countries like nz etc.they can’t or won’t return to sa because bad-mouthing nz etc is still a better prospect than living under a black government.at the end of the day right-minded kiwis like yourself are stuck with okes like hennie and others until your government sort out the ‘afrikaner problem’.
19 Sep 2011, 15:30 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-281:
Let me put it this way. When I started intermediate school I spent 2 hours a week having to do ‘Kapa Haka’. What a brilliant way of educating NZ youth. Another 2 hours having to do Maori lessons. Hmm
I went to Maths Extension during one of the Maori periods, and failed a Maori language test. As a result? Got pulled out of Maths Extension and verbally abused. Teacher ended up getting a warning for it, considering I’d only been in the country a few months.
Very welcoming, yes.
19 Sep 2011, 15:32 pm
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-288:
There’s going to be big doodoo there today. I’ve got the tv on sky at the moment and it’s going to kick off soon.
19 Sep 2011, 15:33 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-282:
19 Sep 2011, 15:34 pm
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-285: LOL
19 Sep 2011, 15:34 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-275: ouch!
19 Sep 2011, 15:35 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-289:
So what’s your deal? You’re a hard core racist and you are still in SA.
And what about my facebook offer, big mouth?
19 Sep 2011, 15:35 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-286: Yeah, I reckon Capo is a Saffa version of a Pikey… and Poops, the Kiwi version…
19 Sep 2011, 15:36 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-289:
That’s complete rubbish. Most Afrikaners fled corruption, one of the highest crime-rates in the world & Affirmative Action. Don’t make it out to be anything else.
Can you blame a family for leaving when the neighbours get tied up, beaten and raped? Or half the time murdered for no reason? Who wouldn’t leave if they have better oppurtunities elsewhere.
There are a ****-load of blacks and coloured South Africans in New Zealand as well. Why did they leave? Afrikaners leave because they’re racist according to you? But everybody else? Why do so many kiwis live in Australia or England?
If there are better oppurtunities elswhere, people will go. Not anything to do with racism.
19 Sep 2011, 15:40 pm
so, henniep got hauled over the the coals for disrespecting nz culture and now he has joined the perpetual liars on keo.co.za just to paint nz as a racist hell-hole?that is now very revealing and explains his unjust tirade against a great democracy like nz.
19 Sep 2011, 15:40 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-289: i can’t believe somebody actually wrote that. HG is right, you know literally nothing… you should consider stopping posting for a while.
19 Sep 2011, 15:42 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-290: theres the crux of the issue huh?
having to learn Maori wouldnt have gone down to well with your Afrikaner parents would it?
19 Sep 2011, 15:42 pm
Capo could never be a pikey.
They love their dogs too much to fuckthem.
Poops shows a lot of potential though.
Just saying.
19 Sep 2011, 15:43 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-298:
Disrespecting? I actually enjoy it a lot. Simply pointing out that it’s not as great as you think. Like I said, can I arrange for you to come over and speak to some Chinese people that live here? They have it about as good as the Indians do in Australia.
A great democracy yes… but when your Prime Minister gets accused of racism for not saying ‘Kia Ora’ during an opening ceremony speech… that should tell you everything you need to know.

Wallabies legend David Campese tells Quade Cooper to rein in his style of play as Australia teeter on edge
By staff writers
FOX SPORTS September 19, 2011 3:01PM
Wallabies legend David Campese has criticised Quade Cooper’s chancy style of play and his ability to stand up under pressure as Australia’s Rugby World Cup 2011 campaign teeters on the brink.
Campese blamed a lack of leadership and teamwork for the 15-6 World Cup loss to Ireland on Saturday and the exhilarating Cooper was at the heart of his concerns.
“They thought it was going to be a lot easier than it was. Quade Cooper, I don’t know. I don’t know what he’s doing – every time he got (the ball) the crowd booed him. These flick passes, they work for Sonny Bill Williams, but it doesn’t work for certain people,” Campese told New Zealand’s Radio Sport.
“Under pressure, you want people in positions that can control the game and be smart about it. These guys weren’t smart at all.”
The unpredictable Cooper needs to get back to basics to put the Wallabies back on track, according to Campese.
“People have got to realise that I was a winger, so I was the last man on the line to try things,” he said.
“He’s a playmaker so he’s getting the ball all the time. I don’t think he understands the position sometimes, he thinks he can do a lot of things and he’s got to realise a No.10 normally is the big go-to man.
“When you’re under pressure you get the ball and kick it down touch like Dan Carter does. On the weekend I was watching and Cooper got the ball and just wanted to try everything himself. You can’t win a World Cup if you play like individuals, you’ve got to play as a team. Unfortunately the Wallabies on Saturday didn’t look like a team.”
Leadership, too, was lacking in Robbie Deans’s side and the coach wasn’t spared in Campese’s honest assessment.
He also rubbished suggestions that the Wallabies would need to temper their game plan to suit difficult conditions in New Zealand.
“You’ve got a Kiwi coach, Robbie Deans, coaching them – so he should know what the weather’s like.
“He should understand the conditions and the way it’s played. And that was his 50th game for Australia, so it’s not going to be a memorable day for him.
“The players obviously aren’t listening, or he’s not giving them the right advice.”
Deans now has an unenviable win-loss record (28 wins, 21 losses, and one draw), including losses to Samoa, Scotland and Ireland.
“I suppose the unfortunate thing for the Wallabies is we’ve got him until 2013,” Campese said.
“(ARU boss) John O’Neill in his wisdom signed him up, so what happens if we go out in the quarter-finals? We’re stuck with the guy for another couple of years.”

@poppa69(poppa69)-300:
It didn’t go down well with me considering about 1% of the population actually speak it. So what was the point? Do you speak maori? Do you have any interest in learning to speak it?
19 Sep 2011, 15:47 pm
@Gunther(gunther)-301: Sheezus Christus… That is farken funny… Thank goodness its “work” from home day for me. Loud cackles echoing round the neighbourhood.
19 Sep 2011, 15:47 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-297:
I’d give up if I were you Hendrik.
You’re obviously doing the Keo equivalent of taking a knife to a gun fight. You’re being decent and trying to have a conversation, Capo and Poops are putting words in your mouth and twisting everything you are saying to meet their own agendas.
You’re giving them the stick to hit you with, unscrupulous people do that. Stay decent.
19 Sep 2011, 15:49 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-306:
I’m still laughing at katmans gag about NZ shopping centre security guards doing the haka before their shift
19 Sep 2011, 15:50 pm
nice little afriforum going on this blog
hey Gunther or is it spiderman. just saying.
19 Sep 2011, 15:50 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-307:
Fair enough. I better get some sleep anyway
Have a great afternoon everybody!
19 Sep 2011, 15:51 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-309:
Kia ora.
What do you know of Afriforum? What is your perception of them?
You can’t always believe everything you read in the international media about South Africa.
The same as I won’t believe everything I’ve read about New Zealand.
Never rely on hearsay.
And by the way, you’re swimming in the dirty ditchwater again.
19 Sep 2011, 15:52 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-308:
I must say, I did have a chuckle.
I’m not too sure that greatest13gerber was very happy when he arrived in the Land of the Silver Cloud and reported for his first shift as Senior Surveillance Officer – only to find that he had to perform the haka on parade?
19 Sep 2011, 15:53 pm
Bullshit Ryan
19 Sep 2011, 15:54 pm
@WP Till I Die(WP-Forever)-312:
Oops – Land of the Long White Cloud.
(Was thinking of the Silver Fern!)
Let’s hope it does not become the Land of the Long Black Cloud…pending the outcome of this World Cup finals…
19 Sep 2011, 15:54 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-300: that would have defeated the purpose of actually emigrating to nz.that would basically admitting that black culture is superior to afrikaner culture.his afrikaner mom probably had a right royal fit over it hence the teacher’s apology.i suspect that hennie’s family never realised that there were black people in nz when they arrived there all those years ago.
19 Sep 2011, 15:56 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-315: well, understandable because the Maori werent allowed INTO SA in his parents heyday…
seems a lot of the older dutchies still feel that way…
19 Sep 2011, 15:56 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-308: Yeah some real pearlers here today… The funniest is Poopers attempt at credibility though
Just waiting for his regular “I’m not coming back” tantrum… Cant wait
19 Sep 2011, 15:57 pm
I think our bench will win us this World Cup.
19 Sep 2011, 15:58 pm
@rossoneri(rossoneri)-303: Oh dear. Tie me Kangaroo down sport… The Wallabies wobbling? Yes please
19 Sep 2011, 15:58 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-309: take it easy on old gunther.he is still a bit fragile after his father,the bastion of his afrikaner thinking,upbringing and racist disposition,nearly kicked the bucket.
19 Sep 2011, 15:58 pm
Campese not so complimentry of Dingo hahahahahaha john o’neill is going to deal with this miscreant chop chop
“I suppose the unfortunate thing for the Wallabies is we’ve got him until 2013,” Campese said.
“(ARU boss) John O’Neill in his wisdom signed him up, so what happens if we go out in the quarter-finals? We’re stuck with the guy for another couple of years.”

