Duane Vermeulen is out of the June Tests. Stormers strong man Duane Vermeulen returned home from the Stormers Super Rugby tour because of injury and conservatively won't play again until July. It could be that he is out for the remainder of the Super Rugby season as well because of knee ligament damage. Stormers loose-forward Rynhardt Elstadt is also out for at least six weeks as the Cape-based franchise's season went from bad to worse in Sydney. Vermeulen, Meyer's first choice No 8, will be nursed back to action for the Rugby Championship in August. His injury means a likely Bok start ... Read Article21 May 2013
JP Pietersen is set to miss the remainder of the Super Rugby season. Pietersen left the field of play in the Sharks’ victory over the Force, their final tour game. Pietersen’s scans revealed that the winger, who did duty at outside centre, will require surgery to rectify a groin injury. Pietersen was playing in the 13 jersey following a serious injury to Paul Jordaan and Tim Whitehead not taking part in rugby this season to date. Pietersen’s injury is a big loss for the Sharks, yet the bigger problem is which player will wear the 13 jersey this weekend against the Bulls. The Bulls ... Read Article25 Apr 2013
Jan Serfontein, the player of last year's under 20 World Championship, will head the baby Boks defence in France. Serfontein and Kings wing Sergeal Petersen are two Super Rugby regulars to make Dawie Theron's squad and brilliant flyhalf Handre Pollard is another to play in a second successive tournament. Theron's squad lost a three-match series 2-1 to Argentina in Argentina. Serfontein, Petersen and Western Province's Cheslin Kolbe did not play in those matches. Bulls loose forward Ruan Steenkamp is captain. Serfontein and Pollard are the only two squad members from last year's ... Read Article14 May 2013
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has selected several uncapped Blues players in his training group. Hansen confirmed 38 names and this included many from the potent Blues backline. The Highlanders, despite only winning one match in this year's Super Rugby competition, have six players in the group. An obvious area of weakness is at hooker where Hansen has selected veterans Andrew Hore and Keven Mealamu and Canes Dane Coles. Options are limited and it certainly is a concern for New Zealanders. No overseas-based players were considered, as it is NZRFU policy. Among the uncapped players ... Read Article15 May 2013
French coach Philipe Saint-Andre has included three South African-born players for the three-Test series against the All Blacks in New Zealand. Racing Metro flank Bernard le Roux and Clermont prop Daniel Kotze join Antonie Claassen in a squad that includes eight new caps. Fijian-born Clermont winger Noa Nakaitaci is among the newcomers. Saint-Andre has rested flyhalf Francois Trinh-Duc, but included Toulon's Frederic Michalak. France play world champions New Zealand on June 8, 15 and 22 in Auckland, Hamilton and New Plymouth respectively. French super club Toulon's foreign dominance ... Read Article5 Mar 2013
MARK KEOHANE writes the Varsity Cup in its first year rocked. Since then it's just another professional tournament. The Varsity Cup may have the innovation of doing a few things differently, but what was supposed to be a celebration of student rugby somehow just seems like another tournament, in which the traditional power houses remain the traditional strengths in the tournament. Much has been made of the Port Elizabeth-based Nelson Mandela University display this season and equally there has been bewilderment at how poor Shimlas have been. But it seems the old one two of Stellenbosch University ... Read Article12 May 2013
Marcus Watson scored in extra time to beat the Blitzbokke in the London World Series Sevens Cup quarter-finals. The teams were level 14-all at full time. Watson's try came four minutes into extra time. England won 19-14. England had the chance to win the match with the last play of the game in normal time. They were awarded a penalty and opted to take a drop kick for goal. It missed. Watson then rounded off a move after England had retained possession for two minutes. South Africa suffered further embarrassment when they lost for a second time in the tournament to the USA and were eliminated ... Read Article8 Jan 2013
Limpopo will play in the Vodacom Cup as a separate side for the first time this year. The region, which is a sub-union of the Blue Bulls Rugby Union, has been granted a place in the tournament in its own rights to help foster rugby in South Africa’s far north. They join the 14 provincial unions as well as the returning Pampas XV from Argentina in the tournament, which kicks off in the second week of March and concludes in mid-May. The Polokwane-based Limpopo team will play in the North Section of the competition, along with the Blue Bulls, Golden Lions, Griffons, Leopards, Pumas, Valke ... Read Article19 Sep 2011

@poppa69(poppa69)-496:
Bet you’re chuffed now Pops.
Tease, tease, chip away, a bit more teasing, a few words in his mouth and then viola, you have the outcome you wanted.
Well done.
19 Sep 2011, 19:17 pm
@Gunther(gunther)-487: I broke 89kgs this morning but that is probably due to a good flush out… piled up Springbok scrum after being fked over by wales
Hows the stain removal process going.. has your missus wondered why you are showing such little interest in her new lingerie set.. not as hot as Andres pants??
