Keo.co.za brings you the latest news from Pool C.

Still no Pocock for Wallabies - David Pocock has failed to recover from injury in time to face the USA.

The influential openside flank withdrew from the Test against Ireland with a back strain and was the notable omission from the team to play in Wellington on Friday.

Subs: Stephen Moore, Sekope Kepu, Dan Vickerman, Radike Samo, Luke Burgess, Berrick Barnes, Pat McCabe.

All change for USA – Eddie O’Sullivan has made wholesale changes to the side that started against Russia for the USA’s next game against Australia.

Australian-born scrumhalf Tim Usaz will assume the captaincy in the absence of Todd Clever.

Nah, I dont want the Wobbly fans complaining how they were without their talismanic fetcher for the RWC. Lets hope he gets well soon along with SA/NZ s injured players so we can see a fair spectacle between our 3 warring rugby factions. Go ABs!

AB’s aren’t gonna win it man. Start preparing yourself for dissapointment

Common misconception in rugby this. They think the team who scores the most points makes you the best. Completely forget about the other parts of the game, and denying teams try-scoring opurtunities. The All Blacks better hope they can breach the SA defense regularly, because you guys aren’t going to win a kicking duel

Fair call. But also won’t mind beating them either way. Pocock is the best player in the world at the moment in my opinion.

True, there is no denying Pococks pedigeree as “the best” but that should make it all the more satisfying when we (the ABs) win. Thumbs crossed. Go ABs!

Also true, a kicking duel against both Steyns will be a quixotic endeaver on NZ behalf. I think Where the Abs have the edge is in their attacking flair and their uncanny ability to find the gaping chasm in the SA’n defensive line. So long as the ABs score goes up in 5′s/7′s and SA only only increase their score in 3 point increments, the ABs are in with a very good chance of finally winning another RWC.

And that’s where the likes of Heinrich Brussow and Schalk Burger come in. We already have a reasonably good defensive backline, and when they do miss tackles we’ve got a brilliant cover defense.

They’ll need magic from Carter or Izzy Dagg to win that one.

Don’t worry chaps,, I predict Italy to what the Wobblies couldn’t, Beat the men in Green and by return Aus back in front

Rob Horne???? hahahahahahaha, Deans 12 choices are Horne & McCabe??? Now leaving out Giteau looks even more idiotic. How many games did Horne play in last 2-3years?? Guy is rubbish

Berrick Barnes should have started and should be starting 12 come playoffs.

Sans Popo, Aus will lose the 1/4 final against the Boks. ATM, it’s a 50/50 game, but without him it’ll be a Bok win

This guy is huge for the convicts.

and no giteau is going to bite them in the @ss.

    team looks short on leadership.

I’ve always said the Wallabies’ backline, contrary to popular perception and media spin, is strikingly mediocre because of their midfield.

They have a world-class back 3 and erratic yet potentially spectacular 9-10 combo, but as a backline in holistic fashion they are very average.

USA are giving up on this game, no star players in the team.

@SAussie/QldRed(SAussie)-11: hehe. So we all hope.

Otherwise is is Boks and Oz in the quarters. Abs lay waiting for one of our teams. My feeling it will be Boks going to the semi. Unless Wallabies get Pocock back.

See Moore on the bench. He was missed against Ireland too.