19 Sep 2011, 16:00 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-307: good advice
19 Sep 2011, 16:00 pm
@WP Till I Die(WP-Forever)-312:
LOL, as I said earlier, I think the haka is a great thing but the overexposure is getting a bit much. It does seem to have lost a bit of it’s special appeal in a rugby context, but maybe just to the 3N rivals who see it an awful lot these days
On the other hand, it’s all about money I guess and you can’t blame the politicians for making some dosh out of the mugs, errr, tourists sorry
19 Sep 2011, 16:01 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-320: Off sides. Red Card.
D ickhead.
19 Sep 2011, 16:01 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-320: dude you’re WAY off base!
19 Sep 2011, 16:02 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-320: truly sorry to hear about Gunthers father….am going through a similar thing myself and dont wish it upon anyone…
but that aside, Gunther knows where he stands with me, and I with him…best to humour him though, like katman they think theyre funny…
even when they try to hide their obvious afrikaner tendencies…
19 Sep 2011, 16:02 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-320: I am sure Gunther will have an appropriate come back and can look after himself but “Nice”… You farken squirt… But hey this is your only way to grasp something that you obviously can never get, or have ever experienced, other than to rip the wings off a fly or torture a cat… A smidgen of power.
Now just go away. You contribute sweetfarkall here.

@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-320: How classy. Let me bestow my poetry on you again:
born the son of a pig manure trucker
capo’s life got progressively kakker
but even he could not see
that by age thirty three
he’d become a diseased poodle fcker
19 Sep 2011, 16:11 pm

19 Sep 2011, 16:14 pm
Capo at least I know who my father is my little poodle fondler.
And as for Poops he still thinks paedophile jokes are funny.
Let’s hope god does the world a favour and he never has children.
You two halfwitted halfbreeds deserve each other.
19 Sep 2011, 16:15 pm
There was a pink poodle named Fifi,
Who one day went outside for a weewee
But she just didn’t count on
Capo with his pants down
And her bottom plugged with his peepee

@poppa69(poppa69)-347: Why dont you throw in an AIDS chirp while you at it… You find those funny too… As I have said and you have demonstrated…. Your descent to scum like Capo is well and truly complete.

@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-352: yawn..

perhaps some of your aryan brothers may be able to help you?
19 Sep 2011, 16:38 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-353:
What the hell is Aryan supposed to mean?
Am I Aryan because I have blond hair and blue eyes and fair skin?
Am I Aryan because of my North European ancestry?
Please enlighten me?
19 Sep 2011, 16:41 pm
@WP Till I Die(WP-Forever)-354: clearly, it describes Afrikaners who, like the Aryan brotherhood, have superiority issues…
do you? you seemed to take great delight in katmans “joke” about the haka, so I can only assume that you are rather similar..
capische?
19 Sep 2011, 16:44 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-353: There is just no more point to it… You aren’t funny anymore, there is no hint of rivalry – friendly or competitive, you have sunk out of sight Poops… Just attempts to shock that come across as bitter, fairly stoopid and as downright nasty as Capo. Nothing clever. Nothing more nothing less.
Now do yourself a favour and shut up. You’ve made enough of a fool of yourself already over the last few days.
19 Sep 2011, 16:45 pm
@WP Till I Die(WP-Forever)-354:
It seems it’s the way it goes these days. You can be as racist as you want against white people and can accuse them of being aryan, skinheads, awb or whatever you fancy. It’s ‘in’ on Keo. Poops, Capo and ET regularly do it.
P.S. It doesn’t work the other way round though.
19 Sep 2011, 16:46 pm
Everybody knows what you are talking about.
You are just too much of a coward to come out and say it.
But everybody here knows what you are all about.
So don’t be shy scum.
19 Sep 2011, 16:46 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-355:
At this stage it appears as though the only people obsessed with race have been you and Tecumseh?
And by the way, it is a common misconception that the word “Aryan” refers to white supremacists – that is but one of the contemporary usages of the word.
19 Sep 2011, 16:49 pm
@WP Till I Die(WP-Forever)-359:
A common misconception that it refers exclusively – in scholarly circles it actually refers to the Indo-Iranian peoples and languages and their descendents – which taken to its furthest extreme includes the entire Caucasian race.
Hindu nationalists also refer to themselves as Aryans…
19 Sep 2011, 16:50 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-355: Anyone who finds the incessant Maori Macarena dance tiresome is an Aryan racist. For 10 points, elaborate.
19 Sep 2011, 16:51 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-355:
Racism, anti-semitism, ageism, sexism all have their roots in the same thing: generalisations and pre-conceived ideas.
Yet here you are making a number of sweeping generalisations.
19 Sep 2011, 16:54 pm
@WP Till I Die(WP-Forever)-362: oh, so the Maori Macarena dance is a perfectly suitable comment is it?
hypocrite…
19 Sep 2011, 16:56 pm
In the words of Ard frm Just Jinger:
If there is Grace in this world
If there is light on this earth
Let us use it, let us see it.. starting right now
Can we be down with ourselves?
Respectful and mindful of one
Of one another, your significant other,
Your sister or brother?
Peace, Love, more tolerance.
Faith, hope, trust in the same name of God
Peace, Love, more tolerance.
Faith, hope, trust in the same name of God in whose
name we die for, take an innocent life for
well that’s not what he means..
and it doesn’t matter what Book you read
Is there relief upahead?
Cos Judgement and hearing await
A weight on our mindsto bear,
A shame on our hearts to wear
Where is Salvation now?
Now that we have what we want
Now that we have our wars..
Peace, Love, more tolerance.
Faith, hope, trust in the same name of God in whose
name we die for, take an innocent life for
well that’s not what he means..
and it doesn’t matter what Book you read
with a little bit of ease and little bit of calm
acceptance is the key to all we know
what about a stir of compassion and
lenience?
what about some understanding?
what about some sympathy?
19 Sep 2011, 16:56 pm
A bunch of rich whites were on a huge cruise boat about to sink. So they started looking at each other to find someone who could pray for them, but none of them were suitable. So finally they see the ‘coloured’ cleaner and ask him to pray for them. He Prays:
Ek se Lord when I wanted to cross the bridge at the station, it said: “Whites only”
When I wanted to sit on the chair, it said: “White’s only”
When I wanted to go to the toilet it said: “Whites only”
When I tried to enter the front door of the post office it said: “Whites only”
So Lord as this boat goes down Lord, Jy weet mos. “Whites only”
Amen!

Great song mate, I love it.
19 Sep 2011, 16:59 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-363:
Poppa, there is a pointed difference between satire and hate speech.
You are, of course, free to make fun of our traditions.
The problem comes when you revert to what might be interpreted as hate speech because it could incite violence or prejudicial action.
If you describe Afrikaners as people who push black people out of buildings, or beat their farm workers, or rape, well, then it crosses the threshold of satire and becomes hate speech.
And that is where the problem lies.
19 Sep 2011, 17:00 pm

Its done. Complete. Not only scum but cowardly scum too
19 Sep 2011, 17:00 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-367: again, why the need to belittle someone elses culture?
is it that hard wired into your psyches is it?
19 Sep 2011, 17:02 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-371: anytime you want to bring it zimbo, ready and waiting..

19 Sep 2011, 17:03 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-366:
Fuckkin helll Pops, have you seriously got nothing better to do than display your sense of humour bypass on Keo?
Mention the haka and it’s racist? WTF are you on dude. I ask you again, why bother coming here unless you actually enjoy being offended? And you certainly find a lot to be offended about.
HG’s post 356 is bang on, you have lost it dude.
19 Sep 2011, 17:05 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-372: How does it go, poppa? You put your left foot in, you take your left foot out. In, out, in, out wiggle it about…
Come on, it’s cultural hour here on keo. Help us out.
19 Sep 2011, 17:07 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-372: No belittling was done. Just Bok supporters on a Bok supporter rugby site having a laugh at the over exposure of the Sheepshagger Macarena. The belittling that was done was of racism, farm invasions, someones family misfortune etc Just to point score. As I said earlier. You’re not funny. You’re not entertaining anymore. This isn’t competitive rivalry anymore – just twistedshit worthy of scum like Capo. Thats all.

19 Sep 2011, 17:17 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-386: Rather see it as a bunch of people trying to corner and get rid of a rat.
Hope this analogy was helpful.
19 Sep 2011, 17:17 pm
@WP Till I Die(WP-Forever)-369: If you describe Afrikaners as people who push black people out of buildings, or beat their farm workers, or rape, well, then it crosses the threshold of satire and becomes hate speech.
how can the truth be hate speech?we can go into the law archives and we will surely find numerous where black people supposedly slipped on bars and tumbled out of top floor windows in buildings like john vorster square etc etc.surely we will find cases where black people slipped on bars of soap and tumbled down staircases.to further compound your misery it’s also a fact that we will found that in 100 percent of these cases that the afrikaner perpetrators were found not guilty…that piece of soap got them out of many a pickle it seems.it’s also a well known fact that slavery existed and that slave owners took advantage of the help against their will.aryan scum like you will never change the history of this country by crying’hate speech’ when these truths are thrown at your door.
19 Sep 2011, 17:18 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-386:
Hey, I was arguing with you first. HG’s in my posse.
Now how do we do this? Caps lock on for every word you want to emphasise?
Cool.
‘Fark you Pops, you lousy no good CNUT’

19 Sep 2011, 17:19 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-390: And what if stories of poodle fcking are true?
19 Sep 2011, 17:19 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-386: The only little chicken here is you Poops… Assume the position Roast chicken…
You have been so rottenly shagged on these last couple of pages you could be Kelleher’s Pornstar ex girlfriend.
Now behave yourself you dumbfck savage and run along.