19 Sep 2011, 19:18 pm
@JL1(JL1)-500: FIGJAM
F..CK I AM GOOD JUST ASK ME
19 Sep 2011, 19:18 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-498: saving your lil mate are we?
how very tough of you… leave hendrik alone, apparently hes edumacated (obvious error) , he can tell if someone can speak a language without ever having met that person..
classic…
19 Sep 2011, 19:19 pm
“go little dutchboy”… Hmm, followed by “your racist tendencies are there for all to see”….
Maori “education”?
19 Sep 2011, 19:20 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-504: Just bendover… again… You’ve been doing it all day.
19 Sep 2011, 19:21 pm
@JL1(JL1)-503:
Ha, saved me a post there. I was just about to ask

@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-506: eah right…youd love that wouldnt you?

19 Sep 2011, 19:21 pm
@JL1(JL1)-503: Yep, ask yourself
19 Sep 2011, 19:22 pm
@David(David)-494:
I’m perfectly balanced. I just don’t buy into the whole ‘victim’ thing these two have got going on. And having a bit of fun at the same time.
@poppa69(poppa69)-496:
Should put your dictionary down. Big words aren’t going to convince me you’re anything more then a window-washer.
And you don’t speak Maori fluently. Like I said, if you claim to, then you are a liar because hardly anyone speaks it. It’s a dead language being shoved down everyones throat at a young age because NZ government want to be seen in a positive light regarding race relations. That’s why they assure the Maori party seats in parliament, even if they didn’t get a single vote. White people get blamed for the state of Maori health, education etc. and then have to fork out to try make things better. Not to mention 99% of scholarships are reserved for Maori’s.
19 Sep 2011, 19:23 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-510: really? I dont speak maori fluently?
ok then idiot… you obviously have met me and have conversed with me in person…
now youre really making yourself look stupid… continue…
19 Sep 2011, 19:24 pm
@youknowwho(youknowwho)-509: Ag shame, dont be so sour. You share a nickname with Kevin Pietersen
19 Sep 2011, 19:25 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-510:
157,110 New Zealand residents claimed they could converse in Maori about everyday things, in the 2006 Census.
yep, its a dead language alright..
for someone whose supposedly educated, isnt it about time you started to use that education???
19 Sep 2011, 19:26 pm
Here is a good bit of trivia.. Heard it on QI(bbc show)
Who snubbed Jesse Owens after his feat at the 1936 Olympics
19 Sep 2011, 19:27 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-511:
Tell you what then. Translate your whole post (511) into Maori for me.
Also this phrase: “We now own the foreshore, but we can’t sell it or deny anyone entry”
Then I’ll have it checked.
I expect that you won’t because you can’t speak Maori. You’re a liar is all.
19 Sep 2011, 19:27 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-513: 157 110
Hahahaha, you should have never posted that number
You can almost name them
19 Sep 2011, 19:29 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-508: Prefer shagging Maoris myself… They dont know when to stop…
See now you are trying to use personal info against me Poops… But banshee aint personal so it aint working…
But the is showing how low you truly have got…. Capo-esque.
Now if I was so inclined there would be plenty of info (eg your family etc) to try and get a similar dig in at you… But I wont. So continue to make yourself look like the cuntyou so obviously have proven yourself to be… I dont have to.
19 Sep 2011, 19:29 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-498:
You get the odd individual who tries to play peace-maker. Good on David for actually feeling sympathetic towards these two.
But personally I call it as I see it. If someone accuses me of being AWB-loving who escaped from South Africa because of the blacks and call me dutch boy, I have every right to defend myself
I haven’t crossed the line anywhere, whereas these two have clearly. Oh well
19 Sep 2011, 19:30 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-517: “but the” should be “but this”
19 Sep 2011, 19:30 pm
@youknowwho(youknowwho)-514:
Oh, oh, I know, i know.
Can’t remember which one but it was the yank president. Everyone would think it was Hitler but it wasn’t.
19 Sep 2011, 19:31 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-513:
Saying Kia Ora isn’t speaking fluent Maori is it?
That’s like me saying Guten Abend once a day and claiming to speak German fluently.
19 Sep 2011, 19:31 pm
@JL1(JL1)-512: Your moment of brilliance?? fk, how lame is that.. Helen is probably shaking her head in disgust.. you not even on her scale
19 Sep 2011, 19:33 pm
@JL1(JL1)-516:
Surprisingly small number for me, I thought it would be higher based on nothing other than my own preconceptions. .
I reckon there’ll be more ‘Jedi Knights’ than Maori’s in that case.
19 Sep 2011, 19:34 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-520: FDR… makes you wonder who your friends are.. so excuse me for never having a drink with you
19 Sep 2011, 19:35 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-521: well done, you know how to say hello..
and I dont have to prove whether I can te reo maori or not, I know I can..
19 Sep 2011, 19:35 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-515: It should go a little something like this: “Hey bro its mine, bud we kant do shiit or tell anione to peace off”!
19 Sep 2011, 19:35 pm
Apprently being able to say “hi”, “how are you” & “I’m good” in Maori is speaking fluently. Must not be many words in that dictionary.
