Pumas tear into Leopards

The Pumas recorded a 32-19 win over the Leopards in Nelspruit.

Flyhalf Coenie van Wyk was on fire for the hosts as he was the main inspiration behind the Pumas’ strong first-half performance. The pivot scored 19 points to help the hosts lead 25-0 at the break while wing Wilhelm Loock also scored a dotted down.

The Leopards came back better in the second half, scoring three tries through hooker Gavin Williamson, fullback George Tossel and flanker Philip de Wet. But the deficit was always going to be too great for the visitors as flanker Jaco Bouwer’s try sealed a good win for the Pumas.