19 Sep 2011, 17:22 pm
@WP Till I Die(WP-Forever)-369: i take it you’re banking on poppa grasping the nuances between the two concepts?
19 Sep 2011, 17:22 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-390:
Here’s an idea. Let’s keep going on about the past on random websites. It’ll disguise the fact that you are a sad arssed loser today who keeps blaming the past. Maybe it’ll make you feel better for a bit, but ultimately hollow inside.
Whatcha think?
19 Sep 2011, 17:24 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-394:

@WP Till I Die(WP-Forever)-369:
Poops is too fuckingstupid to know the difference.
Him and the poodlefucker were seperated at birth.
19 Sep 2011, 17:29 pm
Tecumseh tells us that when a white man commits a crime against a black man, it must surely mean all white people are AWB-loving racists.
When a black man commits a crime against a white man, then they should shut up because they’ve had it easy in the past apparently, and this is only revenge for what other whites have done.
Makes a lot of sense.
19 Sep 2011, 17:29 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-402: don’t say.he will be
running to mommy again crying about the evil maori teacher.
19 Sep 2011, 17:29 pm

@JockBok(JockBok)-408:
19 Sep 2011, 17:32 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-402:
Kill and hate coloured people? Yeah I’m out on bail.
You don’t call someone dutchy or dutch boy and then pretend they are the racists. It’s like punching your wife in the face and then accusing her of violence.
19 Sep 2011, 17:33 pm
@Transformation(Transformation)-400: He might be kind and bring the KY gel for Pooper… Eish its not pretty now. Like 28′s with a new frail young thing…
19 Sep 2011, 17:34 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-412: Once were Warriors… That was illuminating
19 Sep 2011, 17:34 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-407:
Lol, yeah sure thing Pops. Don’t band me in your little groups, I speak for myself.
I give as good as I get but have yet to start crying about it.
19 Sep 2011, 17:34 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-407: white zimbos always need a good jock russell as a a lapdog.in the days of rhodesia that was a common sight.
19 Sep 2011, 17:35 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-406:
I was once a child. WOW. I grew up.
You’re mum obviously got sick of your s**t so now you come crying to us instead.
If you’re so sick of the Afrikaners (and don’t enjoy saying “Ja baas”), I’m sure poppa will find you a job packing someones groceries. I can’t promise that I won’t report you as an overstayer though.
19 Sep 2011, 17:35 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-415: whose crying? Im having a good laugh…
so many SA’s and one Zimbo biting at my inane comments..
wonderful…
19 Sep 2011, 17:36 pm
@Great White Shark(Predawn)-401:
Capo is a racist. He argues sometimes, I laugh at him.
Pretty straight forward really.
19 Sep 2011, 17:38 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-416:
Yeah, they even made a movie about me. I see you have perked up at the mention of small dogs.
19 Sep 2011, 17:39 pm
Aich it’s war out there in keoland
19 Sep 2011, 17:39 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-418: yeah,they always think they have a monopoly on bait on this site.the zimbo and the scots oke are at times so easy, its hilarious.
19 Sep 2011, 17:40 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-418:Norman Bates, you better tone it down chief, or we’ll have to set Helen on you.
19 Sep 2011, 17:41 pm
Anyone know what time the team’s to be announced.
19 Sep 2011, 17:41 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-416: A common sight in the days of now is the floater in the white telephone – I see two who are hard to flush – I’ve even named them. One called Capo and one called Pooper… Two Poohs in a Pod.
19 Sep 2011, 17:41 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-414:
Nothing like Poppa’s life though. I imagine him in a little one-bedroom apartment littered with tissues. He tells his work friends (the only friends he has) that he has a different girl every night. Easy when you only have to type in a web address and reach for the lube.
19 Sep 2011, 17:42 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-418: oh so now you were just baiting them all along right? pull the other one
19 Sep 2011, 17:43 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-426: Good comment but can I change it slightly. Change “girl” for “sheep”… Perfect
19 Sep 2011, 17:44 pm
@bokgat1(bokgat1)-424:
Usually 8am in the morning (so 10pm SA time) but I wouldn’t count on it being tonight. More likely Tuesday night 10pm for you guys.
19 Sep 2011, 17:44 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-420: i see you are shagging up with an oke now that has publicly admitted on keo that he took delight in torturing black people as a commander of one of the saps riot squad units.how the mighty and righteous has fallen into the gutter i say
19 Sep 2011, 17:44 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-422:
true, but when they think you have “gone over the edge” is the funniest…
did you see how many came in to join the ruckus?
theyre tough in a group these boys….
19 Sep 2011, 17:44 pm
Poops and Capo.
The unspeakable and the unconscionable.
Who woulda thunk it.
Any port in a storm.
19 Sep 2011, 17:45 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-418: Dont apologise for your own inane stupidity…
Silly, silly… Loved watching the car crash to zero credibility though and the blossoming friendship with Capo… truly entertaining
19 Sep 2011, 17:47 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-422:
If it is the case, and it’s not, that you set out to deliberately fish for arguments, then you are even sadder than I originally thought in the first place.
But anyway, you are not intelligent enough to plan anything so complex. It’s always the same, you come on here looking for a ‘scrap’, get your arsse handed to you very quickly then pretend it was all a fishing trip and planned in advance.
Sometimes you have a normal conversation even, but if there is no-one around that doesn’t know you are a lowlife piece of scum, you start a fight just to get some attention. Like the naughty boy who’s parents are too busy for him.
Now go and sit on the naughty step, small boy. I’ll count to 100.
19 Sep 2011, 17:47 pm
@Transformation(Transformation)-400: that was a quick gym session.well i guess rossie must be used to two minutes noodles.
19 Sep 2011, 17:47 pm
@Gunther(gunther)-432: well, even Spidermen have to shelter from the storm dont they peter parker?
19 Sep 2011, 17:48 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-428:
He saves that for a special occasion… Sunday afternoons when the farmers are having a nap.
19 Sep 2011, 17:49 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-436: Spiderman… The route to literacy?
19 Sep 2011, 17:49 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-426: please. keep me out of your fantasies..
imagine admitting on a blog that you can imagine another blog member in his bedroom..
eish…
19 Sep 2011, 17:50 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-437: Aha? No chance. Its everyday a sheep day… Poops has a rampant libido… ask Capo
19 Sep 2011, 17:51 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-431: unfortunately that’s the white saffa way.the scots will always join the fight because they always believes that it’s good to fight other nations perceived just causes…..except their own.
19 Sep 2011, 17:51 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-430:
I was righteous and mighty? Why thank you.
I’ve no idea who you are talking about though because I don’t actually read every post on here. But knowing you, it’ll be someone who was in the army as a kid and you’ve elaborated a tad.
Wait, I remember you posting about being upset that Mandela didn’t let you shoot white people. Was it you? You are a racist after all and it sounds like something you’d delight in.
19 Sep 2011, 17:53 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-439: that is one sick thing that you’ve got in your country there.too much poodle talk from his masters hg and jock got him excited it seems.
19 Sep 2011, 17:55 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-439:
It’s my curiousity. It disgusts me but I can’t help myself.
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-440:
Probably feeds the tissues to it after they’re done. Poor thing.
19 Sep 2011, 17:55 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-443: I guess the teacher taught him more than just the Maori language?
he seems to know the special occassions “when the farmers are asleep” doesnt he?
Id say Hendrik really likes his adopted country, and he doesnt mind the wool being pulled over his eyes it seems
19 Sep 2011, 17:56 pm
that thing that goes by the name of henniep should be ashamed of himself by soliciting pops for dirty romps in hotel rooms.his afrikaner grandad must be turning in his grave.
19 Sep 2011, 17:57 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-443:
Gotta love it. One id-i0t patting another id-i0t on the back.
19 Sep 2011, 17:58 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-429: Thanks chief, actually I just had at KEO itself: Tuesday (07:00 New Zealand time/ 21:00 on Monday SA time.) That’s in 3 hours time.
Reference “Habana back, Lambie sidelined”.
19 Sep 2011, 17:59 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-447: yeah, HG and Jock should be ashamed of themselves..
can you imagine them in their bedrooms too?
19 Sep 2011, 17:59 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-445: i think that, by now, his glasses are made out of wool….and he is not using it for reading purposes.
19 Sep 2011, 18:00 pm
Poops
Your canoe has been holed below the waterline.
If you turn back now you can still make it.
Otherwise it don’t look good.
19 Sep 2011, 18:00 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-445:
Does anyone actually know the Maori language? I figured it was jibberish.
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-446:
I’d rather have a go with the sheep then meet poppa, but thanks anyway. As for my grandad… don’t hate on him because your grandad had to call him baas. He wasn’t a politician, he merely did the best he could with what he had.
19 Sep 2011, 18:01 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-447:
They have gone into defensive mode. They can’t argue the points they raised intitially so they start to insult everyone in posts to each other. It’s a mutual masterbatttttion session for dented ego’s.
19 Sep 2011, 18:03 pm
imagine henniep’s dad and grandad feeling very pissed with his tendencies.they probably feel that all those black beatings and killings were in vain seeing the way their son and grandson turned out.there goes the notion of afrikaner supremacy over blacks out of the freakin window.
19 Sep 2011, 18:03 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-449:
I was referring to you sucking up to someone who is clearly as dumb as you. The shameful thing is living in NZ you actually had plenty of oppurtunities to do well for yourself. Tecumseh was too busy blaming everybody else so missed out on those oppurtinities.
19 Sep 2011, 18:04 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-452:
like afrikaans you mean? isnt that double dutch?
19 Sep 2011, 18:05 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-453:
It’s like one of those arranged sessions where you can watch the screen but not make any noises and have to keep your hands under the blanket. Halfway through they both get frustrated and just help each other out a tad.
19 Sep 2011, 18:09 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-452: sorry to disappoint you but my grandad never uttered those words to aryan scum like your grandad but i can see that you are longing for a return to those good days…at least you can stop bad-mouthing nz and return to sa soil.
19 Sep 2011, 18:11 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-454:
There was never anything about Afrikaner supremacy from most Afrikaners. They voted for the party and system that gave them the best deal.
And they educated me so that one day I can tip you so your kids don’t go hungry. I’d call that supremacy yes.
19 Sep 2011, 18:11 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-458:
Coming from a whiteboy, thats funny.
19 Sep 2011, 18:13 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-458:
Oh was he a freedom fighter was he? Blew up innocent people and so forth? Or did he not have a job and therefore no one to call baas?
19 Sep 2011, 18:15 pm
These Keo hacks kill me. Ryan,2 things pal: 1st, there definitely wasn’t a “certainty” about the Bok’s journey in 2007. What are you talking about man? We all knew deep down we were pretty fortunate to escape Aus and NZ then and our form running into RWC 2007 was anything but hot. 2nd, your brilliant insight that everything has to click on the day for the Boks to be succcessful is genius, Pythagoras like and testament to your skills as an investigative sports journalist. You’re right of course, the Boks have no chance of winnning a QF or semi as the everything clicking on the day factor clearly doesn’t apply to either Aus or NZ. Don’t forget these are both teams who rely solely on the irresistably consistent skills of their players and their rock solid game plans. Nothing else! Do you actually rewind your tape or whatever you guys use and play it before you post? I said the other day to have a couple of cold ones, not drink the whole damned keg.