19 Sep 2011, 19:36 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-518: Good on you. Nothing like the absolute drivel these two scum have posted on these few pages. The leveraging of what they may consider personal stuff to try and “get at you” is the level apart… The bottom level…
It will be a laugh how Black “Carly Simon” Panty might try and excuse Poopers behaviour now… But never underestimate these fools’ ability for duplicity
19 Sep 2011, 19:37 pm
@HongKongSlong(HongKongSlong)-526:
Bay instead of bro of course. You get the odd groups who hang around and try charge people for access to the beach, but a quick call to the police usually solves that problem.
19 Sep 2011, 19:38 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-528: @hendrikp(hendrikp)-527: @HongKongSlong(HongKongSlong)-526: dutch boys unite..
time to do it for the fatherland..
onward racist soldiers…
“the cowards are scared”
19 Sep 2011, 19:38 pm
@HongKongSlong(HongKongSlong)-526: FARKLOLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!
19 Sep 2011, 19:39 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-525:
You don’t seem the type to let something like that go. You’d jump at the chance to prove me wrong if you could, but you can’t, so yes… you are a LIAR.
19 Sep 2011, 19:40 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-530: Poops, please continue… I’m loving the fact I dont have to do anything for you to prove yourself as an absolute unmitigated cnt…
Maybe its your path to relevance… Ole Macarena
19 Sep 2011, 19:40 pm
@youknowwho(youknowwho)-524:
Errr, I’m not FDR. What has that got to do with me?
Or are you being one of those true fu.cking idiots who equates previous and commonly shared views on race and the superiority of the white man and transfers it into today?
Really, why do South Africans think they have the sole claim to being oppressed? Well maybe not all, just the stupid big mouths like you.
The whole European and settler world was constitutionally racist until a relatively short period of time ago. Some relinquished quicker than others but yes, ALL WHITE PEOPLE WERE RACIST. Now stop being a twat and pull yourself into the 21st century.
19 Sep 2011, 19:40 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-532: again, continue with your assumptions… it must be because you are educated huh?
19 Sep 2011, 19:43 pm
@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-533: takes one to know one HG, and you sir are a prized cnut..
coward…
19 Sep 2011, 19:43 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-530:
What is your basis for calling us racist soldiers? Simple question.
19 Sep 2011, 19:44 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-537: what was the basis for apartheid?
therein lies your answer…
19 Sep 2011, 19:44 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-535:
Pretty much. It makes sense that education should affect your intellegence.
19 Sep 2011, 19:45 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-536: Oh, its slipping Nearly there….
19 Sep 2011, 19:46 pm
@youknowwho(youknowwho)-524:
In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think this is quite truly the most stupid statement on this website today, and Capo has been on for a while.
I’m speechless at where to begin with this. It’s relevance to the time was total and unashamed. I love it when people say ‘Lincoln was a racist you know’. Of course he was, they all were. And only until a few years ago in the grand scale of things.
Fark, i actually thought you might have had something up top Shaun, but it’s clear you are just another victim without a fuckkingg clue why.
19 Sep 2011, 19:46 pm
@JockBok(JockBok)-534:
It’s not about the oppression anymore. It’s because the white man drives around in a flash car and lives in a nice house. They then make excuses to try screw the white man out of his belongings. Simple.
19 Sep 2011, 19:46 pm
Pops and tecumtwat. You have reached new lows today.
Eye opener.
19 Sep 2011, 19:49 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-538:
We’ve been through this you fool. Afrikaners voted for a party that gave them and their people the best deal. They weren’t all politicians. At the time the Afrikaners were a reasonably poor nation who had been oppressed by the dirty English, and farm attacks were as regular as they are now.
South Africa definitely isn’t the only country where these things happened. It happened in New Zealand as well. It is still happening in Australia. Does that make every single white man to walk this planet a racist soldier?
19 Sep 2011, 19:49 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-539: so, you cant answer that question or you refuse to??
surely an educated man like yourself would be able to define the answer based on 60 odd years of oppression?
19 Sep 2011, 19:52 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-544: so what youre saying is Afrikaners “voted” for apartheid?
eish..
19 Sep 2011, 19:53 pm
Just a quick recap to make sure we understand Pooper’s “humour”

@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-547: A joke about millions of deaths in response to some digs at the overexposure of the AB macarena…
Howzat for perspective…? Pooperperspective truly.
19 Sep 2011, 19:57 pm
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-542:
It’s not about oppression, yes, but sorry Hendrik, I disagree with the rest of it. That thinking is outdated and dangerous to South Africa today.
Times have changed and people are aware more of the struggles fellow citizens are having on there very doorsteps. But there are a lot of people who have to be uplifted and it is a big job to do in practice. Thankfully the formerly privileged people recognise this and even small initiatives like Lead SA are becoming more popular and relevant in rich peoples lives.
In my experience, many people spend a lot of time doing what they can to narrow the gap. Until this gap narrows, SA will never be a truly equal and fair society. It’s not about them and us, it’s about doing what you can and everyone becoming ‘us’.
19 Sep 2011, 19:58 pm
