Duane Vermeulen is out of the June Tests. Stormers strong man Duane Vermeulen returned home from the Stormers Super Rugby tour because of injury and conservatively won't play again until July. It could be that he is out for the remainder of the Super Rugby season as well because of knee ligament damage. Stormers loose-forward Rynhardt Elstadt is also out for at least six weeks as the Cape-based franchise's season went from bad to worse in Sydney. Vermeulen, Meyer's first choice No 8, will be nursed back to action for the Rugby Championship in August. His injury means a likely Bok start ... Read Article18 May 2013

Jan Serfontein, the player of last year's under 20 World Championship, will head the baby Boks defence in France. Serfontein and Kings wing Sergeal Petersen are two Super Rugby regulars to make Dawie Theron's squad and brilliant flyhalf Handre Pollard is another to play in a second successive tournament. Theron's squad lost a three-match series 2-1 to Argentina in Argentina. Serfontein, Petersen and Western Province's Cheslin Kolbe did not play in those matches. Bulls loose forward Ruan Steenkamp is captain. Serfontein and Pollard are the only two squad members from last year's ... Read Article14 May 2013
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has selected several uncapped Blues players in his training group. Hansen confirmed 38 names and this included many from the potent Blues backline. The Highlanders, despite only winning one match in this year's Super Rugby competition, have six players in the group. An obvious area of weakness is at hooker where Hansen has selected veterans Andrew Hore and Keven Mealamu and Canes Dane Coles. Options are limited and it certainly is a concern for New Zealanders. No overseas-based players were considered, as it is NZRFU policy. Among the uncapped players ... Read Article15 May 2013
French coach Philipe Saint-Andre has included three South African-born players for the three-Test series against the All Blacks in New Zealand. Racing Metro flank Bernard le Roux and Clermont prop Daniel Kotze join Antonie Claassen in a squad that includes eight new caps. Fijian-born Clermont winger Noa Nakaitaci is among the newcomers. Saint-Andre has rested flyhalf Francois Trinh-Duc, but included Toulon's Frederic Michalak. France play world champions New Zealand on June 8, 15 and 22 in Auckland, Hamilton and New Plymouth respectively. French super club Toulon's foreign dominance ... Read Article5 Mar 2013
MARK KEOHANE writes the Varsity Cup in its first year rocked. Since then it's just another professional tournament. The Varsity Cup may have the innovation of doing a few things differently, but what was supposed to be a celebration of student rugby somehow just seems like another tournament, in which the traditional power houses remain the traditional strengths in the tournament. Much has been made of the Port Elizabeth-based Nelson Mandela University display this season and equally there has been bewilderment at how poor Shimlas have been. But it seems the old one two of Stellenbosch University ... Read Article12 May 2013
Marcus Watson scored in extra time to beat the Blitzbokke in the London World Series Sevens Cup quarter-finals. The teams were level 14-all at full time. Watson's try came four minutes into extra time. England won 19-14. England had the chance to win the match with the last play of the game in normal time. They were awarded a penalty and opted to take a drop kick for goal. It missed. Watson then rounded off a move after England had retained possession for two minutes. South Africa suffered further embarrassment when they lost for a second time in the tournament to the USA and were eliminated ... Read Article8 Jan 2013
Limpopo will play in the Vodacom Cup as a separate side for the first time this year. The region, which is a sub-union of the Blue Bulls Rugby Union, has been granted a place in the tournament in its own rights to help foster rugby in South Africa’s far north. They join the 14 provincial unions as well as the returning Pampas XV from Argentina in the tournament, which kicks off in the second week of March and concludes in mid-May. The Polokwane-based Limpopo team will play in the North Section of the competition, along with the Blue Bulls, Golden Lions, Griffons, Leopards, Pumas, Valke ... Read Article19 Sep 2011

That’s a nice place.