19 Sep 2011, 18:15 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-459: you could not even master a few words of maori you plonker but you want to educate people!very funny indeed.
19 Sep 2011, 18:15 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-461: surely with your maori teaching in school you could have substituted the word baas for rangatira?
19 Sep 2011, 18:20 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-464:
I prefer not to learn a dead language, but thanks anyway.
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-463:
Read above. Luckily in NZ though they don’t deny people entry to varsity without knowing Maori. I see your precious ANC cronies want to further screw over the whites by only letting them in if they know an African language. Makes sense. It’s never been about being equal. It’s about bringing the Afrikaners down to their level so they don’t look as bad.
19 Sep 2011, 18:23 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-465: a dead language is it? bwahaha I see youve learnt fokall about NZ in your time there..
why would they make school children learn a “dead language” as you so supremely put it?
still, remain ignorant… did you get beaten up by the maori kids at school for your funny accent?
19 Sep 2011, 18:26 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-465:
I can swear in Zulu. I wonder if that counts.
19 Sep 2011, 18:26 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-465: why not?maybe the next generation of afrikaners will learn to respect black people unlike the scum like like you hiding out in countries like nz.
19 Sep 2011, 18:27 pm
With Maori “teaching” HendrikP would surely know the true significance of these words…
Touch…(Pause) Mount… (Pause) Engage… ( the Baa- aa-aahs echo)
All preceded by the Tjeeptjagging Macarena, of course….
But his Maori “teaching” was somewhat deficient. Shame on you Hendrikp
19 Sep 2011, 18:28 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-466: that afrikaner accent is the stuff to make fun off.i would understand if he got a good maori beating because of it.
19 Sep 2011, 18:31 pm
just attempting to speak english with that afrikaner accent deserves a beating all on it’s own.
19 Sep 2011, 18:33 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-466:
Do you speak maori? When you are in a supermarket have you ever heard people speak maori to each other? Don’t lie now. They make children learn it because of a maori party that is assured of seats in parliament even if they don’t get a single vote. And to give the impression that they care about race relations of course. How many people do you know that speak fluent Maori? Please tell me.
@Great White Shark(Predawn)-467:
Not if your a white man. You can be a rocket scientist and they won’t let you in. That would mean educating another white man – the last thing the ANC wants.
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-468:
Respect? I respect people who work hard and educate themselves. You need to earn respect, not demand it. And apartheid happened in America as well. Difference is over there the blacks don’t play victim like you lot.
19 Sep 2011, 18:34 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-469: Yes, and Hendrikp can actually read… Truly deficient this teaching
19 Sep 2011, 18:38 pm
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-470:
A good maori beating? I went to school with Europeans and asians mostly. Have you ever been to NZ? There aren’t many Maori’s just so you know. And I never got a beating from anybody. I was always a reasonable size for my age and got along with everybody. Thanks for your concern though
@Tecumseh(Tecumseh)-471:
Like I said, speak to a professional. I can’t help you with you wanting to play victim.
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-469:
I never quite understood why people had sheep in their backyards, and walked around with a scrum cap on. Makes more sense now
19 Sep 2011, 18:39 pm
Ryan, keo a week ago said the Wallabies should with the RWC. You okes are full of guessing. I’ll stick to what happens post the Samoa game and think if we improve that we can definitely roll the Wallabies over …
As for the ABs … well they still have to get past France this weekend …
19 Sep 2011, 18:39 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-474: LOL
19 Sep 2011, 18:41 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-461: @Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-460: @JockBok(JockBok)-453:
Good to see you all… without the facade of respectibility
@Gunther(gunther)-451: Hows Andre Nel’s mini-me today.. did you clean that picture you had of his butt.. saliva is corrosive
19 Sep 2011, 18:41 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-473:
I made NZ’s education system work for me. Poppa had too many daddy issues to focus on his school work though – that and being too busy with the sheep sh@gging.
19 Sep 2011, 18:42 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-472: well, I used to listen to my grandparents speak it every day, so of course Ive picked a fair bit of it up… you obviously havent heard of Te Reo Maori?
I have plenty of relations who also speak maori fluently, but all you are doing is showing your complete ignorance… continue..
19 Sep 2011, 18:42 pm
@danuk(danuk)-475: Relax, cuzzie. Every time Keo.co.za backs someone…the mockers. Long may it continue.
19 Sep 2011, 18:44 pm
Also, dearest Ryan, having the best “players” in the world means sweet blue farkall if they don’t play as a team. I personally think Ewan McKenzie got more out of the Reds than Deans are getting out of the Wallabies, PLUS I think they are looking tired and might have peaked too soon. Most of the Wallabies have had a very long season and staying fresh and interested for 4-6 months is a very though ask.
I think our chances are good and hopefully with Frans Steyn and 12 our backline will be a hell or a lot more threatening. I hope we do well against Samoa, because if we have a solid showing against them then we will have a Wobblies for breakfast …
One more thing … I think we might get the local support, post Quade’s antics with Richie
19 Sep 2011, 18:44 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-478: really? bwahahaha and you know about my education how?
making assumptions again little dutch boy?
how very superior of you…
whats it like living in a country you despise? one where you have to share the bus or the train or your office with those who have a darker skin tone?
does it not upset you that there are no “whites only” areas?
it shows…
19 Sep 2011, 18:44 pm
@youknowwho(youknowwho)-477: Good to see you too, our fine resident QS…. Ready to take on the world again with your healthymagination?
19 Sep 2011, 18:48 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-480: lol, true, probably something I ate or maybe Ryan (Onte)Vrede’s face which upset me!
19 Sep 2011, 18:49 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-479:
So you speak it fluently or you don’t? You speak Maori to your parents? I didn’t think so fool.
@poppa69(poppa69)-482:
No problem. You are making assumptions again. Everywhere I’ve been I’d put Wellington on top of my favourite city in the world to live in. I haven’t got a problem with anyone that works hard for a living, or is at the very least educated.
I can tell by the way you carry on that you obviously went to somy Polytech where they gave you a hand-out (not an education).
19 Sep 2011, 19:00 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-485:
the only fool is yourself..
I went to Te Poho O Tipene for a few years, where we also learnt to speak Maori… but continue, just because you were too dumb to learn any of it, or too ignorant because it wasnt the white mans language, is your problem and yours only…
as for education, again your show your complete lack of one by again making assumptions on something you have no idea at all..
not very smart dutchboy, but then, Ive never known a smart Afrikaner..
19 Sep 2011, 19:01 pm
Poor langers so much kak to praat and so little time.
Are you sad you missed the england team’s dwarf tossing evening?
Not that anybody is going to be strong enough to to pick you up let alone throw you anywhere.
19 Sep 2011, 19:02 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-485: so run along now and keep hiding from your racist upbringing and ancestors…
shame you cant go back to SA, but then you probably dont want to spend years in the lockup like so many other innocents had to at the hand of your forefathers huh?
19 Sep 2011, 19:03 pm
Is Langers a QS?
I thought he said he was clever.
19 Sep 2011, 19:08 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-483: You know what Einstein said about imagination
..
Sometimes I read my old posts and blog and find myself wondering how the fk I came up with those moments of brilliance
19 Sep 2011, 19:10 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-486:
So you speak it fluently? If your answer is yes you are a liar. Do you go into a shop and speak Maori to someone who looks Maori? It’s a dead language. Accept it.
And what education do you have then? I’ve never even heard of Te Poho O Tipene but I’m guessing it’s similar to the school from ‘Boy’. Did you go onto university then?
Judging by your schools name, I’m guessing you speak like that kid that shot his cousin in the head after saying “Bay I’ll shoot youse”.
19 Sep 2011, 19:12 pm
@youknowwho(youknowwho)-490: No, tell me…please
“Brilliance”
19 Sep 2011, 19:12 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-489: Who is Langers?
19 Sep 2011, 19:14 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-485:
I felt that you were a far more balanced individual a few days ago, than you’re currently displaying.
The one thing I’ve learnt is that an education is no judge of a persons integrity or even their inellectual ability, as 40 years of apartheid proved. The germans and japanese were all educated nations, yet it did nothing for their decision making ability.
19 Sep 2011, 19:14 pm
@Gunther(gunther)-487: “Not that anybody is going to be strong enough to to pick you up let alone throw you anywhere.” Hehehe.
No Red Dwarfs but Fat dwarfs in this constellation?
19 Sep 2011, 19:14 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-491: ohhh go little dutchboy..
your racist tendencies are there for all to see..
bet your mum and dad can finally be proud of you, what with your assumptions that I dont speak Maori… lmfao..
you claim to be educated yet you sit here and call me a liar when you STILL dont know if I speak the language or not..
now that is dutchboy stupid that is…
god, you definitely are the true definition of the knuckle dragging neanderthal… synonomously so…
19 Sep 2011, 19:14 pm
@JL1(JL1)-493:
Shaun, youknowwho.
19 Sep 2011, 19:16 pm
@David(David)-494: Whooa chap. Hendrikp is giving nothing in comparison to Poops and Capo… Context.
19 Sep 2011, 19:16 pm
@youknowwho(youknowwho)-490: ehhh, Chataeux Cardboard, 5 Liters at a time
19 Sep 2011, 19:17 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-497: Oh, Langers, Mr FIGJAM the second
19 Sep 2011, 19:17 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-496:
Bet you’re chuffed now Pops.
Tease, tease, chip away, a bit more teasing, a few words in his mouth and then viola, you have the outcome you wanted.
Well done.
19 Sep 2011, 19:17 pm
@Gunther(gunther)-487: I broke 89kgs this morning but that is probably due to a good flush out… piled up Springbok scrum after being fked over by wales
Hows the stain removal process going.. has your missus wondered why you are showing such little interest in her new lingerie set.. not as hot as Andres pants??
19 Sep 2011, 19:18 pm
@JL1(JL1)-500: FIGJAM
F..CK I AM GOOD JUST ASK ME
19 Sep 2011, 19:18 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-498: saving your lil mate are we?
how very tough of you… leave hendrik alone, apparently hes edumacated (obvious error) , he can tell if someone can speak a language without ever having met that person..
classic…
19 Sep 2011, 19:19 pm
“go little dutchboy”… Hmm, followed by “your racist tendencies are there for all to see”….
Maori “education”?
19 Sep 2011, 19:20 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-504: Just bendover… again… You’ve been doing it all day.
19 Sep 2011, 19:21 pm
@JL1(JL1)-503:
Ha, saved me a post there. I was just about to ask
19 Sep 2011, 19:21 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-506: eah right…youd love that wouldnt you?
banshee not putting out?
shame… still, I imagine shes got better people to do
19 Sep 2011, 19:21 pm
@JL1(JL1)-503: Yep, ask yourself
19 Sep 2011, 19:22 pm
@David(David)-494:
I’m perfectly balanced. I just don’t buy into the whole ‘victim’ thing these two have got going on. And having a bit of fun at the same time.
@poppa69(poppa69)-496:
Should put your dictionary down. Big words aren’t going to convince me you’re anything more then a window-washer.
And you don’t speak Maori fluently. Like I said, if you claim to, then you are a liar because hardly anyone speaks it. It’s a dead language being shoved down everyones throat at a young age because NZ government want to be seen in a positive light regarding race relations. That’s why they assure the Maori party seats in parliament, even if they didn’t get a single vote. White people get blamed for the state of Maori health, education etc. and then have to fork out to try make things better. Not to mention 99% of scholarships are reserved for Maori’s.
19 Sep 2011, 19:23 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-510: really? I dont speak maori fluently?
ok then idiot… you obviously have met me and have conversed with me in person…

@youknowwho(youknowwho)-509: Ag shame, dont be so sour. You share a nickname with Kevin Pietersen

@hendrikp(hendrikp)-510:
157,110 New Zealand residents claimed they could converse in Maori about everyday things, in the 2006 Census.
yep, its a dead language alright..
for someone whose supposedly educated, isnt it about time you started to use that education???
19 Sep 2011, 19:26 pm
Here is a good bit of trivia.. Heard it on QI(bbc show)
Who snubbed Jesse Owens after his feat at the 1936 Olympics
19 Sep 2011, 19:27 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-511:
Tell you what then. Translate your whole post (511) into Maori for me.
Also this phrase: “We now own the foreshore, but we can’t sell it or deny anyone entry”
Then I’ll have it checked.
I expect that you won’t because you can’t speak Maori. You’re a liar is all.
19 Sep 2011, 19:27 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-513: 157 110
Hahahaha, you should have never posted that number
You can almost name them
19 Sep 2011, 19:29 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-508: Prefer shagging Maoris myself… They dont know when to stop…
See now you are trying to use personal info against me Poops… But banshee aint personal so it aint working…
But the is showing how low you truly have got…. Capo-esque.
Now if I was so inclined there would be plenty of info (eg your family etc) to try and get a similar dig in at you… But I wont. So continue to make yourself look like the cuntyou so obviously have proven yourself to be… I dont have to.

@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-498:
You get the odd individual who tries to play peace-maker. Good on David for actually feeling sympathetic towards these two.
But personally I call it as I see it. If someone accuses me of being AWB-loving who escaped from South Africa because of the blacks and call me dutch boy, I have every right to defend myself
I haven’t crossed the line anywhere, whereas these two have clearly. Oh well
19 Sep 2011, 19:30 pm

19 Sep 2011, 19:35 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-515: It should go a little something like this: “Hey bro its mine, bud we kant do shiit or tell anione to peace off”!
19 Sep 2011, 19:35 pm
Apprently being able to say “hi”, “how are you” & “I’m good” in Maori is speaking fluently. Must not be many words in that dictionary.
19 Sep 2011, 19:36 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-518: Good on you. Nothing like the absolute drivel these two scum have posted on these few pages. The leveraging of what they may consider personal stuff to try and “get at you” is the level apart… The bottom level…
It will be a laugh how Black “Carly Simon” Panty might try and excuse Poopers behaviour now… But never underestimate these fools’ ability for duplicity

19 Sep 2011, 19:40 pm
@youknowwho(youknowwho)-524:
Errr, I’m not FDR. What has that got to do with me?
Or are you being one of those true fu.cking idiots who equates previous and commonly shared views on race and the superiority of the white man and transfers it into today?
Really, why do South Africans think they have the sole claim to being oppressed? Well maybe not all, just the stupid big mouths like you.
The whole European and settler world was constitutionally racist until a relatively short period of time ago. Some relinquished quicker than others but yes, ALL WHITE PEOPLE WERE RACIST. Now stop being a twat and pull yourself into the 21st century.
19 Sep 2011, 19:40 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-532: again, continue with your assumptions… it must be because you are educated huh?

@poppa69(poppa69)-530:
What is your basis for calling us racist soldiers? Simple question.
19 Sep 2011, 19:44 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-537: what was the basis for apartheid?
therein lies your answer…
19 Sep 2011, 19:44 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-535:
Pretty much. It makes sense that education should affect your intellegence.