@ET.(ET.)-742: you just into slithering up sanctimonious friendly wide agape backsides.. that to me is the ultimate in vulgarity of any nature.. can’t get any worse vulgar than that in the relatively free zone of what vulgar comprises where I come from .. arsecreeping in my estimation represents far worse a morally objectionable crime than any swearing and blinding in my almanac of what vulgarity comprises

Why are most of you so content at arguing about the Haka.
Its what we do. There are 100s of different hakas and most have so much power and intensity to them.
But surely the ones complaining on here about NZ, surely they can put as much effort as they do bagging another country, and put that into making there own country better. You guys dont live in the best country ever. I am sure you have your own problems. I suggest you address them first.
As for the SA living in NZ and complaining about our culture….. you are the ones that should leave,arrogant a$$es

@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-725: thanks nobody.

@hendrikp(hendrikp)-729: ja, its all good like the 1 million that died in the mfecane in southern africa.
or was it 2 million?
who knows, but it was shaka and his cohorts that caused it.
19 Sep 2011, 23:02 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-753: Of course this discussion escalated somewhat from where it began (largely due to your dimwitted countryman and his vulgar new friend). Initially it was about the cheapening of the custom through sheer saturation – something many Kiwis agree on. Don’t you?
19 Sep 2011, 23:03 pm
Will the vulgar one be willing to help Emma as all she wants is a baby and he will go down into posterity?
Two rights surely beats the c r a p out of one wrong?
19 Sep 2011, 23:03 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-753: Dunno why but I tend to find so much more simple uncomplicated reasoning from these foreigners than these complicated saffas with all their moralities all screwed up and confused in knots
Keep it coming Tana
19 Sep 2011, 23:04 pm
Who is this tool on Keo TV ?
19 Sep 2011, 23:05 pm
And is the word or simple notion of the vulgar now gospel?
19 Sep 2011, 23:05 pm
@wpforever(wpforever)-758: Don’t know have nt even bothered watching the rubbish
19 Sep 2011, 23:06 pm

@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-747: skopskiet, you deserve a ru n ning f uk slap.
but you have probably had a few already and they dont seem to have helped.
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-753: howdy man, a kiwi i enjoy.
mate, read poppas comments through the thread and you will know why we bagged him.
we dont disrespect the haka, just how it has become some kind of everyday pop dance.
its a view so you can use it or not but i doubt it is intended as an attack wether you or poopa want to believe it or not.
19 Sep 2011, 23:06 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-753:
No one ever had a trouble with it. Merely pointed out it’s overkill. Your mate p00per then decided to call all Afrikaners murderers and rapists.
As for leaving your country. Makes quick work of the saying “Kiwis are welcoming” doesn’t it?
19 Sep 2011, 23:07 pm
I see that Brûssow was fined by the Bok management because forwards kicking is not part of Snor and his clowns playing strategy……………………………disgraceful !
19 Sep 2011, 23:08 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-753: Point was no one is against the haka, we all agree that it being watered down by it being overused, it has now become not so special
19 Sep 2011, 23:08 pm
better believe it whatever comes from out of this vulgarity’s mouth is absolute gospel indeed.. even though some fools like you are simply too thick to recognize it.. never mind maybe someday the penny will drop and somebody kind and willing enough will give Emma what she so desperately deserves..
19 Sep 2011, 23:10 pm
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-757: you find it because you have the weakling gene of some saffas that forces you onto your knees in front of anything forren (as in: i luuurve it when you talks forren!).
its pathetic and cringeworthy but like criminals, your type will always be with us.
19 Sep 2011, 23:10 pm
@wpforever(wpforever)-764:
It was probably like R20 or something man. Lots of teams have silly rules like these to keep things fun and also stop stupid things like forwards putting in unnecessary chip kicks etc.
19 Sep 2011, 23:10 pm
@wpforever(wpforever)-764: Fun and game fines, sounds like they have a great team spirit going

@ET.(ET.)-774:
Are you trying to rewrite sociology with such simplistic K a K?
19 Sep 2011, 23:15 pm
@cab(cab)-771:
Apparently they’ll do the Haka in the locker room if they weren’t allowed to do it out on the field. Can’t see them doing it at a wall though… there wouldn’t be any point.
I’m happy with them performing it personally. Does make it a little more interesting for some foreigners who don’t quite understand the game, but enjoy the show.
19 Sep 2011, 23:15 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-772: It’s **** Muir. He’s the Fines Manager, now that he has fck all else to do there. I think he has fines for farting on the bus too.
19 Sep 2011, 23:15 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-767: Nope they just talk so much more common sense than stupid imbecilic little runt idiots such as the likes of you .. pathetic little nobody who still somehow thinks he’s a somebody.. thats the difference between people of the world and you dumbfck insular little bewildered moronic confused saffas who think the sun shines out your poophole… you still haven’t grown up .. and it SHOWS..