19 Sep 2011, 19:46 pm
@youknowwho(youknowwho)-524:
In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think this is quite truly the most stupid statement on this website today, and Capo has been on for a while.
I’m speechless at where to begin with this. It’s relevance to the time was total and unashamed. I love it when people say ‘Lincoln was a racist you know’. Of course he was, they all were. And only until a few years ago in the grand scale of things.
Fark, i actually thought you might have had something up top Shaun, but it’s clear you are just another victim without a fuckkingg clue why.
19 Sep 2011, 19:46 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-534:
It’s not about the oppression anymore. It’s because the white man drives around in a flash car and lives in a nice house. They then make excuses to try screw the white man out of his belongings. Simple.
19 Sep 2011, 19:46 pm
Pops and tecumtwat. You have reached new lows today.
Eye opener.
19 Sep 2011, 19:49 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-538:
We’ve been through this you fool. Afrikaners voted for a party that gave them and their people the best deal. They weren’t all politicians. At the time the Afrikaners were a reasonably poor nation who had been oppressed by the dirty English, and farm attacks were as regular as they are now.
South Africa definitely isn’t the only country where these things happened. It happened in New Zealand as well. It is still happening in Australia. Does that make every single white man to walk this planet a racist soldier?
19 Sep 2011, 19:49 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-539: so, you cant answer that question or you refuse to??
surely an educated man like yourself would be able to define the answer based on 60 odd years of oppression?
19 Sep 2011, 19:52 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-544: so what youre saying is Afrikaners “voted” for apartheid?
eish..
19 Sep 2011, 19:53 pm

@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-547: A joke about millions of deaths in response to some digs at the overexposure of the AB macarena…
Howzat for perspective…? Pooperperspective truly.
19 Sep 2011, 19:57 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-542:
It’s not about oppression, yes, but sorry Hendrik, I disagree with the rest of it. That thinking is outdated and dangerous to South Africa today.
Times have changed and people are aware more of the struggles fellow citizens are having on there very doorsteps. But there are a lot of people who have to be uplifted and it is a big job to do in practice. Thankfully the formerly privileged people recognise this and even small initiatives like Lead SA are becoming more popular and relevant in rich peoples lives.
In my experience, many people spend a lot of time doing what they can to narrow the gap. Until this gap narrows, SA will never be a truly equal and fair society. It’s not about them and us, it’s about doing what you can and everyone becoming ‘us’.
19 Sep 2011, 19:58 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-547: yawn…
the smilie would indicate it was said in jest, but continue…
19 Sep 2011, 20:00 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-546:
Your point being?
I did a bit of research. According to wikipedia there was less then 10,000 people left in New Zealand in 1995 who could Maori. That’s roughly 1 in 400 by today’s population.
Then you consider that many of them were elderly. That would make that number closer to 1 in 800.
You want me to believe that you are a young male who speaks Maori against those odds? And refuse to prove it even though you’re more then happy to pull anything else out of your behind?
You’re a liar. Simple as that.
19 Sep 2011, 20:03 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-550: Yes, you thought it was a joke… Exactly my point.
Like you think some of the stupidity you have typed today is funny, competitive or in anyway likeable…
Exposed totally for what you are. There is no such thing as the “Pops” posters used to affectionately refer to…
I saw through the likes of you and Panty months back – you just proved me exactly right
19 Sep 2011, 20:04 pm
10000 people in 95, 110 000 in 2006.
obviously your education didn’t include simple mathematics did it?
19 Sep 2011, 20:07 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-541: Got to go Jock but I am observant.. the comment was tongue in cheek about Nazis and Nazi apologist. The latter are always hard to identify but here on Keo, the facades are easily removed..
Got to go
19 Sep 2011, 20:08 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-549:
It’s dangerous yes, but still correct. How else can you justify affirmative action, or refusing entry for whites to universities in favor of blacks who aren’t nearly as educated? They should be creating more oppurtunities for blacks, not taking those oppurtunities away from whites. Simple as that. Can’t blame immigrants for wanting out of a country that doesn’t allow them fair oppurtunities despite Mandela saying no race would ever be oppressed again, or calling themselves the rainbow nation.
In New Zealand for example they try to better educate Maori (with no huge success) by granting them far more scholarships and so forth. Not by telling the white kids they can’t go unless there’s a fair amount of Maori students also.
You can’t have someone like Malema threatening to take peoples land Mugabe style, and then say they aren’t trying to screw them. It’s a dangerous game to play, but one they’ll have to eventually.
19 Sep 2011, 20:09 pm
anyone want a laugh?
youtube flash haka and watch the fools dance lmao! (i swear i saw poppa, he was the one with no rythym)
these okes take themselves so seriously they deserve a hiding just to get a dose of reality.

that’s the real tragedy, but hey, you got me a good one. well done son.
19 Sep 2011, 20:09 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-553:
Fluent you fool! That means being able to say more then hello and goodbye. Obviously you didn’t spend enough time in class.
19 Sep 2011, 20:10 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-551:
I’m not particularly sympathetic towards poppa, he can more than hold his own. What I object to is the dismissal of Maoris, the original colonisers of NZ (although only by about 100 years) as an insignificant minority. It’s no different to recent English immigrants to SA demeaning Afrikaners and their language. At least white Kiwis have acknowledged their past and embraced the Maori heritage as a significant part of their national identity.
19 Sep 2011, 20:13 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-558: There is no “getting” here, “son”… You have put yourself below the horizon yourself… Spose Capo needs the company.
19 Sep 2011, 20:15 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-556:
In their minds, they are a far bigger and more powerful country then in reality. And Maori are happy to force their culture down everyones throats, but assault the NZ Prime Minister because he is white up in Waitangi. They demand respect, but don’t give that same respect to anyone elses culture. Warning to all Asians especially. Unless you’ve got a strong personality, you’re better off in Australia.
19 Sep 2011, 20:16 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-561: Just a quick one: Funny what the pressure of this RWC is having on some of you “true blue” AB supporters, hey?

I understand that this was all done in good spirits but I’ve never been a fan of busting out a haka to? show off or sell a product – especially when people don’t even know the words or actions. It’s something that I feel is special to NZ culture and it’s getting banded about for the wrong reasons.

hmmm, so it seems divvy was on target again?
how many times must we see the kiwis stick out their tongues at us before we say something?
19 Sep 2011, 20:20 pm
@David(David)-560:
Fair enough. Maybe I’ve taken it a little far trying to pi55 him off, but didn’t exactly accuse Maori of being anything more then over enthusiastic about their own culture and disrespectful of others. I think you’d think most Kiwis would agree with that statement.
I was trying to point out the ‘victim complex’ that poppa & tecumseh seem to have going. Need to stop blaming others for their problems and realise the world is a hard place to live in.
19 Sep 2011, 20:21 pm
That’s life, it ain’t fair. It wasn’t fair for a lot of black folks, now it isn’t so fair for a few white folks.
Yes, we know the standards must rise and not fall, but how do you do that quickly and still please the voting public enough to keep your job as a politician?
Simple, you introduce a middle ground. AA and varsity places in the short term is just one measure.
Not good to lower standards, and especially not good if you are a white kid trying to make his way and you can’t get a job. But better for a black kid who’s parents don’t have the means to support him due to the inequality of the past and it’s the only way to uplift a whole family sometimes. Generally speaking, white folks have the support structure in place and an unemployed kid can be absorbed.
Simplistic yes, but any other suggestions are welcome of a way to regress the balance somewhat, but still keep the majority happy.
As I say, we all have a part to play and we must all do what we can for those less fortunate..
19 Sep 2011, 20:23 pm
How ironic that the two freedom fighters (capo and poopystain) taking on all the nasty racists are ther onlu two people to have dropped the K Bomb on this forum.
Ironic much?
Nom nom nom…
19 Sep 2011, 20:23 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-564:
Divvy had it 100% right. Like I said, many Maori would agree that it’s become far too much ‘for show’, that the novelty has worn off because it’s being performed far too regularly.
Poppa just has something up his behind that doesn’t make him see it. He probably thinks doing a haka at every street corner is going to bring the tourists back. In reality they’re going to go somewhere where they aren’t harrassed with a war dance every time they look up.
19 Sep 2011, 20:25 pm
@David(David)-560: well i dont know what i have stumbled into but white kiwis dancing around doing the hokey pokey in barcelona and such places is just pathetic really.
and disrespectful.
then again, we can all be mcdonalds burger eaters i suppose.
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-562: well its funny they dont like asians, they are asian, from taiwan originally.
how sad.
i dont know any maoris i just find the hokey pokey flashdance quite amusing (oooooooooooooooh, its meant to be scary i suppose, wonder how they would cope with an amaZulu impi?)

for educational purposes.
i would show my children how stupid you can look in public if you try hard enough.
p.s. didnt the maori eat everyone they could catch when they arrived in NZ?

@rangerman(rangerman)-564: after late night out with the boys, my wife does the Haka.
Lot of visuals but no sound
19 Sep 2011, 20:28 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-566:
More money into education. Look at Ireland to see what throwing money at the problem, as well as managing it correctly can do. You’re never going to upskill if you’ve got youth coming through who still can’t read or write properly.
When that happens, then you can give them all equal and fair oppurtunities to get a higher education. No one needs to miss out unfairly.
At the moment it’s a case of trying to force the situation. It also means the standards are lowered. Universities have to pass a certian amount of students minimum… meaning they can all be thick and a large majority will still get through. When you have the best… then they will get the best education.
19 Sep 2011, 20:32 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-573:
They ate the Mori-Ori’s. They’d have you believe that the Mori-Ori’s are a fictional race created by the Europeans to justify their treatment of the Maori… but that’s a lie.
I don’t have any problem with the haka as a welcoming thing. It’s part of the culture and can actually be very entertaining. But like you said, when people do it who don’t know the words & can’t do it properly, they look foolish. If anything doing an impromptu haka should be frowned upon.
19 Sep 2011, 20:39 pm
Poops you deny dropping the kbomb you scumfeeding mothafucker?
Revolting creature.
Are you working a double shift at the mall pondlife?
19 Sep 2011, 20:40 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-566:
I think that SA whites don’t understand the advantages that they’ve inherited. A superior education system as a society: land ownership that gets inherited and the wealth (however small) being passed on. Most whites today are also ignorant of the labour act that confined black people to menial jobs with no opportunity to ever improve their lot in life.
As for AA at university, it’s a poisened chalice. The preference for blacks over whites doesn’t really extend to the professions that we need the most where there is a dearth of applicants of either race.
Where we’ve screwed up is in believing that a university education is the way to a successfull career, whereas the country is in dire need of artisans. Hell, I cringe every time I call the plumber.