The fury and the fire is all out now, so go to bed you wasteful misfits.
19 Sep 2011, 23:20 pm
fk-it if they allowed the haka, how come no-one else can stand and shout and gesitculate at the oppo? this whole bladdy thing is rigged and it starts at the top of the referees in old paddy – god gerd waars my perd, he;s worse than gerd bezuidenhout – its daylight robbery them kiwis are getting away with. sure they a small nation and all, but this extreme arrogance must be brought to an end. they need to level the playing field, if they allowed a dance, why cant our boys do a sokkie of iets?

Hi Katman

@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-757:
@rangerman(rangerman)-762:
Howdy Partner.
Havnt read all the comments mate, it just gets a bit much sometimes.
But some things that are said on here can be quite vicious from both parties.
@hendrikp(hendrikp)-763:
Kiwis are welcoming. Take a look at the number of people that live here from all countries.I think i have answered your last question. Now enjoy your stay
19 Sep 2011, 23:23 pm
@ET.(ET.)-782:
Yeah, you’re right. Bed’s gotta be better than trying to translate your vainglorious ramblings.

@>^..^< katman(katman)-778: lazy merc. my old man calls him the gecko.
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-784: true.
19 Sep 2011, 23:28 pm
If anyone needed to know about the continued and healthy existence of the ‘Suid Afrikaanse Wit Wolwe’, they most certainly found it at its rabid, racist best on this thread. That explains why the “wolf-pack” and various other pack mentality forms were evoked.
And all on a rugby blog where 95% of the posters do not have there original gene pool emanating out of Africa.
19 Sep 2011, 23:29 pm
@ET.(ET.)-788: fok off, YOU are the racist here.
Racist swine.
19 Sep 2011, 23:32 pm
@ET.(ET.)-788: haha, we ALL have the “original gene pool emanating out of Africa.”
as a scientist surely you should know this?
19 Sep 2011, 23:33 pm
you must wake up ok?
19 Sep 2011, 23:35 pm
@JL1(JL1)-765:
Well i didnt get that point from some of the posts on here.
But i do agree, it is getting done to often,my point of view, which of course isnt always correct.
BUt you have to consider that some Kiwis are so into their culture that they feel the Haka should be done more often.I say let them.
19 Sep 2011, 23:40 pm
@wooden spoon(wooden spoon)-789:
Stupid, you still cannot read to understand?
It said “Wit Wolwe” and I am not “Wit” and thus cannot be as you hopelessly claim.
19 Sep 2011, 23:41 pm
@ET.(ET.)-793: so oonly wit mense can be racist according to you? Poof goes your theory, you are clear evidence to the contrary Lab Janitor.
19 Sep 2011, 23:43 pm
@Angerman(angerman)-790:
You into wet dreams again and still lying as much because you cannot get that cultural requirement of ‘Apartheid’ out of your mentality and attitude?
19 Sep 2011, 23:45 pm

In the S. Africa I know and you too but fail to admit to, the answer is clearly yes.
Now F-off !
19 Sep 2011, 23:45 pm
@ET.(ET.)-795: another race riddled post from you, you just can’t live without the “struggle” can you? The “struggle” you ran away to America from.
19 Sep 2011, 23:47 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-792: ja but if visitors to your country or visiting sports teams have to face a haka on every corner then dont expect them to “respect” it.
i would simply walk on but i suspect your media would have triplets and thats the real issue.
@ET.(ET.)-795: huh? modern man originated in africa.
so we are all africans r et ard.
if you havent been told this then maybe sit down as you read up on it ok?
19 Sep 2011, 23:49 pm
@Angerman(angerman)-791:
Will you ever regain whatever questionable credibility you deemed you may have had with all the lying you indulge in?
Think about the heritage you leave your daughter.
Now F – off too, LIAR supreme!.