If anything I’m standing up for your culture. I said it was taking away from the novelty of the whole ordeal by being performed by a bunch of clowns who don’t know what they’re doing. You then played it out in your head as a white man having a problem with the haka, or anything Maori, which is very untrue.

@hendrikp(hendrikp)-600: ah, dont bring a logicgun to a whinefight ok?
poops is only 1/36 maori so he couldnt quite qualify for those ancestral benefits (barring the free bus rides to work-who wants that sh it?).
but he can flashhaka with the best of them.

@rangerman(rangerman)-593:
Trying to avoid? Shoshaloza was sung by indentured miners and prisoners and no white could ever appreciate the underlying cultural meaning., and I include myself.
19 Sep 2011, 21:04 pm
@JL1(JL1)-606:
Can’t expect much more. You can’t reason with someone who comes in swinging.
Don’t forget he probably thinks he’s only looking out for his black brothers and that racism doesn’t occur against white people. Only blacks can play victim when it comes to racism.
19 Sep 2011, 21:04 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-605:
its actually the missionary maori munchies macarena.
but yours will suffice for brevity’s sake.

none of them would have given poops a second of their time.
19 Sep 2011, 21:10 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-609: Unbelievable how he tries his racist sht and does not even recognise it anymore as being racist and then claims I did not know
Oh he knew, let me tell you he knew exactly,same as many others in many other parts of the world also know the K-Bomb
19 Sep 2011, 21:11 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-614: He did take it back, but now I wonder if he actually meant to take it back

19 Sep 2011, 21:14 pm
@JL1(JL1)-617: ag its easy to take things like that back when called out but seriously, if you really wish someone dead over comments on an anonymous blog then what does that say about you as a person?
surely its all a bit too much?
19 Sep 2011, 21:14 pm
real classy guy…
19 Sep 2011, 21:14 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-610: Hehehe. Saw your post earlier about a proper Zulu dance in comparison… I reckon the umghubha (Mshini will know all the names… I forget) is to the Haka like Black Sabbath to farken Ace of Base in comparison… It hasn’t been culturally appropriated because its too farken dangerous… will scare the children proper. And no fake bulging eyes involved either.
19 Sep 2011, 21:15 pm
funny thing, south africans will welcome almost anybody into their homes.
i say almost because we reserve the right to refuse entry to c oc ks like poopa.

when people gang up en masse on one lone individual they cease to resemble humans then they are far more akin to resembling a pack of wolf hounds on the prairie sniffling for the remains of a kill
sad to see a pack of so called elevated and educated saffas all having a generous dig at one sole lone blogger from another country because he perhaps represents the big rivalry that exists on a sporting front it comes down to a whole array of digs and counter digs forever and a day without ANY potential settlement or common ground ever to be attained.. sick.. sad .. and totally unnecessary and counter productive under ANY kind of common level of human or humane decency..

@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-638: thanks skop, but I deserve the bagging…

i was under the impression it was a chant by an oke who hid in a hole so his enemies didnt long pig roast him?
so can the nasty afrikaners pretend to point rifles at the next haka?

I give up. S all too much!
19 Sep 2011, 21:38 pm
@Dawn(Dawn)-639: Let me tell you something from experience Dawn.. when people of one denomination or brood or breed or creed or population group gang up and undermine and victimize one sole lone individual he may reach for the lowest common denominator in his arsenal in order to fight back.. it might be an instinctive reaction to try hurl an insult equal to or equivalent to the one he is receiving from the other quarter except in some cases it becomes a losing battle when it is One against the throes of a gang … so I don’t really know who Poppa is further than what I can glean from his posts but I don’t get the impression he is an outright vindictive or racially driven hating type of individual.. though I can’t say exactly the same for some of his antagonistic aggressors here who seem to revel in the way they gang together like a pack of ravenous wolves eking out a lame defenseless creature for a kill.
19 Sep 2011, 21:39 pm
it’s always someone else’s fault…
19 Sep 2011, 21:39 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-651: not at all… saying I deserved the bagging is blaming other people? ok then…
19 Sep 2011, 21:40 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-630: Loving that team. Nice to see Ratel being rested. Would have preferred FdP getting more game time though. Like the fact Aplon is getting a game – hopefully he can really stake a claim – but against Namibia a bit pointless.
19 Sep 2011, 21:41 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-656: whatever Poppa, your acceptance of the “bagging” was subject to the following insincere caveat:
whats funny though, is the many who continually egg me on whenever I blog, like they derive some great personal satisfaction in seeing me go overboard… so let them go…
You ARE blaming others for your poor behaviour.
YOU reap what you sow.
19 Sep 2011, 21:42 pm
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-638: ag shut your mouth you old fairy.

you should have taken your own advice and left keo for good because you have a problem controlling yourself imo.

laterz kidz, play nice.
19 Sep 2011, 21:44 pm
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-654:
Let me give you a run down.
I said that the constant performance of the Haka at every street-corner is overkill. That Divvy was correct because it takes away from the big occasions when it is performed. It’s no longer a novelty. Then he flipped out calling the Afrikaners every name under the sun. He was too stupid to realise that I was actually saying what I did because I don’t like seeing the Haka being run down like it is. He played out this whole story in his head about white people trying to slander the blacks – accusing us of being murderers, with the assistance of his good friend Tecumseh.
That’s the basic run down.
19 Sep 2011, 21:44 pm
@wooden spoon(wooden spoon)-658: you the fcking authority on reaping and sowing .. who taught you the principles of as ye sow so shall ye reap.. you get that taught to you in your barristers school with your pissified big wig on?

@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-657:
The only thing that worries me is that Spies is given another run against a minnow to prove, what? He didn’t perform against Wales or the ABs and Wobblies in the 3N, so why should he be expected to raise his game against the same teams in the KO rounds?
19 Sep 2011, 21:52 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-661: What exactly is the purpose of these incongruous and absolutely unnecessary comparisons and oneupmanship exercises if NOT to show you somehow better than somebody else…
So some people hold the haka dear to their heritage like you hold boerewors and jukskei with some fond esteem … It means nothing to you, what you making an issue about somebody else’s culture for when it in fact bears absolutely no relevance to your existence in this universe one little bit ?
19 Sep 2011, 21:57 pm
Joh poops afrikaans HAS improved.
But he NEVER knew what the kbomb meant.
What a lying piece of scum.
Mrs Poopstain must be so proud of her little maladjusted pondlife.
19 Sep 2011, 21:58 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-661: and I got no time for that tecumseh character who will take any opportunity he finds to use it as a tool to have a go at the white man and especially the Afrikaner.. unfortunately Poppa was caught in a cleft stick unable to define his position and allowed himself to get swayed beyond the point of reason but he is not that kind of person..
19 Sep 2011, 21:58 pm
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-669:
When was an issue made out of his culture?
The Haka has been performed far too much. FACT. You’d find a lot of Maori agree with you that not anybody should just be doing it inside a shopping mall for giggles. It’s disrespectful and takes away from the novelty of it all.
He then jumped at the chance to make something out of nothing, calling out Afrikaners as rapists, murderers etc. and using words like dutchy to describe us, despite knowing it’s offensive.
Excuse me for not just letting it go.
19 Sep 2011, 21:58 pm
@David(David)-668: Yup. You have a point and I dunno the answer to that. Burger and Ratel are like siamese twins now they are operating so well together. Maybe Alberts but at 7 with Burger at 8. But he would be the second best solution at 7 considering how well Burger is starting to play. Not sure how well he will perform at 8 in conjunction with Ratel and Schalk, but if its a tough game it might just be the ticket… Then Spies on as impact 8 a la Skinstad in the early years of Mallet.
19 Sep 2011, 22:02 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-666: Hey, punk you have no room or credibility to try and point out any “injustice” or “duplicity” with any poster, perceived or otherwise after the absolute filth you spewed here today.
19 Sep 2011, 22:02 pm
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-671:
He was there backing up everything Tecumseh had to say. You don’t hand someone a gun to kill someone with (knowing exactly what was happening) and then say you didn’t do anything.
He should be ashamed of himself. If Westfield knew what he was doing during work hours he’d be fired.
19 Sep 2011, 22:02 pm
wrong choice to go Alberts at 6 what the fck they thinking?
Louw is on bench so obviously Alberts going to 4 after 30-40 min and Louw coming on for Burger with Ratel replacing Alberts, but still a really STUPID way to start..
19 Sep 2011, 22:03 pm
@Gunther(gunther)-670:
bringing my mum into it now, should I respond in kind and mention your old man? you opened that door spiderman, continue and expect it back…
19 Sep 2011, 22:04 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-673:
I reckon Schalk would be better at 8, with Alberts at 7. Schalk is first and foremost a destroyer, and 8 would give him the space and freedom to chase down attackers, whilst Alberts is primarily a bullocking ball carrier.
19 Sep 2011, 22:05 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-674: Nope you in exactly the same boat as Poppa one insult don’t cancel out or eradicate another no matter you think yours smells sweet as sugar candy and his is vile rotten stench.. it don’t work that way, one insult traded in the heat of battle is just as vile as the next..

This is overkill for Namibia.. they don’t need Burger and Spies and Alberts on the field together one or the other and share 6 and 7 between Louw and Brussow with Burger and Spies and Alberts sharing possible 7 and 8
Bakkies also totally unnecessary and JdJ should get a run at 12 or 13 rather sooner than later Fourie can take a break.
Am liking the fact that Aplon is on the other wing and Habana gets a chance to get his mojo back.. Hope Bissie not miffed he’s nowhere near the 22 .. hope he don’t feel left out for the aura once again..

19 Sep 2011, 22:20 pm
Sh*t, even the SABC soapie writers would cringe at the quality of the dialogue and simulated outrage being exchanged here.
19 Sep 2011, 22:20 pm
And spare me the bullsht about offending your culture. That’s about like someone mocking a moustache and me getting all offended.
You don’t even speak the language. And how often do you haka? (Yes, I believe the word has been verbed). Oh yes, I forgot. Between morning parade and your mall shift.
19 Sep 2011, 22:22 pm
@wooden spoon(wooden spoon)-690: Yeah if I wanna insult you you will know ALL about it.. I won’t hold back.. I’ll call you the absolute worst names possible under the sun.. so take your snooty little fanny wobbling attitude of piepiejoller superiority and go stick it up your fanny wobbling little pissified sissified arse .. You are in absolutly NO position to castigate Poppa about ANYTHING or you seriously do THINK you are in some SUPERIOR fucked up self aggrandized class .. you dumb little imbecile of a f’ng moron..

@JockBok(JockBok)-694:
Probably shouldn’t sink to his level, you’re right. But points to him playing victim, AGAIN!
Wants people to feel sorry for him while he makes fun of aids, rape victims, paedophilia. Calls people on here he’s never mets family murderers… I could care less about his mother. There are millions of other people in this world who haven’t had near as long a life so I’ll worry about them first.
19 Sep 2011, 22:25 pm
Peoples’ families should be left out of this mess.

@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-695:
Yup, we don’t have much say, do we. I suppose future Bok teams could be selected along the lines of SA Idols, where we get to vote alongside the selectors.

19 Sep 2011, 22:30 pm
ag please how insulting is an anonymous jibe about someone’s mother?
If you actually know the person or his/her mother, then yes, no need for that stuff.
But this feigned shock?… After he has dished out the filth all day?
Please.
19 Sep 2011, 22:31 pm
@David(David)-705: Fark no! That would even be worse than Dippy selecting the team… So far his best “selections” have been through luck, desperation or injury… Ratel vs Schalk in BI Lions… Steyn vs Pienaar in BI Lions, Steyn vs JdV in WC 2011…
Hell no!

poppa, my dear victim.
Don’t try be the good guy now. You should apologise to everyone on here for your racist taunts.
You want my family to be fine, but you’re happy to call them rapists, murderers etc? Smells to me like you’ve run out of weed. The high has passed.
And I’ve had plenty of things happen in my family. I just don’t feel the need to share it with people on here.
19 Sep 2011, 22:33 pm
Although Poeps and Capo were all “hand op die blaas” with each other here, you must please not confuse their cultural song-dances.
Poeps has the Haka Kaka Maori Macarena.
And Capo has that “Young Man” song. You know, the one where you spell out in big arm-letters: “It’s fun to live at the S P C A”

19 Sep 2011, 22:59 pm
Why are most of you so content at arguing about the Haka.
Its what we do. There are 100s of different hakas and most have so much power and intensity to them.
But surely the ones complaining on here about NZ, surely they can put as much effort as they do bagging another country, and put that into making there own country better. You guys dont live in the best country ever. I am sure you have your own problems. I suggest you address them first.
As for the SA living in NZ and complaining about our culture….. you are the ones that should leave,arrogant a$$es

@Hurricane(Hurricane)-753: Of course this discussion escalated somewhat from where it began (largely due to your dimwitted countryman and his vulgar new friend). Initially it was about the cheapening of the custom through sheer saturation – something many Kiwis agree on. Don’t you?
19 Sep 2011, 23:03 pm
Will the vulgar one be willing to help Emma as all she wants is a baby and he will go down into posterity?
Two rights surely beats the c r a p out of one wrong?

@Hurricane(Hurricane)-753: howdy man, a kiwi i enjoy.
mate, read poppas comments through the thread and you will know why we bagged him.
we dont disrespect the haka, just how it has become some kind of everyday pop dance.
its a view so you can use it or not but i doubt it is intended as an attack wether you or poopa want to believe it or not.
19 Sep 2011, 23:06 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-753:
No one ever had a trouble with it. Merely pointed out it’s overkill. Your mate p00per then decided to call all Afrikaners murderers and rapists.
As for leaving your country. Makes quick work of the saying “Kiwis are welcoming” doesn’t it?
19 Sep 2011, 23:07 pm
I see that Brûssow was fined by the Bok management because forwards kicking is not part of Snor and his clowns playing strategy……………………………disgraceful !
19 Sep 2011, 23:08 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-753: Point was no one is against the haka, we all agree that it being watered down by it being overused, it has now become not so special
19 Sep 2011, 23:08 pm
better believe it whatever comes from out of this vulgarity’s mouth is absolute gospel indeed.. even though some fools like you are simply too thick to recognize it.. never mind maybe someday the penny will drop and somebody kind and willing enough will give Emma what she so desperately deserves..

Apparently they’ll do the Haka in the locker room if they weren’t allowed to do it out on the field. Can’t see them doing it at a wall though… there wouldn’t be any point.
I’m happy with them performing it personally. Does make it a little more interesting for some foreigners who don’t quite understand the game, but enjoy the show.

If anyone needed to know about the continued and healthy existence of the ‘Suid Afrikaanse Wit Wolwe’, they most certainly found it at its rabid, racist best on this thread. That explains why the “wolf-pack” and various other pack mentality forms were evoked.
And all on a rugby blog where 95% of the posters do not have there original gene pool emanating out of Africa.
19 Sep 2011, 23:29 pm
@ET.(ET.)-788: fok off, YOU are the racist here.
Racist swine.
19 Sep 2011, 23:32 pm
@ET.(ET.)-788: haha, we ALL have the “original gene pool emanating out of Africa.”
as a scientist surely you should know this?
19 Sep 2011, 23:33 pm
you must wake up ok?
19 Sep 2011, 23:35 pm
@JL1(JL1)-765:
Well i didnt get that point from some of the posts on here.
But i do agree, it is getting done to often,my point of view, which of course isnt always correct.
BUt you have to consider that some Kiwis are so into their culture that they feel the Haka should be done more often.I say let them.
19 Sep 2011, 23:40 pm
@wooden spoon(wooden spoon)-789:
Stupid, you still cannot read to understand?

19 Sep 2011, 23:47 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-792: ja but if visitors to your country or visiting sports teams have to face a haka on every corner then dont expect them to “respect” it.
i would simply walk on but i suspect your media would have triplets and thats the real issue.
@ET.(ET.)-795: huh? modern man originated in africa.

Final thought from wiki:
Anatomically modern humans originated in Africa about 200,000 years ago, reaching full behavioral modernity around 50,000 years ago.
Anatomically modern humans first appear in the fossil record in Africa about 195,000 years ago, and studies of molecular biology give evidence that the approximate time of divergence from the common ancestor of all modern human populations was 200,000 years ago. The broad study of African genetic diversity headed by Dr. Sarah Tishkoff found the San people to express the greatest genetic diversity among the 113 distinct populations sampled, making them one of 14 “ancestral population clusters”. The research also located the origin of modern human migration in south-western Africa, near the coastal border of Namibia and Angola.
The out of Africa migration is estimated to have occurred about 70,000 years BP. Modern humans subsequently spread to all continents, replacing earlier hominids: they inhabited Eurasia and Oceania by 40,000 years BP, and the Americas at least 14,500 years BP.
We are all one.

@ET.(ET.)-805: you didnt leave, you ran.
now for the first time, apoplogise and i will forgive you.

How utterly laughable and shameful to cite “Wiki”
Try a journal article to give it some repectability and credibility, morons.
And realise too that would be merely a school of thought, among many, if it was even from a reputable source.
Now I missed the Samoan Haka so F-off 100 times.

Boesak lashes out at whites
2011-09-20 09:15
Durban – Controversial cleric Allan Boesak has lashed out at white people while delivering the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Steve Biko memorial lecture on black consciousness.
Boesak said white South Africans loved Nelson Mandela more than ***** because even ***** was more “radical” and Mandela did not go too far when taking a stand on social justice, reports The Times.
Boesak added that if Mandela said some of the things ***** had said they wouldn’t like Mandela any more, and that Mandela understood South Africans very well.
He said it was interesting that white people only loved Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu when he talked about forgiveness – but slammed him when he spoke of correcting the social injustices of the past.
Boesak said white people created a false sense of victimhood when social injustice was mentioned.
On the other side of the “false innocence of whiteness” is the false innocence of black elite groups, he said.
“They have made alliances with the old wealthy elite, alliances against the masses and are part of the small 20% of the country’s top elite who now gobble 75% of our GDP while 53% of our masses live in dire poverty and get between 6% and 8% of what is left. That is not black consciousness.
“What we say to white people is you have to leave your false innocence behind,” Boesak said
